Adobe Workfront General

How do we push assets to AEMaaCS from approved workfront assets? does this include javascript, java? I am an enginner.

I am in the process of working with some coworkers to determine what custom forms we can deactivate (or potentially delete) because they are no longer in use and the data tied to them is not relevant. I managed to make a custom view in the backend under Custom Forms > Forms and I have managed to create a custom view under Custom Forms > Fields that shows me what fields are associated with what forms. What I was hoping to be able to do is combine the two into one report, preferably in the custom form view that I created. However, I think that Workfront treats Forms, Fields, and Sections as their own thing and don't allow for hybrid reporting because of this separation of data. I thought that I might be able to utilize the text editing for the column parameters in an effort to pull in field data. But, one, I don't know if that would even work. And two, I have no idea how I would code it out (I am the furthest thing from a coder). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am trying to get this api call to work: https://xxxxxxx.my.workfront.adobe.com/attask/api/v18.0/session?apiKey=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx   It only works when some one is already logged into Workfront.  Any suggestions will be a massive help

Several colleagues using Workfornt have received an email that claims to come from  Adobe with the email address message@adobe.com.The messages claim that:"As a result of changes made by your administrator, the way you sign in to your existing Workfront account has changed. You will now sign in with your Adobe ID. To get started, simply click the button below to accept your invitation. Once you have accepted your invitation, you will need to sign in. This can be done using an existing Adobe ID or by setting up a new Adobe ID using the same email address."There is then a button "Accept Invitation".On right clicking the button, the URL it directs to starts with https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com/ims/authorize/v1 and the URL continues with other information.   Is this a phishing email ?

Our agency was migrated to the Console last week. Since that time the WF "add on" for Outlook is not in my menu and not available to add. Has anyone else experienced this? Suggestions for getting it back?

As promised, I have follow-up resources for those who attended the Skill Exchange in San Francisco on November 14. During my presentation Process Optimization through Adobe Workfront, I shared a couple dashboards that supported process improvement for and around our Workfront usage:Workfront administration roadmapRequestor analysisDue to time constraints (and because it would've probably been boring), I didn't walk you through every detail. However, for those who need the details, I have attached my slides, including visual breakdowns. The PDF should enable you to copy-paste the expressions, if you so choose. If you have any questions about what you see, don't hesitate to reply to this thread or send me a private message. It was such a delight to meet folks in person—customers and Adobe employees alike, including @kristinfarwell , @jon_chen, @kelliegardner, and so many more.

I hope this message finds you well.I would like to import Japan’s weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and public holidays into Workfront to facilitate progress tracking and effort calculations. I have the official public holiday data from Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, which I can provide as an attachment.Could you please guide me on the steps or process to bulk import this data into Workfront so that these days are recognized as non-working days? Additionally, if there are any specific format requirements or tools needed for this import, kindly let me know.Thank you in advance for your support. I look forward to your guidance.Best regards,

I currently have a process that involves adding multiple project templates to a project. I have done some testing and wanted to confirm that the only items that can be added/updated would be found in the Options section (attached) and not areas within the Overview and Finance Sections of the Project. Thanks!

I am creating some custom forms for our Marketing team. We are planning on having Programs = Campaigns, theProgram will focus on a Brand and the task level work might involve specifc Brand related promotion. They asked for a field that would indicate the product. It would be helpful to isolate the list based on the Brand selected at the Program level, instead of re-selecting the brand on the task form to make the display logic work. So the example would be: If "Brand A" is selected at the Program level, corresponding "Product list A" is diplayed at the Task level. If "Brand B" then "Product list B" is displayed at the Task level.Seems like maybe there's way with calculated fields...??? thanks

Can test plan ,test cases be created and linked to the tasks or projects  in workfront

Hi all, I'm attempting to create an Issue Approval Report that displays a list of all the issues a user ($$USER.ID) is assigned to, that they haven't rendered a decision on.  I didn't see anything in reporting that would allow me to generate a report like this. Does anyone know how to create a filter that only shows pending approvals for $$USER.ID, and how to display the users approval status as a column on the report.

