Adobe Target

Hi Community, We were running activity on PDP and a week ago we have paused it. However, we are still seeing activity getting triggered on the page and making UI changes. What could be the possible reason for this? Thanks in advance.

Trying to run A/B test. First time got different content for all the experiences that I created. But now getting the same content for all the experiences. How to trouble shoot this?

Hi WE have setup both VEC and form based Auto personalisation activities, however we cannot see any of the experiences render with the preview links. Inspections shows the offer coming in with empty array, so the html offers are not returned in the response. We get the same if we throw the activity live too. The activities have an all visitor audience, so there are no other restrictions as to why they are not returning.  Any idea anyone? is there a config switch we missed somewhere? 

Normally we will write tests with vanilla JS utilising the DOM. All our HTML elements are module based, in that we have a 'basic' HTML mark-up and if it's dynamic (show/hide, tabbed content, modals etc), our framework will see a new module added from Target and will generate and update the HTML so it works. We have another website that has been written by an external company and they write the pages in JS and then React JS and Chakra UI will generate "on the fly" the HTML and CSS server side. They don't have a basic HTML that we could inject like our main sites, so whilst we can interrogate the DOM and add static content, any dynamic content we can't just copy and paste from an existing generated DOM as it would need injected CSS, JS to deal with the specific class names and IDS. We don't seem to have a ready recommendation in the company to handle React objects without going server-side. HI all, sometimes i use the desktop browser to look at mobile sites as i wanted to see what console.log turns out. However i discovered that if i set either browser name or mobile device/phone to true for audience settings, my js code will not work, but will work if i do not set any such restrictions. I assume that its because mobile view on desktop browser is complicated and does not fall in either category. If so, what is the correct setting to use for my situation?

I was facing some issues with target for quite sometime. Created an XT in target with three experiences and changed the HTML using VEC.I had changes in three locations, but when activated, one of the updated content was delivering twice, where the rest were all good.The issue was not observed in the VEC preview mode, only in the live page.Verified/Rechecked the modifications, found no issues.Any inputs on why the target would deliver the content twice would be helpful? Any previous experiences where someone has faced this before.  

I'm facing the following issue with an SPA:Context:At implementation level in Launch, I'm initializing Target on page load and firing a triggerView on History Change (in two different rules, both using Target v2 Extension events).The SPA root is root/The intended Page Delivery for my activity is root/item/1Issues:When I set Page Delivery in Target activity to be root/item/1, it only gets activated on page load and not when navigating from the SPA root/.In this last case, by debugging using the Mbox Trace the intended activity doesn't appear in the Evaluated ActivitiesMy guess here is because the last page load was made in /root then the activities with Page Delivery set as root/item/1 won't even be evaluated here because of the Server-side decisioning.By setting the Page Delivery url as the SPA root/ and refreshing the page in root/item/1 the expected modifications get applied, however when navigating from the SPA /root the expected modifications are not applied.In this last

We'd like to test out Target Recommendations on our blog. To start, we only want the recommendations to show up on a few articles and measure engagement before scaling. We'd also like to only start with a few articles to recommend - not our entire library/catalog. How would I go about setting that up as it relates to the criteria? There doesn't seem to be a way to just evenly rotate the inventory on a handful of articles rather it has to be cart/person-based.

Dear All, I want to understand whether it is a good practice to add prehide snippet on the page only when we have consent from the user. In my case if we add event listener (for checking the cookie consent )for prehide snippet and load it when we have collected the response from the user, we face flicker issues and the original intent of placing prehide snippet is not achieved. If we use prehide snippet without collecting consent from the user , we are able to fix flicker issue. PS- We are taking consent for loading target and analytics calls , this question is specific to only prehide snippet. 

I currently have an activity that stored product information into the localStorage ~ This is all done through Javascript (custom code option). I then read from the local storage and display a popup with the product information on other pages.Is there a way to move away from localStorage and instead store the product information in Adobe Target instead?If so, how would I go about this?I've had a look at profile scripts, thinking that I could send a json object to the profile script to either save a new value or just return what it has stored.I've looked at mboxes and some adobe.target functions. None of which do what I want or at least I don't think it does. I've looked at the targetPageParams() function, but I'm not sure how this works. 

