Allow notifications for changes in date fields - proj planned completion date

We need to be able to notify team members when the project planned completion date has been moved out - changed. We need to be able to notify team members if a custom date field is changed - moved out. There are so many in different teams that need to stay abreast of key changes in a project - and that is - when the date has moved out. There is a way to notify team members based on tasks but there is no solution to notify team members based on date fields.

    Like this idea! Would be very helpful in communicating to our stakeholders, or project team members, when a date field or custom field (date format) changes.

    On a related note, it would be great if we could report on the Journal object. A scheduled Journal report might even partially meet Benetta's requirement. e.g. A journal report filtered for specific project/s or task/s which looks for changes to a certain field (date / status / custom).