I need to have a time sheet summary report for a group of employees. I can show their single entry task hours and planned hours, but not summarized by the various hour entries - task hours, PTO, overhead hours, etc. in total for the time period. Also, the planned hours are not for the report duration (e.g. one week) but are rather for the entire task duration - so it shows up as individual task line items with the TOTAL planned hours on every single line. (if the person has multiple entries for the same task over the course of a week, it will show the same total every single time so that it looks like they were planned to work way higher hours in the week instead of 40). -- Bob - 2 hours - planned 20 hours; then next line Bob -  1.5 hours planned 20 hours (in the end, it looks like Bob worked 40 hours but was planned to work double or triple that amount due to the double counting) Ideally I want the report to sayName -- total hours entered ---- total hours planned ---- t

Hi! I was about to send this question to support but though of checking with the community first.I created a "Document Report" so we can view all the documents the team has uploaded to our WF Projects since Jan 1st 2024. The team needs this report to review the documents and download what they want to keep since this team is migrating into another tool, so they want to create a library with 2024 documents they want to keep after the migration is completed. They're asking me for the report to include the Project Owner name, but since the report is a Document Report, the only "Owner: Name" available is the owner of the document, but what I need is for the Project Owner Name to have its own column, so managers can filter the report by their name and find the Projects/Documents associated with the projects owned by them only. But the only "Project Owner" I can find is "ID", and that only shows a long number. I need the column to show the Project Owner Name. How can I do that

Hi,   I am trying to figure out how to use the Workfront proof fusion module called 'Request PDF Summary'. My hope is that this module returns information relating to the 'Print summary' part of the proofing tool where comments on the proof are summarised and it's possible to print / export from this page, however i can't seem to get the 'callback URL' part of the field in the right format and i wondered if anyone had any experience of using this, and if it will actually produce the output i'm after if i can get it working?   According to the documentation on experience league the callback URL should be "where you want the pdf summary sent" but there's no example of what that might look like. I've also looked in the proofHQ api a the requestPDFPrintSummary() item and tried to reconstruct the callback from the xml in their example but i always end up with a 500 error.   any help would be appreciated!   @Workfront Fusion 2.0   https://api.proofhq.com/home/ca

As per the press release on our homepage... "As more and more Adobe Workfront clients transition from the classic Username / Password security to SSO and Adobe Admin Console, we are delighted to announce the release of a MAJOR upgrade to our underlying technology that now also allows authentication by Username / API KEY. In addition to ensuring our existing clients can continue to enjoy the solutions they’ve come to rely upon, this means that EVERYONE can now run our solutions. So! If you’ve never looked, WELCOME…and if you looked before but couldn’t touch, WELCOME BACK!"  Now that www.atappstore.com is part of the API Key club, I'm curious...any interesting wins or gotchas you can share about using API Keys vs classic Username / Password API authentication? Regards,Doug

In a calendar, I am trying to get a time off filter to display only those users of a specific group (not a home group) who have time off. Hello, We are wanting to start to use Programs to group together some of our larger campaign projects that come in. I have created a new Portfolio to then house these Programs as they will need to sit away from the existing Portfolios we have, and then created about 10 Programs that sit underneath the new Portfolio. Our Project Manager has amended the 'Project Details' of a Project to include the new Portfolio and Program details to test this out, however since doing so, our internal users are no longer able to access the project or log time on their assigned Tasks, and external clients are no longer able to view Proofs within the Project.  It seems the point the Portfolio is added to the project is when the internal user loses access to the project. I assumed it was some sort of access issue, but if I then un-assign and then re-assign the user to a task within the project, they are again able to access the project and add time to tasks.  I've tested

Greetings Workfront community, I've been working towards my Workfront Developer certification this year and am curious if I am looking at the requirements correctly, as they seem to be scattered throughout the adobe certification and proctorU sites (I tend to find more the more I dig).  Does the below look correct?Equipment must meet proctor U technical specificationsMy work equipment will not work due to cybersecurity restraints, so I have to use a personal laptop (about 8 years old)Must be able to download, install, and launch the guardian browserMust be able to log into adobe certification siteDue to my profile being associated with my work SSO and not allowed on personal equipment, I had to create a new account under my personal email and request the accounts to be merged. Unable to register for exam until that's completed. Open internet connection to proctorUThis rules out taking the exam from any of our work locations, as the connection is restricted by cybers
