Status Update Report

We use the status update column within a report to provide weekly project updates to upper management. The status update only allows the project owner's most recent project update to appear; however, when the project owner is out the project sponsor completes the update for them. Looking to get the status update or equivalent field to specify where they updates are pulling from (preferably the project owner and sponsor).
