Adobe Workfront

What does the community think is the best way to start off in Fusion?  Did everyone just jump right in and start playing?  I have a good background in various programming languages and also Microsoft Power Automate.  I'm trying to deside if I'll need to purchase consultation hrs.    In trhe meantime I am going through the available tutorials. Any advice on how to begin would be greatly appreciated.  

Hi - we use the my projects home screen widget. When we toggle to "Projects I'm On" we get projects we are not assigned tasks on, but are shared with us. Is there a way to filter this out? I want to create a view that is just projects that are either owned by the user or projects where they have assigned work.

Hi All, I am looking at creating a task report. The reason why I would prefer a task report for this is, because we want to make live updates on certain fields pertaining to a task.What I am trying to display? A task may have more than one assignee. For example, Assignee 1 and Assignee 2. 1. Is there a really unique way to group by Assignee. When using the Assigned To as a grouping on a task report, Workfront will only take into consideration the Primary Assignee. I do know on an assignment report it will work as expected, but you can't interact / update any tasks from this report associated with the assignee. 2. If #1 is possible, I want to exclude in some instances assignees not reporting to a manager. For example, if I am the manager and Assignee 1 reports to me, I do not want to see Assignee 2 on the group by.  Not sure if anyone has worked on something towards this. Issue:   We are needing to display all the documents in program and for the associated projects so there is a single source for our Program/Project Managers to view the appropriate information.      Is this possible to display all documents associated with a program/project? Scenario/Question 1: In the Documents link on the program, this appears to only display the Program level documents and nothing else.  Is there a way to turn on the ability to display downstream project/task documents here, similar to how task documents show on a project Documents area? Scenario/Question 2: Is there a way to display the dashboard with a report that filters the results? Created and applied a dashboard/report on a programAll projects/programs are showing up in this report instead of just the program specific projects and a notice that says the report can't be filtered by program.  (Image attached)We could create a prompt, but that would then requ

Hi all!I'm customizing my project task-level view. I know that I can change the color of a parent or grandparent task's row by setting conditional formatting (task's Number of Children > 0). However, I'm looking to set parents and grandparents to different colors. The Number of Children variable tells you how many subtasks there are... not useful here. I need a variable that denotes the "level" of a task (ex. task=1, parent=2, grandparent=3, greatgrandparent=4). I'm fairly comfortable with text mode and API basics but just can't figure this one out 😞Extra credit portion: Ideally I'd like to flip parent+ task rows into white text on dark backgrounds, but rich text fields don't change color. Is there a way to override that?Thanks in advance!!

Hi Community, I'm wondering if there's a tag somewhere on users that capture not only their last login date and their total login count, but also which days they logged in on. I'm trying to build a month-to-month report showing when our users are more active. Does anyone know? Thanks!

Hi All,I'm calling for Black Belt Fusion experts, hoping for help with resolving this mystery. I have a custom form (with loads of fields) on the Issue object in WF. I have a Fusion Scenario that I need to run when one of these fields (FIELD2) is updated on an existing issue, or a new issue is created with this field populated.The filters defined for the webhook look like this:Record type: Issue State: New state Filters: DE:FIELD1 EQUAL Yes AND DE:FIELD2 Changed AND connection updates included Record Origin: New and Updated Records When I CREATE a new issue that matches the filters, 2 events are fired: one "CREATE" and one "UPDATE" event. So my scenario runs twice and I can't figure out why.The Fusion scenario does not update FIELD2, so the 2nd event is not triggered by Fusion itself. I checked the data in the output bundle of the "Watch event" Fusion module in both runs and found the following:- The "newState" data is exactly the same in the CREATE event and in th

Whenever we have an error, we call a webhook to store the error in Workfront, so we can track the errors. However, if we use the retry error handler, we get duplicate errors. We would like to identify these duplicates and ignore them. The execution ID increments, so we can't use that value to see if an error is a duplicate. We don't know of any other ID variable to tie these executions together. We need some way to know if an execution is a RETRY of a previous execution. Any ideas welcome! 

What does the error mean -The Home Workspace service is currently unavailable? Is there anything we can do as an Admin or is this a system issue? If the latter, is it being addressed? 

Using the Workfront module-Upload Document it requires a related Record ID BUT using the API you don't need that.I don't have a related record ID, I just want to upload the file. How do you upload a file without that record ID?

Has anyone created or know how to create a report for the Personal Time Off Calendar...without using Fusion?I would like a report that shows each user and the days they marked off on their Personal Time Off Calendar. 

I have asked this in the past,  and there never seems to be a good response. We need a report that will say something on the lines of:- Show me all of the project a list of people worked on, grouped by person.- The list of people would be driven by Team IDs We DO NOT:1. An assignment report that shows all of the tasks someone was assigned. We just want it at the project level2. We DO NOT want to create a dashboard that would be one report per person.Overall:We just want to be able to see the number of projects someone supported but in a report that shows everyone within that group. I would be baffled if we cannot do this, it seems to be a pretty simple project management tool ask....

I currently have a report that lists Milestones under each corresponding Project. I would like to recreate this report only in a horizontal layout (matrix?) where column heading is the milestone name and each row is a different project name.Any suggestions?

Hi,  Does anyone know if we can capture the length of time an issue/task/project has spent in each status throughout the course of the object being open to close? I know I can create a calculated field for 1 status, example : time stamped for when it was changed to in progress.  Is there a way to have one field that would show the timestamp for each status such as On Hold, Awaiting Feedback etc... or do I need to create separate fields for each status? Thank you!
