Adobe Target

Hello Community, I'm having trouble getting started with Recommendations to show on our site. I have a content feed and when using the debugger I keep seeing a NO_CONTENT code in the response. Does anyone know what are some next steps to display the items from my CSV feed?

In the current People core services setup for a client, we already have an existing customer attributes schema which is uploading 65 customer attributes along with the data within that. Subscriptions are also added for Target and Analytics, where we are sending all of these 65 customer attributes to Target as well.As part of a use case, we need to add 5 new customer attributes to the schema. Here are few questions we have:Is it possible to edit the existing schema to add 5 new customer attributes, so that the existing schema has a total of 70 customer attributes?  As per the documentation in experienceleague, it is possible to edit the existing schema, but I do not see any option to do it in the UIWhat is the best approach to address this scenario?Is there any way to download an existing customer attribute schema (which has 65 attributes)?Is there any way to export/download the list of customer attributes being used in Adobe Target ? Hi Currently I have the setCustomerId used to pass Customer ID (user login id) to Adobe Target, because of which Target experiences are different for a first time user & a logged in user. Similar to the example given here - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/target/using/audiences/visitor-profiles/3rd-party-id.html?lang=en I'm looking to update this implementation so that mbox3rdPartyId is equivalent to the ECID or some other method where ECID is prioritised over the Declared ID(i.e. login id), which would lead to more consistent experiences for users within the same session. What are the different methods of doing that?I know it's not recommended to change a mbox3rdPartyId setup so what would be some implications of this? Looking to understand so I have a full picture before making the change Thanks

We're running an A/B test, as the analyst monitoring the test, I'm seeing some users (one or two) appear to have been included in the Control Group but participated in an event activity that should only be visible in the Challenger group.  In this case, they clicked on a custom main nav link that was added only to the Challenger group. The test should be set up to exclude users in one test group from seeing the other.  What might be causing this to happen?  I did not set up the test but am an analyst.  Again, it's only 1 or 2, but if the users were in the Challenger group, why are they falling under the Control counts? To add context there is personalization XT being applied to a subset of pages that could fall into the A/B test. But the challenger and control will see it equally. Could this be interfering with the A/B test? Thanks, Michelle 

I want to understand how Adobe Target reads the digital data layer. From one of my experiences, I was trying to pass page title from a data layer While I used reading via javascript variable it did not work for me: However, reading it as a core attribute worked Why this is the case? Also, I have pages with multi-product categories and they get passed into my data layer in the form of an array, and through JS code I am already successfully reading it via data element into eVars for my analysis. However, when I am trying to map this multi-product categories data element to user.categoryId to pass it as a Target mbox parameter for every page load nothing comes up in my favorite categories. Any suggestions as to why? This is why I am wondering how to read values out of the digital data layer into data elements for Target?

Hello!  For some tests, we want to ensure that visitors see a consistent experience across different devices.  We know how to do that for authenticated users.  Has anyone found a successful method for doing this for unauthenticated visitors?Thanks!

I want to trigger / start an Activity when visitor generates an add_to_cart event. The event is fire as I can see in the Adobe Experience Platform Debugger. In the POST body I see the following JSON:{ "events": [ { "xdm": { "web": { "webInteraction": { "linkClicks": { "value": 1 }, "name": "addToCart" } }, } } ] } I tried making an audience where that parameter is equal to addToCart but this doesn't seem to work.How do I activate the Activity when this event is fired?

Hi Community, I have to create experience targeting where I have banners changed for 3 different experiences based on the audience. I wanted to know the scope of changes we can make in the target experience. For example, if changed banners don't have any CTA button like "Learn More" or "Explore" & I want to add them on banners then can we do that through edits in Experiences? Is it a good practice or we should have the component made at the backend which has a CTA button and rename them in different experiences? How far we can make changes to the HTML page?

Let's say there's a marketing professional who doesnt know any or little javascript. How can that individual use adobe target and create complex use cases? Is there any way to do that? or is it possible to do so without any javascript?

Hi Community,  We were recently run a A/B Testing for 2 weeks and it is announced the winner. We tried to explore the reports, we have used the segmentation ( Desktop Device and Mobile Devices) for audience for reporting . Seems most of the users comes from Mobile device. But when we check the data, it is mismatching between overall data.  for Eg: Scenario 1: Overall traffic: 100 visitors Mobile Device: 80 visitors Desktop Device: 40 visitors  Overall traffic should be 120 visitors?  for Eg: Scenario 2: Overall traffic: 80 visitors Mobile Device: 100 visitors Desktop Device: 20 visitors  Overall traffic should be 120 visitors?  Below is the segmentation of audience we have been used. Hi,We have just integrated AEM with adobe target to push content from AEM to target. My question is as AEM also offers personalisation so we can also create an activity in AEM and push it to target to implement personalisation but which one is recommended either create and activity directly in target or create one in AEM push it to target. Hello team.Have a question about best practices on A4T reporting using Activity Conversions/Impressions vs. Activity Conversions/Impressions Same Touch. When you use A4T, the report defaults to 'Activity conversions' based on the Goal I've set up for the test (e.g., click on the button by selecting/highlighting a link/button). If I don't break down the Exp by Canonical URL, it gives a misleading information because the total number of Activity conversions includes other conversions (not the goal metric/conversion) including not only on the activity URL but also other pages  that users view within that Experience. So it is important to actually break it down by the URL to see the true conversion on the activity URL. But also, have an ability to review other URLs in the report in case there is a valuable insight. There is also an option to update the default Activity Conversion to 'Same Touch' attribution model that gives 100% credit to the very hit where the conversi

Hi all, I'm interested in targeting users with activities based on the previous page they visited, or the referring page (would be from the same domain).  With audiences using Site Pages > Referring URL, or Previous Page -  it supposedly only works if a user CLICKS to the page.Using Analytics to create a segment introduces too much of a delay. I want a visitor coming from a specific page to be targeted immediately. What's the best way to handle this? Also - how do you QA Site Pages > Previous Page - when you need to CLICK from another page in order to qualify as the audience?    Thank you!    

With the latest release of adobe target on 21 Oct 2023 my target activities are not working in VEC. I am not able to create activity in adobe target.After creating any activity when i try to save that nothing happens and give an error in console "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'isMultiPageActivity')" and when i try to reload the page it through an error  "Failed to fetch CSS selectors settings." In console i am getting error  Please guide me how to fix this.  

Can I have 2 personalised experiences in one activity if each experience is on a different webpage and the audience is different for each experience? Or do I have to create separate activities? Thanks.

There is an A/B/n test in which there are 3 experiences - Control, Var1, Var2. As I create its A4T reporting, I am using the dimension Target activities and then I broke it down with Target Activity > Experiences. Now for further analysis I tried breaking down the Target Activity > Experiences dimension with Page URL dimension and what I saw was, there are many extra URLS other than the actual activity URL. If I have created the activity with only 1 page URL, let's say - Page A, then I should just see the URL of Page A in my A4T reporting. Why do I see the other page URLS in the reporting?

How can we build recommendation activity to recommend content like whitepapers, & blogs on the basis of product category affinity? What does it involve to implement?
