Resource Forecasting Updates

Our agency tends to have month-to-month projects, meaning we don't have a lot of work planned out for months in advance. This makes it difficult to resource forecast. We've found a work around by setting up dummy resources for various roles of our company and then adding these resources to a resource forecast project (tasks broken down by client). It seems like there should be an easier way to do this.. maybe even assigning to a role instead and having the option to pull the unassigned role AND resource to the grid.
