Adobe Workfront Fusion

If I read a field (parameter) ID or name in, find the custom forms it is used on. Once I find the form ID, I would like to use the parameter ID and ctgy ID to remove the parameter from the form. 

 Hi, Does anyone know how can I auto-populate fields across custom forms - Lets say I have two projects name A and B. My teams manually complete the same field in different custom forms across the project A and B. This is  tedious and duplicative. Is there's a way where a custom form field is filled out once and propagated across the different custom form in the project A and B? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. TIA

I'm working on a scenario with a Watch Events module--it's triggered when a custom project field (1) exists; and (2) is changed (the custom field is a date field).  I added a Set Variable module used to parse the date.  However, I've discovered that the custom field is not available in the mapping panel under the Watch Events module; instead I have to add a Read a Record module to output the custom field (and then use that in the Set Variable module).When I look at the scenario history, the output of the Watch Events module includes all of the custom project fields and their values (under the newState collection).  Is there a reason why these fields wouldn't be available in the mapping panel of downstream modules--particularly when one of these fields is the basis for the scenario trigger?Thanks.

I want to check if a newly created task has a specific form in the objectCategories. Is there any way to access this variable without using an extra read record module? I can implement this using the read module but I would prefer to save 1 extra operation using a filter before I add the form, how would I access this variable prior using dot notation accessors, Is this even possible? Also could do this also in the filter of the watch event trigger? An example would something like the screenshot below 

New user here, so bear with me. 🙂 We have a use case, where we would like to update new user settings with Fusion. As a part of that, we would like to be able to update the user's notifications settings on their profile. Is this something Fusion can do?

How can I use Workfront Fusion to turn on AutoProofGeneration either for a document and/or a user?

I am trying to have an automated iterative process for reviewing content: 1. A file is uploaded to a issue and then via WF Fusion, a proof is created.(Working)2. A new version of the file is uploaded, then via WF Fusion, a new version of the proof is created and linked to the new doc version in the same way it is if done normally via the browser UI. I can upload the file as a new doc version, I can also upload it directly to proof as a new version of the proof, but I can't the proof version to link to the doc version. Is there a way to use the Document->createProof/createProofREST actions to create a new proof version instead of just a new proof?   

Hi Fusion Community, I'm looking to update a large number of template tasks with job roles.  All of these updates are for many roles per task. Is this possible to do via Fusion?  I haven't had success with Kickstarts and have been working with Support on it, but curious if this can be done using Fusion instead? I set up a scenario for this as follows:Download document module to kick things offParse CSV to separate out the columns/fields within my CSV fileUpdate record module. For the Record Type field, I was thinking of using the 'Assignment' object, but I can't seem to get a list of assignment ID's from template tasks - at least not from frontend reporting.I then thought maybe I'll use the 'Template Task' Record Type, but it only allows you to map to the 'Assigned To ID' field, which is the primary assignee.  I have many assignees I need to assign to individual tasks.Thoughts?  Ideas?Thanks!Nick

I currently have a scenerio set up, I add a proof (document) to a project task for approval, once approved the document is synced to an external Dam and transfers across. Before syncing, a custom form is attached (asset details) that contains the meta data that matches up with the Taxonomy in the DAM.The issue is, this form has to be atatched to each document, sometimes upto 40 documents can be added for approval.My plan is to add the asset details form to project details as a (proj) so once each asset is approved, it pulls the meta data from project level and attatches it to the document before sync. The problem is the data isn't being pulled from project level and I'm a bit stuck. Can anyone help? 

Fairly new to Fusion. I'm writing a scenario to add an update to tasks when a specific status is used that notifies certain people based on custom fields on the project.I'm getting a "User with primary key value(s)...not found" error, and I can't figure out why. The object ID it's searching on is correct.  

