Adobe Workfront Fusion

Hi everyone Has anyone used Fusion to set the value of a multi-select field in Jira cloud? I have a scenario that creates a job in Jira, but one of the Jira task fields is a multi-select field. I cannot pass the raw value and I cannot pass the "12345:array" value either. If anyone has done this it would be brilliant to know how yo did this. All the best Stuart

Hey guys.. We were just wondering if anyone leverages the Salesforce integration through Fusion and if so, what are some of the benefits and risks of the connection? How difficult is the setup and maintenance of the connection?

I'd like to display a custom form on the Document Details screen. I cannot do this manually through the Project Template because I'd need to load a document to the template to access the menu to add the form, and then it would appear only in the Custom Forms screen of the document, not the Details screen. I also tried Darin's custom API to display the form (which works brilliantly on tasks) but it comes up with an invalid parameter for the form ID (even though it's correct), so I'm now wondering if this is possible at all. I'm trying something new with my projects and setting them on a new milestone path to better align our product development schedule. Because of that, I need to update a few thousand active tasks to adhere to the milestone path. Since we use templates, I can easily create a report to pull the specific tasks that need to be edited but you cannot bulk edit task milestones in WF.I'm hoping one of you savvy folks already has a Fusion scenario you're willing to share.

Hi All So i find myself a bit stuck with using the "In" operator. Fusion 2.0 suggests i should do this as i want to find all Projects that are either "AWA"" or "PLN" (I am aware my screenshot only shows "PLN" at present) What i cant seem to figure is how to do this in the above module? There will be several other "AND Rules" statements to follow this. I have written countless API queries and always end up going down the road of something like: proj/search?status=AWA&status=PLN&status_Mod=in So how can i replicate this using the "In" operator as above? Hi All, I have a situation where I am using one project for two different teams. "Team B" needs to restrict visibility (task access) from "Team A" ( which will include the project owner). I can accomplish within Workfront by removing the inherited permissions from the task, then removing the project owner from the resulting list. Ive been told that fusion can accomplish this process as well, however I have not been able to figure out exactly how to do it. Also I know it is not typically a best practice to hide tasks from a Project Owner, however "Team B" is insisting that this be done because there are steps within their workflow that are internal to that the team. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have been trying to create a scenario where I pull data from a custom form on a new issue and create multiple bundles from the same form. Here's a screenshot. I want the input with multiple similar data points to output multiple bundles. Is that possible?

We're new to Fusion, implemented earlier this year. We made immediate progress in automating a number of repetitive steps/errors that happen when new projects are created by our PM team. They've started to pick up on how it works, and we're getting requests for customizations for particular client/project needs as well. For some clients, we do a high volume of repetitive work, so customizations absolutely make sense. What I'm looking to understand is if there are any best practices for structuring the scenario design so we can track what happens, when and where before we make a mess. Ex - today I have a 'New Project Setup' scenario that executes a collection of checks/updates that we want run on every single project. Then we built one for a specific high-volume client that does another lengthy collection of steps but also triggered by a new project. I see a world coming where I have a lot of these, so I'm looking for ideas on corralling them all. Any watch-

I keep getting an "Invalid Login Attempt" error. I am using the NS sandbox and have full admin rights in it.

I have used the JIra create record module to create a task and that works fine but when I attempt to create a sub-task, there is no-where in the execution builder to put the parent key. If anyone has done this it would be great to know how. Best regards, Stuart Cairns

We have several webhooks which successfully receive HTML files via POST (using JQuery) to Fusion Webhooks. We are now developing a new scenario where we want to submit image / text / ics files to a Fusion webhook. No problem sending from Postman, so we know the 'structure' of the post is right, but as soon as we use JQuery we get the following error: Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://app.workfrontfusion.com/wh/XXXXX' from origin 'https://XXX.XXX.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: The 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header has a value 'https://app.workfrontfusion.com' that is not equal to the supplied origin. I'm hoping there's someone out there who's run into this already and knows the solution - my suspicion is that it has something to do with the fact that it's Multipart form data - but the documentation is a little unclear on exact requirement / structure

Who the issue is assigned to is always static based on the product line it is for (custom form field) but the planned start and planned completion date is dynamic based on if they have capacity. The standard is the planned start and finish date will be in 3 business days if on that 3rd business day they less than 8 hours planned. If they have 8 or more hours planned, it will be assigned to the next business day they have capacity.

I am trying to end up with a file that has an entry for everytime an overall proof decision was made. The columns are Project Reference Number, Project Name, Task ID, Parent Task ID, Stage Name, Stage Start Date, Stage End Date. I've tried several things and run into a problem with each of them. The main thing is I don't see how to just pull a list of proof stages for a date period. The search module is asking for a name, the read is asking for an ID. Is there a way to use the API module to pull a list of proofs I can use to use one of the other modules? I can listen for the change and get the list going forward, but I need data starting at the beginning of the year. I also need to write this data out to a file. We can't use Google Docs here, so I'm limited to writing to Excel. When I got too many items to just using the watch and starting with as of yesterday, I'm running into a throttling problem on the Excel side. Is there a way to just create the whole file a

Is anyone using Fusion for offboarding users? I want to implement an offboarding process, especially when we deactivate Planners or Workers, that would look at what work is assigned to them or what projects are owned by them and then send a list to their group admin or something like that. Haven't looked into if I could have user deactivation as a scenario trigger, but that's what I'm envisioning. Just curious if anyone else is using Fusion for offboarding, and how so :)

I'm connected Fusion to Jira Cloud for a client demo and it's all good. However, the client uses Gsuite and accesses their Jira Cloud instance using SSO from their Google credentials. They are also keen to know how Fusion works technically and what it's architecture is before they green-light it. I assume some of this is secret sauce but are there any docs/sites I can go to to get some sort of info to go back to them with? Thanks v much.

We have a custom form field where:Label = Accountants, Value = ACSLabel = Payroll, Value = PRLetc., but for this particular Fusion scenario I would like to use the label instead of the value for an input. Is there a way to do this?

I just got this working, so thought I share to save the next person trying to figure this out some time. In Bynder, you need to have permissions to https://www.[your domain].com/pysettings/Click OAuth Apps, add new AppUse grant type Authorizaion Code + Refresh Token; Authorization redirect URI for workfront is https://app.workfrontfusion.com/oauth/cb/workfront-bynderSelect whatever you want to access via Fusion.This will give you the client ID and client secret, copy those. When you add the connection in Fusion, use your bynder domain name and then click the Advanced check box and add that ID and secret codes there.

Maybe this is one for the Innovation Lab... when a custom field is renamed in Workfront, I then need to find every module that it's in and update the module with the "new" custom field. For example, if a module has the box checked for that custom field as an input, once the name is changed then it will unselect that field. Is there a good way to go about this? I have a hard time knowing/finding every single place that the field is used within our scenarios. Does that Fusion Chrome extension offer any solution to this perhaps?

I know the NTAG endpoint is a thing but I keep getting this error when trying to call it through a Fusion API module: The operation failed with an error. [422] APIModel V11_0 does not support field NTAG (Note) Any help would be appreciated.

Using the Fusion 2.0 'Upload document' module for Workfront and passing a valid project ID (confirmed), it takes a while for the red ring to surround the upload document module, then fails to upload a document. There's not a lot of explanation in the output error, just that Workfront couldn't do it at this time. I'm pretty sure it worked a week ago, and now has stopped.

My goal is to store Workfront task details in SQL to use to build reports in Power BI. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
