Canvas Dashboards are more than just another reporting option in Adobe Workfront. They offer a powerful way to visualize, understand, and take action on your work. However, since they function differently from traditional reports, many teams either avoid using them or never fully realize their potential.Watch the on-demand webinar for an interactive, practitioner-focused session featuring Skye Hansen, Lead Functional Architect at Merkle, and Matt Mitchell, Principal Product Manager at Adobe. Discover how to use Canvas Dashboards effectively with clear, practical guidance, without getting bogged down in configuration details.Skye and Matt will explain how Canvas Dashboards fit into the broader Workfront reporting landscape, highlight their advantages over other report types, and show you how to build dashboards that people actually use.Specifically, you’ll learn:How Canvas Dashboards integrate with the Workfront reporting landscape and the unique capabilities they offer beyond standard

Thank you to all who attended our Southern California Chapter Workfront User Group Event today! We loved the participation and there was a lot of interest around this topic. We discussed bringing AI agents into Workfront, walked through a framework for evaluating whether an idea is worth building, choosing the right tool for the job, and honest lessons on what makes agents actually stick. For anyone who missed the event, the recording is linked here:   Also, if you want to keep the conversation going on AI in Workfront whether it be with API, MCP, Collaborators, Fusion, etc., feel free to post in the thread below or on our LinkedIn post recap.Olya and I would love to hold more events on this topic as well so your feedback is always helpful. Thank you,Becky Barus

Project management in Adobe Workfront is about more than tracking projects, building timelines, and assigning tasks. It is about changing the mindset: Workfront can be a shared communication and reporting tool that helps teams understand what is happening, what needs attention, and why the work matters.Specifically, you’ll learn:How to use Workfront as a communication and reporting system, with project and traffic managers facilitating the flow of information rather than owning every routine task. How to use accurate updates, hours, statuses, templates, dashboards, and reports to communicate details and support better business decisions. How to tailor information to each audience, while managing notifications and cadence to avoid overload. How to keep improving after implementation by reviewing adoption, planned versus actual hours, workflows, and templates. View the on-demand webinar: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/on-demand-events/project-management-workfront

Please provide a report type for Field Tracking so users can access and do their own research when needed. Currently only reporting is available through setup with system admin access on our enterprise.

When a linked folder is created in Workfront and contains a large number of existing assets, the synchronization process can generate hundreds or even thousands of individual email notifications based on users' notification preferences. While the current behavior may be working as designed, these large-scale notification events can quickly overwhelm user inboxes and create a poor user experience. We would like to see an option to automatically suppress or disable email notifications that are generated as a result of linked folder synchronization activities. Ideally, administrators could configure this behavior globally or at the linked folder level to prevent mass notification events while still preserving important user-facing notifications for normal day-to-day work. This enhancement would significantly improve the usability and scalability of linked folders, reduce inbox fatigue, and help organizations more broadly adopt Workfront integrations and asset management workflows without cr

Please provide administrators with the ability to remove or hide the default Frescopa Sample Workspaces from Workfront Planning. As we begin rolling out Planning to our users, these sample workspaces can create unnecessary confusion. One of the biggest pain points is when users add a connected field and are presented with a long list of Frescopa Marketing record types and fields that are unrelated to their organization. This makes the experience more cluttered and increases the learning curve for new users.

I would like to advocate for Adobe to introduce more robust reporting capabilities and intuitive charts that clearly display planned hours, actual hours logged, and remaining planned hours for each assignee when tasks have multiple assignees.Currently, it can be challenging to track individual contributions and workload balance across team members on shared tasks.  When there’s one assignee per task, it’s much easier, but that’s not real world for us.Enhanced visual reports and dashboards would empower project managers and leadership to better monitor resource allocation, identify bottlenecks, and improve forecasting accuracy.  Leadership doesn’t want to look at numerous reports, or jump to the Resource Planner and apply filters, to try and piece together this puzzle. Thanks for the consideration!

A HUGE thank you to @MikeEngel  for sharing all his knowledge on the Unified Approvals transition! We realize there were a lot of unanswered questions from the chat so we are working on a consolidated Q&A that we’ll post here later, as well as discussing additional webinars to address these!  As discussed today, access to Unified Approvals will be based on your Workfront contract renewal date, but if you want to get access earlier, reach out to your account team to see if you can recontract early! Below are a summary, links to the slide deck, recording, and resources! Senior Product Manager Mike Engel shared updates on the new Unified Approvals experience, bringing enhanced review and collaboration tools for both video and non-video assets. Mike demo’d the new experience, including annotation and collaboration tools. He also discussed the transition, which will allow teams to adopt it in stages (using both legacy and new approvals, as needed) as well as potential future capabiliti

A huge thank you to everyone who joined today's Champion Chat: Things We Changed Our Minds About with Workfront! And an extra special shoutout to our amazing Workfront Champions - Carol @CarolMajewski , Kellie @KellieGardner , Monique @MoniqueEvans , Olya @OK18 , and Tim @TimWy1 - for being so open about their lessons learned, sharing their real-world experiences, and helping make our community such a welcoming place to learn. We're incredibly grateful for people like you who are willing to keep it honest and help others grow!   Panelist Questions & Answers: What's a Workfront hill you used to die on that you've since climbed down from? Panelists said they’ve shifted from rigid, one-size-fits-all approaches to more flexible, practical use of Workfront. They also embraced "good enough to launch" implementations and accepted that Workfront isn't meant to replace every system. What's a feature or capability you initially disliked but now love? Custom forms, groups/group admins,

I’d like to propose a fairly simple idea. We create reports with many OR sections. I would say it takes some time to go back over time to remember what each section was filtering for. There could be a simple solution where there is a label and description box for each OR section.

The Problem: If your company uses Workfront Data Connect on the Ultimate plan, you know it runs on an Adobe-managed Snowflake Reader Account. Because customers don't have admin-level database privileges on these instances, we can't create custom Snowflake Row Access Policies or Secure Views. This creates a huge security roadblock when trying to restrict sensitive data by team, region, business unit, etc.The Solution: Adobe should give its top tier customers native row-level filtering capabilities for Data Connect—either by provisioning provider-side Secure Views/Row Access Policies based on customer specs, or by adding row-level governance controls directly within the Workfront admin interface. Why Vote for This? Unlock Broader Usage: Safely roll out Data Connect insights to more teams without exposing restricted or sensitive rows. Tighter Security: Meet strict enterprise compliance and data governance standards natively. No More Workarounds: Stop building complex, costly ETL pipeli

Join Senior Product Manager, @LilitM  for this deep dive into one of the most impactful innovations in Workfront Planning: Global Record Types. Curious what actually goes on inside a Workfront user group session? Here's a taste. In a recent Workfront Central session, Deborah Baker (Marketing Workflow Leader) and Megan Lehman (Workfront Developer) walked through how they built a fully connected marketing system of record using Workfront Planning, Core, and Fusion, the kind of hands-on, behind-the-curtain walkthrough you won't find in the docs. This recap is the technical companion to their Perspectives article, Designing Workfront adoption for the long haul, which covers the strategy behind the build: people first, process second, system third. Here's how it comes together in practice. The challengeThe team set out to build an end-to-end template environment for a marketing-heavy organization, a major consolidation effort that condensed multiple separate intake requests into one streamlined flow. A request now comes in through Planning, spins out a program, a hero deliverable, and a request queue for one-off derivatives tied bac