Hello everyone, this is the second time that I have ran into this issue while working in Fusion 2.0 and was able to get around it the first time but not so lucky now 😅 . Essentially, I want to create a Workfront proof on a task with a workflow template attached. I have thought about two ways of doing it. I could create a proof using the ProofHQ connector but the problem there is I don't know how to associate that proof in ProofHQ with a document on the task level in Workfront.I create a document in Workfront with the 'Upload Document' module and then I use the 'Misc Actions' Workfront Module and I use the 'createProof' action but this is where I get stuck. How do I attach the workflow template? I think it might have something to do with the 'advancedProofingOptions' field but I don't know what to put in there to attach the workflow template?The second option is the route I am on right now but if anyone has any more eloquent and functional solut

I'm working in Workfront with custom fields that have calculations pulling from both number fields and currency fields. I'm trying to get the front-end display to match the back-end values being stored. When I pull the numbers into Excel, they are coming in with extra decimal places like 123.446 instead of rounding to 123.45 as displayed.I've tried using number and currency rounding functions but cannot seem to get the two values (front-end display vs back-end stored value) to match up. I also have Fusion available if that could provide a workaround, though I'm not very proficient with coding or Fusion.Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get the back-end stored number calculated in a custom field to round to the same number of decimal places as the front-end display? I'm looking for a solution within Workfront if possible.I should add that if I use a currency field it displays correctly ($1,102.25) but the back-end does not match (1102.245). I have a scenario that creates a task on a separate project with a new request (Issue) is submitted via a form.However, since I created the scenario, all Tasks created by the scenario are requested by me. We need the Requested By field to show the person who submitted the original request. Any ides on how to achieve this?

I am trying to set up a new connection in Fusion to AEM but the only connection I can get only has Read only permissions. Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution? We followed the set-up instructions here  - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/adobe-workfront-fusion/fusion-apps-and-modules/aem-assets-modules - to create an AEM Assets as a Cloud Service connection. We downloaded the credentials from the AEM Admin Console and found that the Meta Scopes were set to: "metascopes": "ent_aem_cloud_api",While this did connect to our instance of AEM, the scopes only allowed Read only permissions and we were unable to upload, update or move records as we expected/needed. We have spent a considerable amount of time looking for alternative information on what to change in the standard credentials downloaded from the AEM console but have been unable to grant Write permissions to the connection. We

What is the best way to create a text file from a bundle of events? I have a watch events module that can have up to 1000 events and I need to get those bundles that contain lots of fields to a text file.

We've got a custom project form that contains a field for the project's recording date; the field is set up to show only the date, not the time of day.  I'm working on an automation, triggered by an addition or change to this date field, that adjusts the planned start date for the corresponding recording task to match.I first tested the scenario using hard-coded info from a sample project.  I used a Read a Record module to pull the field info--it shows the field only as a date:I parsed this date and added 7 hours to it before passing it to the Update Record module for the task (our Fusion is on Denver time, and we're on EST, so this results in the date having a 9:00am time).  This worked fine.I then started playing around with triggers.  I created a second scenario with a Watch Field module to detect changes in the recording date field.  The task gets updated with this scenario but with the wrong time.  I started inspecting the modules, and I discovered th

I got an error message earlier today for one of my scenarios and went into Fusion to investigate.  When I click into one of the errored attempts, nothing shows up under Simple Log, and if I click on Advanced Log, Fusion takes me out of my scenario altogether and back to the home screen.I experimented and found that I can get the logs by clicking on 'Go to original record.'  However, this seems to work only if I'm clicking on it from the main attempts screen:If I go into one of the attempts and try to navigate to the original record from there, I get spinning circles and a page unresponsive notice:I cleared my browser's cache/cookies, and the issues persisted.  I don't have any of these issues when using the old UI.  Is anyone else seeing this behavior?  This new UI is clearly not performing well.

Where do I need to look to find the IP address associated with Fusion? I need to give this to my network administrator and I have no clue how or where to find it.

I am creating a custom form for users to request new work groups. I would like to add a field  that auto populates the requestors group and then allows them to select from a list if the group needs to be different. I am assuming this will happen in Fusion, any idea where I would go to for how to information? Thanks

I am tasked with updating the planned completion time of a certain task to 6:00. To do this you must update the planned completion time of the project to later than that if it is earlier, so I am updating the time to 6:01. I tested this 11 times in a row and only 1 of them failed to update the time. I also tested this 50 times in a row with a 5 second sleep in-between project creation and updating and 4 failed to update the time. Does anyone know why this would be happening? The fails are happening when an issue is being converted to a project template that contains 1 task that needs its time to be changed.
