Quick Tip: Are you unable to summarize a Custom Field column by count, sum or average?

Do you need to summarize a report column by count, sum, average, maximum or minimum, but you're not seeing the drop-down menu for "Summarize this column by" on the field when creating or editing your report?

Only number and currency fields can by summarized by these options. If you're trying to summarize a custom field column, check to make sure that the field format is set to Number or Currency. You can check this in the Main Menu > Setup > Custom Forms area.
