Hi Alison, Thank you for starting this. An Idea I have is to address the dual approval system confusion within the UI/UX. It caused a great deal of strain during implementation, and it could be improved by changing some of the layout or formatting (color, background). Link and Description below, your votes are greatly appreciated! https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115003501154-Workfront-Integrated-Proof-Approvals-UI-UX Thanks, Saher Almaita

Alison, I would like it if idea exchange promotion and discussion was in a different forum, so I would be able to sort the posts by subject and ask further questions. -skye

We have struggled since the beginning of time with Workfront/Attask trying to explain to Review users that they can reply via email, but they cannot send attachments. They must log in. I'm sure others have this issue as well. There's an idea in the idea exchange but isn't getting much traction so I wanted to post here and see if others have input or even suggestions on how to better handle this other than telling them to login. The really bad part is that the end user has no idea it didn't come through as there is no error. And as an internal user, we only know if they actually say "attached". Anyone have work around for this other than custom email parsing code? If not and you struggle like me...Upvote!! :) https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115007074748-Add-ability-to-upload-documents-through-email-replys Stephanie Smith Precision

Hi Alison, Idea : Add ability to upload documents through email replies "https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115007074748-Add-ability-to-upload-documents-through-email-replys?page=1#community_comment_360000498214">https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115007074748-Add-ability-to-upload-documents-through-email-replys?page=1#community_comment_360000498214 Business Case: Users can reply to updates via email. Often times they are responding and supplying an attached document to support their status update. Right now, Workfront completely ignores the attachment and doesn't even indicate to the sender that the doc is attached. Recipients/WF internal users must then follow up and advise the sender to log into the system to upload the document. This process is often very clunky and causes a lot of extra back/forth that would be eliminated if WF accepted the attachment or at least indicated to the sender that attachments can't be accepted. Please Upvote! *** I actually just posted a sep discussion to see if others have input on this and then remembered you created this discussion forum as well so posting here as well (which likely isn't helping your "keep it clean" approach. Sorry - I'll try to remember next time!). Thanks! Stephanie Stephanie Smith Precision

Notification When Dates Change Justification: We need to be able to notify team members when the project planned completion date has been moved out - changed. We need to be able to notify team members if a custom date field is changed - moved out. There are so many in different teams that need to stay abreast of key changes in a project - and that is - when the date has moved out. There is a way to notify team members based on tasks but there is no solution to notify team members based on date fields. Benetta Perry APS

Allow Reporting from status in the Update Feed While you can report on the comments users make to the update stream, Workfront does not allow for reporting on the automatic system updates (like a change in status) that display in the update stream. This restriction is hindering progress and improvements in our cross team communications. We need the ability to report on an automatic system update, which displays in the update stream. Displaying there is very convenient - we must have the ability to pull that data. Benetta Perry APS

It would be great if they could be used in conjunction with date fields in the custom forms instead of just the built-in planned, actual, projected dates on projects, tasks, and issues. For example, we have custom form field for date of deployment for our email marketing campaigns. It would great to have those feed into a calendar. Benetta Perry APS

"https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115000250214-Add-a-Custom-Form-into-a-Custom-Tab" title="Add a Custom Form into a Custom Tab">Add-a-Custom-Form-into-a-Custom-Tab I want to be able to add a custom form to a custom tab in Projects, Programs, Tasks and Issues. This would come in as a useful place for me to store important information related to any of these items, such as: creative briefs, work orders, etc... Further, I'd like this form to be editable in this location. We absolutely need this feature. Currently there is 1 custom tab, which is the sub tab of Project Details. We need more than 1 customizable sub tab, as a medium to large size project with at least 5 custom forms. This makes the custom tab very very long to the point of losing productivity. The workers in workfront do not see the "jump to form" option. As the system administrator, I see this option. At a minimum, this option being available to all, would remove a little of the sting of out of this pain. Benetta Perry APS

Hi Benetta We make an “in market” calendar for our emails by adding the task that is consistently labeled “In Market” in every email Project. For direct mail I also have an “In Market”task and add that to the calendar and use a different color. I also created a calendar for our design team using the field “Release to printer” so they could see their print due dates separately.