In an A/B test , the winner is shown. I am having a doubt, checking the report of an AB test, "all qualified visitor" audience that is present default in AT goals and settings mismatches with the sum up of all account types that we have added as an audience to this activity for reporting. I am attaching the screenshot here for reference.   Here, B2B approver, B2B customer, Adminlite, B2B admin, B2C sums up gives the all visitor. All visitors for this activity will be falling under in any one of these. There is no other account type we have in this project. I have highlighted the order section in the image, there is a difference of 1297 orders. Help to know from where this 1297 orders are getting placed.Thanks ,Damini Mohan

Hello Experts,Hope you are doing well!Is it possible to read key-value pairs from browser (LocalStorage, SessionStorage or Cookies) and use any of them for Audience Segmentation in Adobe Target? I tried with a particular key-value pair from Local Storage via Profile Script, I could create a segment with custom (mbox). However, I would like to check if we can read all key-value pairs from LocalStorage (or even SessionStorage or Cookies)? Thank you in advance! Best,K

Hi Team, We have implemented Target Server side using Delivery API and our website follows AEM headless architecture. Wanted to check for the below queries -1. Will there be any usecases where we will require QA urls to preview the experience or since its server-side and headless, QA urls will not make sense.2. Will debugging parameters like mboxTrace/mboxDebug/mboxDisable will also not be required in case of server-side and headless implementation Regards,Disa

Is there anyway to view the current version of Target Standard/Premium that my organization is on? I understand it is a SaaS solution and version updates are applied automatically. However for documentation and other internal processes, it would be helpful if there is a way to view the current version of a given Target instance, especially since, per, the Target release notes, it appears as if most releases are staggered. For example, I could probably assume our Target instance is on version 22.6.1, but is there any way, whether through the UI itself, in an HTTP header, the page source or elsewhere, where this can be confirmed?Thanks.

Hi all, I am new to Adobe Target and i found myself with this problem where the documentation does not cover. My companys site uses the same URL for both desktop and mobile sites, but the mobile version is not responsive so i cannot use mobile viewports. However i cannot find any option to load the mobile version of a website while making the activity, thus all my activities can only work for desktop version. Does anyone know how i can choose the non-responsive mobile website when i make a new activity? Thank you.

Currently we have an Adobe Target Experiment active on our site for an A/B experience. It seems to fail to load the experience on the initial load of the website (we have cleared all cookies/cache/history). However, when we refresh the page, Adobe Target successfully loads the experiment in either A or B experience.  Any suggestions as to what could be causing this to happen? Why does Adobe Target experience only begin to load after a refresh?   

Hello, I'm new to Adobe Target, so this may be a basic question.If I have multiple activities set up to deliver content on the same page to the same audience, can I control when a user sees one activity as opposed to another?For example, say I have activity 1 and activity 2 with overlapping audiences that deliver content to the same page. Can I set a rule that says that if a user has never visited the page before he will see activity 1? After the visitor sees activity 1 three times, then he will see activity 2 going forward?Assuming this is possible, does this go against best practices? Should collisions be avoided as a general rule?Thanks,Keith

We’re running into an issue with the recommenders with our SPA (Singe Page Application) implementation using ReactJS.  The problem is that recommenders only show in the SPA when the page is refreshed.  This seems to be related to how the different calls are being made into target. For the initial load of a page, the page load request is sent but for all subsequent pages, just the triggerView call is sent.   This is because for a SPA the page doesn’t reload, it just changes the content in the views.  In my testing it seems that ONLY the page load request seems to load the recommenders, not the triggerView.  I did some debugging of the launch code and it seems to have confirmed it.  When trigger view is called, it just tries to load and view changes out of the local cache and then tries to render it.  For something like an A/B test there are changes present and are rendered accordingly.  For recommenders however, there isn’t an entry stor

Hello community, I do have a few questions related to the target activities in AA.I created a dozen of activities in target, tested with them, waited for a few days already. 1. some activities still don't show up in the dropdown list. Does report suite configuration matter?2. some deleted activities are still shown up in the dropdown list. I would like to get rid of them...3. is there anyway that I can "hide/ignore" the activities from a specific target workspace.
