Can't assign back System Administrator Access Level to a user in Workfront.

I temporarily changed the Access Level of a user to Project Manager in Workfront. After doing that I attempted to revert back to System Administrator but this option had disappeared. Other users still have the System Administrator function.

 

How to set a user back to System Administrator in Workfront?

Hi,

 

It sounds like you are using Adobe Admin Console. If yes, system admin access can only be granted through the Admin Console, it is not done in Workfront.

I'm having the same issue. However, the person IS registered as a system admin in Adobe Console and still Workfront isn't giving me the option to choose in the Access level dropdown menu. How do I fix this?

I opened a tech support ticket for this issue. But thought I would post a comment too in case I get a response quicker.  


Hello @lindag2, Open Adobe Admin Console, and from the top navigation bar, select 'Users'. Enter the username and open the user profile.

Next, edit the 'Admin rights':

Then, turn on Product profile administrator and add the Workfront instance:
