Allow for status change of Programs

- i.e. close a program when all projects within it are complete

we're using programs like the "drawer in the filing cabinet" model that everyone likes to use. when all of the projects in "drawer" are complete we should be able to change the status of that program so that it doesn't appear in lists / drop downs - right now our program drop down list is getting quite long when attempting to assign a project to a program and we've only been using this system for 6 months.

    We do the same, and our program's list is growing massively.

    I plan to set up a custom field to mark programs as Complete and then apply a filter to be able to hide them within the portfolio list and also filter them in or out of reports etc, so maybe this will help you too in the mean time.

    Ideally, programs would have Status' like projects so they can be marked as Complete or planning etc, which auto sees this as active inactive and have a default Active Programs and All programs list option the same a projects do.

    Agree, we also need to have a Status for our Programs. List is getting long. Need the ability to maintain all information generated throughout the Program history but show as Active, Canceled or Complete. Very important for us and our work.
