Assignee notification for Boards

When i create and assign cards on a WF Board, is there a way to notify the user the card was assigned to? Currently the system does not notify those assignees.

Currently, Boards are not natively connected to anything. If you create a connected task or issue, you will get full benefits (notifications, etc.) of the connected task or issue. But you'll get it from the task or issue, not the Boards card.

Plans are to continue to build Boards features to make them fully functional, but for now Boards are still in the early stages.
