Keep Autosave Setting by Project

Currently, when you disable the auto-save feature on your project‚ to use the undo feature, the setting does not remain set for that particular project. When you navigate away to another project and return to the previous project, the autosave button is re-enabled. Can this be changed to keep the autosave turned off if it was previous disabled?
