Adobe Target

Hi guys we have an issue where we two /delivery calls competing with each other and depending on which one finishes first, the wrong content is displayed.1. the default initial target call2. a getOffer call which is listening to the at-library-loaded event to trigger If the initial target call goes through first, the offer from the second call is shown - OKShould the initial call be finished after the getOffer call has finished and applyOffer been executed, it hides the offer content and shows the default content - BAD Are we listening to the wrong event? Is there something like "all mboxes ready" event which we could listen to instead?Or any proven approach that would work here? CheersBjörn

Hi all! I am new to Target, and the customer owns Target Premium. We have a couple of use cases  for which we have doubts.. -Cross/Up Sale with related products (looks). Test A/B to show related products the user is going to buy and whether show them in the shopping cart or in the check out. For this use case we need to filter out the categories. There will be products for which will be difficult to generate a related product which will be an upsale.  - Web Push to returning visitor who has left a shopping cart showing a message or highlighting the shopping cart icon in a different color.  Any idea of the feature/s most adequate to tackle these use cases, via recommendations and test a/b combination? With a visitor profile and or a profile script?Help is appreciated!Regards,Marcus

Hi, I'm creating an experience activity based on the condition if my URL contains this tag "sc_cid=123abc123" and I will serve them a banner on my site. I'm using a media agency to deploy the static banner where this will then drive traffic to my site with the tag, i.e. the URL that was embedded in the static banner click-through was http://www.mywebsite.com/en/home/?sc_cid=123abc123&dclid=dgggggaahh1222 so rightfully in my audience profile I state if the "Current URL" "contains" "sc_cid=123abc123" it will show the banner. Is there a reason why the banner is not showing up? Regards, Jansen

I just viewed the video on using dataProvider with the weather api. It set a mbox parameter and then based off that mbox parameter, we tell the activity to qualify a particular offer. What I'm trying to do is use dataProvider to grab HTML from a 3rd party and then use that HTML as my offer on a page. Can this be done? It looked more like it just set parameters for an activity qualifier. Example: I have HTML banners for all different screen sizes elsewhere. Based on a users screen size parameter, they qualify for an offer and I want to grab the HTML from my 3rd party host and place it on my page. All help is appreciated! Thanks

I've been using AEM to make XFs to export to Target. The more variations and complex things get, I've made several folder paths and some variations share names, but in different folders. Example: I have folders for production, staging, and qa. Under each folder, I have copies of XFs for my devs to work with. When I export an XF to Target, I'd like to export the file structure to Target. Is there a way for this to happen? For instance I export "xf_1" under the QA folder, in Target I want to go into 'Offers > QA > xf_1" to get to it. I'm trying to save time from having to make new folders in Target and move the offers when I've already done so in AEM. Also when I bring the XFs over to Target, I can only view them in the 'default workspace'. I have a prod and qa workspace, but I don't know how to make them appear in those spaces. Any assistance with how to make that work would be greatly apprecaited. THANKS!

I'm able to use the replace method on an entity property: #set ($pageUrl = $entity1.pageUrl.replace(".com", ".org")) I want to get a substring of the property also.  Specifically, I want to insert characters before a trailing slash.  I'm wanting to do something like this: #set ($pageUrl = "$entity1.pageUrl.substring(0, $entity1.pageUrl.length()-1).new/") Can this be done somehow?  If so, where's it documented?

I'm trying to figure out if I can use or create an mbox in Target to run a multi-page test and have it work like URL refinements. Example: I have 100 products and I want to run a banner on 50 of the products. Product URLs have unique IDs and the URLs are not very SEO friendly.Example URL: '/lang/product/unqId123/product-name'  ---- Ideal URL: '/lang/product/shared-path/product-name' Because of the unique ID, I'd have to target ALL products using the url that has '/lang/product' in the URL. Is it possible to create an mbox like 'target-mbox-myTestName' and use that mbox on only the products/pages I'm looking to target w/o using a URL refinement?

We have the Adobe Standard Licence. We are looking to understand what options we have to dynamically setup up Target experiences based on a set number of parameters.To date we have been able to set up static experiences and would now like to explore other more complex scenarios.For example, we typically setup Target experiences that are simple, and fairly static, if User has X number of Points Balance, then display X version of this image/text.These experiences can be planned out ahead of time, as we know exactly what the page should look like when User matches the Audience Rules. We now want to try the following, There are X number of Offers available. User A, User B, User C, etc, could be presented with different combinations of these offers, based on multiple user profile data (ie: Points + Tier level + Affinity). I guess what we want to know if it's possible to do this in a scalable way that

Hi Team, We are firing a custom mbox through adobe.getOffer through the page and this mbox fires post firing of global mbox call. The custom mbox has the profile parameter and we are using this parameter to target the audience in an activity on the same page(page where the custom mbox is firing).In the first visit since the profile paramter is not available (custom mbox call fires post the global ) so visitor is not qualifying for the audience and hence default experience loads in first visit however for all subsequent visits on this page, visitor is qualifying.Is there any ways we can target visitors in the first visit itself? Regards,Ambika

I have an A/B test run on my client site, but it has not achieved the significant number of visitors within the estimated time period for the test. Can anyone confirm if we could run the test for more number of days to achieve the significant/estimated number of sample size? If so, how many number of maximum days we could run the test further? And can we able to get the significant test results with running it for additional days than the initial estimation?Thanks in Advance!

we are planning to use this attribute in AEM content to display vallue dynamically  "${profile.preferredCurrency}");.  How can display this value more gracefully like if there is no value in this ttaribute I would like to show default value from content.  Any sugesstions/ideas how to handle that. Thank YouUma
