Adobe Target

Hello,I ran activity 1 for a few days before deactivating it a month earlier. After making minor traffic modifications and taking the cloned activity-2 live, I made a copy of that second activity.The problem is that I'm still receiving 1%–2% of page views for activity 1 even if it is Inactive.Note: activity is running in apps.- Any idea/suggestions as to why inactive activity continues to collect data?Thanks in advance!

Hi All, I have setup a custom code in one of the activities to fire a custom mbox and I am trying to track that in the conversion settings as viewed an mbox and selecting the parameters passed in audience refinement and checking the value. Created a simple A/B Activity in a brand new Target account (not historical activities etc).  I picked my personal website that currently does NOT have at.js deployed. Using VCE, I modified a paragraph for Experience A and Experience B.  Activated the activity.  Then on Activity QA , clicked Experience A, it opens my personal site with token etc, however shows original experience (neither experience A or B, as modified using VCE).    This is on Chrome latest browser, have Adobe Target VCE Helper.  Tried all sorts of things including clearing caches, token empty etc.  Still cannot get the Experience A or B into QA url.    Further, installed and configured Adobe Platform Debugger plugin for Chrome.  It shows at.js 2.10.0 injected by the VCE Helper plugin. For Target logs it shows "AT: No actions to be rendered".  Also inspected the network call to "delivery" api and response DOES NOT contain an expected "executions" json block.&

Hello Friends, I just want to learn a thing about activities. On my web page there is a target A/B activity. Normaly It should be one "delivery" package on network tab with a unique activity ID. However on the page there are 4 "delivery" packages which have same activity ID. It seems like corruption. Could you please help about that. Thank you in advance friends

Hi Guys,I use Adobe Target on an e-commerce website. I am order confirmation mbox to get order details for a test. Currently, I am passing only three parameters (order id, order total & productPurchaseID) in the mbox as suggested in the documentation - Create an Order Confirmation mbox - at.js I tried passing more than three parameters in the mbox but they do not show in the audit report or the API report. Is there a way that I can add more than three parameters in this mbox like productName, productCategory and get them in the audit report or using the Target API?Appreciate your help!Regards,Suchindra Kala

I am really novice in Adobe Target, so please be gentle here!   We are looking to integrate Adobe Target on a new website and have the ability to view results in either Target or AA (via A4T).  When we use the global mbox, all is well - no issues seeing activities/results in either area.  However, we are trying to utilize different custom mboxes per website.  We believe we have the custom mbox setup properly - worked with Adobe consultants on setting this in Launch via a call to adobe.target.getOffers(...):adobe.target.getOffers({request: {execute: {mboxes: [{index: 0,name: "custom-mbox-name-here"}]}}});The custom mbox is now showing up in Adobe Target for usage - so far, so good!  However, when we use a custom mbox, we never see the Activity populate over in Adobe Analytics.  Not sure where to go to troubleshoot.  I guess the first question might be:  does A4T work with custom mboxes?  Thanks, in advance,Jason

Hello, We are implementing the integration using the Target Delivery API and I need to send the Supplemental Data Id to ensure the integration with the Analytics. I cannot find where the supplemental data id is coming from. As I understood, the SDID should be different for each request, is that correct? How can I generate one before the request? Thanks! Br, Nikita

Hi Team,   I would like to skip the entity.Id if its attribute (entity.offerId) has already been shown in the recommendations. Is there a way to limit the number of products on a recommendations carousel that are from the same brand? For instance, if I only want 2 or 3 products max from an specific brand on my carousels, is there a way to make possible without manually excluding products? Thank you

We implemented Target API in our server-side application (it handles the cross-sell module e.g. in checkout). We were not able to find a straightforward way to generate new visitor ids so we are relying on an ECID that is generated in storefront by Visitor ID Service implemented through Launch. As a result, we are able to test on visitors who had at least one page view before entering a test. I have 2 questions:1) Do you see any flaws in the implementation described below that could have unwanted consequences (e.g. double visitor counting)?2) How can we generate a valid tntId, sessionID and ECID fully server-side? 1. Hello!  We integrated AEM with Target but are not exporting the AEM experience as a fragment to Target, instead, are using AEM as the source in Target and it seems A4T is not working.  Does anyone have any pointer on what might have caused this?  Thank you!    -b

Hello everyone. I'm working on a project where I have to dynamically change the text of a set of buttons across a site for an A/B test. The problem I am facing is the content is dynamically generated with a script in the body of the HTML, so whenever I try to update with custom code, it runs in the head and does not update the content. Does anyone have any suggestions or has performed a similar function in a test in Target?

Hi Team,   We are implementing Adobe Target on Mobile App using the below documentation. https://developer.adobe.com/client-sdks/documentation/adobe-journey-optimizer-decisioning/   We have multiple activities on total 4 decision scopes. Issue – Optimize.onPropositionUpdate() keep incrementing the callback as many times as we fire updatePropositions for a specific decision scope. The relationship should be 1:1 whereas it keep changing to 1:2 , 1:3 , 1:4 and so on. So, on the first updateProposition() method call, we get the single response with the content of the activity.   On second updateProposition() method call, we get the same content twice in the response and so on.   Please let me know if there are any resolutions to just get the most recent responses instead of duplicated responses every time updateProposition gets called.

The QA URL for the SPA target activity, which was a modification applied for the first time only, is working correctly as expected. If we reload the QA URL page, the changes are not applied.   We are new to SPA implementation. kindly help us to sort out this.

I've recently been working on a new implementation of Analytics/Target via the AEP Web SDK, and am in the process of configuring some new activities.  In the past, I've used profile scripts as an easy way to handle complex audience parameters that need some sort of calculation or persistence, but I don't see anything in the documentation that addresses how to reference XDM data in the profile script editor.  Is this even an option with the Web SDK, and if so how would I reference the XDM data when building a script?

Hi all,    we are trying to configure an A/B test changing the pictures order of a carousel component handled by boostrap.    Are there best practices to manage the flicker issue apart of the pre-hiding snippet? Because we are trying to implement it on our site but doesn't help with the rendering of the images.  The component we are modifying with the VEC is a bootstrap carousel, so are there any consideration to do when working with a dynamic component as this is?    Thanks 🙂
