Manager Routing Not Working

I've created a request queue for time off requests. 

My Queue Details is setup with a routing rule for ticket added, which is not managerial specific (but even when I have it to the manager routing it still doesn't work)

My Queue Topic has a default approval in place which is set to "assigned to Manager" (accessible by all groups). 

I don't have a default route set. 

When I submit or anyone on the team, it always defaults to me being the manager and being given the approval request. I do have Managers/Org Chart info in the system. 

 

Why is it defaulting to me, what am I missing?

The "Assigned to Manager" is the manager of the person that the request is assigned to. Sounds like you would prefer it to go to the Primary Contact Manager? (Not sure if I am reading your goal correctly)

The "Assigned to Manager" is the manager of the person that the request is assigned to. Sounds like you would prefer it to go to the Primary Contact Manager? (Not sure if I am reading your goal correctly)
