Dynamically display issues on a portfolio

It would be nice to dynamically display all issues for a specific portfolio. If that can't be done, can a new wildcard variable be created for portfolio id or portfolio name. To expand on this, is there a possibility for more wildcard variables to be created against any ID or Name field?
