Workload balancer - hours showing when no tasks assigned

Having an issue with Workload Balancer showing hours allocated to a user, even though they have no tasks against their name for that date. Similarly, seeing dates with inflated hours, where the assigned tasks add up to a certain number, but the number shown in balancer is significantly more. Is there a solve for this?

Couple of things I would check

  1. Have you checked what schedule is applied to the user’s profile vs the schedule of the project. If the user has a different schedule from the project, this can cause the planned start/completion dates to shift to accommodate the working schedule of the person assigned to the task.
  2. Are you in a different timezone or have a different schedule applied to your profile vs the task assignee? This can cause the allocation amounts to appear differently to two users viewing the same work items in the workload balancer (you can read more on this here)
