Email Notification of Announcements - Prevent Users From Turning it Off

My Settings > Notifications > Email Notifications

Believe me: I get it. Lots of options are good! And allowing the user to change the options; brilliant!

But one setting should be removed from end user modification:

There are many times when I need to communicate to my entire user base, and getting an email is perfect!

And yes, I know all Announcements live here in Workfront, but my users spend more time in email than in Workfront!

What are your thoughts?

    I agree - I'd like this notification removed from end user modification. I use Announcements to notify all of our users of Workfront enhancmenets, system issues, etc. It's important they receive these messages.

    While I have no problem being pushy and turning these notifications back on for all users, being to lock some in (like when you're tagged in a comment), would be ideal.
