Assigning Layout Templates to Groups

When assigning layout templates, there may be a prompt saying "This assignment will override an existing Layout Template assignment."  Unfortunately, this only applies when assigning and listing individual users. 

Trying to assign the template to a group or team results in the same prompt, but the members of that group or team do not actually inherit the new assignment and retain their prior layout template.
