Multiplee assignee - lost functionality in new view

When subtasks have multiple assignees by role type, and the bulk edit tool is used to swap out a role for a name, it now removes an additional role types on those subtasks.

Example attached - all subtasks with Digital Customer Experience are selected, edited to change for a name, but the subtasks that had multiple assignees (200, 202 & 203) have removed the other team despite ‘Remove all exisiting assignees’ not being checked on the edit screen.

This has been the case since the new edit view was implemented. It has added considerable time to assigning projects, with lots of manual additions on individual lines being required where bulk assigning used to suffice.

I haven’t noticed that it removes existing groups/teams, i’ll have to keep an eye out for that.

This new interface has caused a lot of confusion in our office and is a major regression in my opinion.  Specifically, it’s no longer obvious how to add a user, it just says ‘Search people, role and teams’, in very light grey text. Then, when you add a user, it highlights everything in purple?

I don’t remember this being rolled out as part of the last quarterly update. Did they even mean to roll out this feature?

there was an off schedule release for the following:

If you’re experiencing any issues, it could be related, and if you haven’t reported it to Support, you should probably do so.

Thank you so much!

As far as my team is concerned, this is a major change.  Why are they rolling out changes like this off-schedule?

I’ll make a ticket with support to give them our feedback.  Thanks again!

@user01245  I think one of the account managers was also confused about why there were changing being rolled out off-schedule. It’s been occurring for months now. No explanation was ever given. Pro tip regarding Support cases: be sure to note how much of your instance is being impacted (e.g. impacts to all standard license holders) and what the impact has been (decrease in accuracy of assignments or increase in mouse clicks, etc.)
