Adobe Workfront

Hello! I'm trying to set up a validation logic where a different message will appear depending on the selection made on a single-select dropdown field, DE:Series.  For example, if I select value "Option 1" in the Series field, I see the following text: Select Brief for content type. However if I select "Option 2", I want to see the following text: Select Podcast for content type. I'm hitting a wall as I try to program the logic. This is what I have so far, but it's not working as expected:IF({DE:Series}=="Option 1","Select Brief for content type."||{DE:Series}=="Suite Talk", "Select Podcast for content type.") Is it possible to have multiple messages for each value in the logic? TIA!

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to create a matrix report that lets users drill down to see the data similar to Jira. So for instance, if the matrix report for requests is grouped by assignee and status and shows the count for each, I would like to be able to click on that count and see the underlying requests. The only option I have seen so far is to switch between the matrix and details view. Thanks for any ideas you have. 

Hi there! I am wondering if anyone knows of a way via text mode to pull a project owner/sponsor name into a task (or assignment) report. I want to be able to show this as we are trying to teach our creative teams to look at who the stakeholders on their projects are so they know who to contact for questions. I know I can pull this int on a project report, but I do want to also be able to show it in a task report since some of our users prefer to work via their tasks. Thanks!

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anybody could advise how the 'Requested By' field is populated under the Issue Stakeholders section of the Overview in an Issue/Request. The field is appearing as N/A, but I can't seem to find where it links to. Thank you!

Hello, I have a calculated field that displays the latest date among a selection of fields. One such field is a multi-checkbox, each with their own start date field. I am attempting to pull the latest date from these selections but for some reason my calculation spits out a date that is one day earlier than the latest date. For example, if the latest date in a selection of multiple fields is 3/30, my calculation will say 3/29. Here is the specific part of my code that relates to the Multi-checkbox field:    DMAX( {DE:Start Date - xx}, {DE:Start Date - xx}, {DE:Start Date - xx}, {DE:Start Date - xx}, {DE:Start Date - xx}, {DE:Start Date - xx}, {DE:Start Date - xx}, {DE:Start Date - xx}, {DE:Start Date - xx}, {DE:Start Date - xx} ), "" ),  Here you can see that the dates are indeed 3/30 but the calculation

In my instance, we've added a number of Typeahead fields over the years that we've come to regret, mainly because they appear as top-level objects in Reporting tools and confuse everyone trying to build reporting. I can only explain why Project reports show two Portfolio and Program options with completely different options under them so many times. (Yes, I could re-name the fields but I wanted a better solution.) Finally I decided to experiment with replacing the Typeaheads with External Reference fields that looked the information up from Workfront's API instead. I've included a set of examples below for the objects I replaced, along with some gotchas I found along the way.  Project Templates. This was the easiest one, since we have less than 100 active templates in our instance.  Depending on what I wanted the drop-down to display, I could potentially filter further by the Group of the template, or any other template field. Here is some information to hopefully outline this scenario:No Fusion is used, but can be suggested as a solution if there is none available in Core Workfront.Compliance Request Project - Standalone Queue Project that teammates can access and add an issue by going to the Request queueWebdev Pjt Template - This is where I am adding Queue Topics, Routing Rules to route Issues that use the same Custom Form available in the Compliance Request form in the Request queue.  Issues route to the Compliance Request Project just fine. However, because it is not a formal 'request' from the request tab, and instead is an issue generated in the Webdev Pjt, the issue is routed automatically and silently, with no way for the Issue submitter to know where the Issue has gone. Is there a way to:Keep a 'copy' of the Issue on the Webdev Pjt where the Issue originated from?Link the Issue back to the Webdev Pjt from the Compliance Request Project? I appreciate your insights! When approving documents in WF, it does not show the audit trail, i.e. date and time the document was approved in WF. Is there a way to track this/turn a feature on?

We have a Project with a section of Events our photo and video teams will be shooting at and a section of the finished deliverables that need to come from those Event shoots.Project- Events-- Event A-- Event B- Production Work-- Deliverable 1-- Deliverable 2-- Deliverable 3-- Deliverable 4 I am trying to show the relationship in the report. I was trying to add a field to a form at the Deliverable task with the URL/ID/Name of the Event it is associated with. Then in the report, I was using the listmethod : valueexpression=IF({DE:Associated Event}=???,{name},"") listdelimiter=<p> listmethod=nested(project.tasks).lists valueformat=HTML displayname=Deliverable type=iterate I do not think I can pass in the context of the Event

It really sounds like a dumb question, but hoping others can chime in - am I understanding correctly that if we don't pay for Fusion, we no longer get to connect these applications come February? At

We have started to notice on several projects that the Percent Complete header is displaying 100% when their is still a task left to complete. The parent task is also displaying 100% even though there is still a child task that has been completed yet.  Just looking to see if anyone has had a similar experience. Went ahead and put in a ticket with Support.
