Hello all,I am currently trying to set-up an Adobe Target demo on a local AEM 6.4 instance. I integrated AEM with Target using Adobe Launch and currently have it set-up with the following rules:This was done following this tutorial and I added a message box at the end notifying me when the actions have run for debugging purposes: https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/aem_adobetarget_integration.htmlIntegrating Adobe Experience Manager with Adobe Target using Adobe Launch In Adobe Target, I have set-up an A/B test that is pointing at [http://localhost:4502/content/we-retail/us/en.html] and changed both Experience A and B to say "Shop Later" and "Shop Tomorrow" respectively.After setting this all up and integrating my local instance with Launch, I navigated to the page and the message box appears successfully as shown below but the "Shop Now" button is still there when neither of my experiences have that. Hi Team,We are facing one issue with Autocomplete when using Search and Promote. We are using S&P autocomplete url with query parameter and it gives autocomplete options.Issue we are facing is for Russian characters -If we search for Кукуруза, it does not give autocomplete suggestion though same value lies under title meta tag (auto title metadata as well)but when we search for кукуруза, it gives suggestions under autocomplete.Kindly update if there is any issue with Russian characters (caps one)Thanks,Neha

Hello. We plan to use smart crop functionality of Scene7 in our Adobe Target activities so that our designers do not have to do manual work on cropping images. The documentation at https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/target/using/administer/scene7-settings.html states that "This functionality is not allowed, as per contract." - it is not very clear what this phrase refers to. The reasons are that the following concepts mentioned in it are not clear: "public image URL", "storage URL", "final publish URLs". And here is a snippet that we possibly mistakenly understand: "There is no way to obtain the published URL of an image uploaded into the Experience Cloud to consume directly or outside of targeting workflows using Adobe Target.". It is incomprehensible for the same reason, because the concept of "published URL" is unclear.

Hello, We have a series of category pages on our e-comm site. Each page can be sorted/filtered different ways. With each sort/filter the URL changes. How can I test the variations of this same URL to a single audience? I have tried setting up as A/B test, but the page delivery only allows for a single URL. I have tried using experience targeting, where I can add additional pages, but since the audience is the same, I can't add a second experience with the same audience but different URL. URL #1: https://shop.lww.com/medicine/c/1?sortBy=tenant~publicationdate%2bdesc&facetValueFilter=tenant~isprimary%3atrue& URL #2: https://shop.lww.com/medicine/c/1?facetValueFilter=tenant~isprimary:true&sortBy=tenant~purchasedtotal1+desc (default) Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,Heather Walls 

Hello. We used VEC to create Automated Personalization. But with time page markup have been changed and now the CSS selectors don't work. While using VEC for A/B test there was a side panel containing a list of modifcations, from there it was possible to alter the selectors. But in case of Automated Personalizations it doesn't show up. The question: How can we fix CSS selectors for Automated Personalization ?

We currently have two campaigns running on two different sites with the same exact setup. These tests target our mobile PDPs and simply resizes the images/ restyles the image carousel on those pages. The traffic is currently split 50%/50% on both campaigns, which is reflecting correctly in our unique visitor count. However, when we look at the visits, the split is a 65%/35% split for both campaigns, with the experience seeing the larger amount of visits than the control. Typically with every other A/B test that we have run, the visits count is also split 50/50 like the unique visitor count. With this one test in particular being run on both brands, the visits split is off which is causing a serious issue with our reporting, as our cart additions metric is also off and this is our main KPI for this test. We have the same test setup as other similar tests that have run, but have never before experienced this issue. Any thoughts on this?

Can we fetch active running target activities on a page in AEM Author programatically while author is editing a page and then notify the author through alert that activity is running on the current page.

Hi all,  I'm currently running an A/B image test and want to know if there is any way to add alt text to the image I'm testing within adobe target? We would usually have alt text added on our backend but since we are testing the image through Target we can't add it like that.  Has anyone else ran into this and if so, how what were the steps you took to add alt text? Thanks!

Hi all, We tested an activity using Auto-Allocate which has ended successfully. Now, we want to run it as an always-on activity using Auto-Target. I was hoping I would just be able to amend the AA campaign and change the traffic allocation to AT, however traffic allocation isn't editable anymore. So we created a copy of the AA campaign (the original AA campaign isn't active anymore but was working perfectly fine, including preview links) and changed the traffic allocation to being Auto-Target in the copy. However, the preview links don't trigger the experience anymore and we can't see the change appear whatsoever. What do you think is happening? Please help! Thanks,Millie

We have many Target activities running on our website, and there are some that are no longer necessary. Would leaving those activities on impact the overall performance of the website, or the page it is running on? Example: An activity generates a small button on a page that is only accessible with a specific query string parameter. The query string parameter is no longer possible to generate, so the Target activity is not accessible anymore, however is still Active/Live. Would it still impact the performance of the page?

I want to create an A/B test for visitors who click on a specific link that will redirect them to the activity url. Let's assume that visitors who click on a button that reads 'Shop Cars' on the homepage will redirect to a page that displays a  listing of cars. I want to create a test where half of the visitors who clicked on my button will instead redirect to a page that contains curated assortment of cars from a specific brand. The issue that currently exists is that visitors have more than one way to qualify for my activity. They are currently able to redirect to the activity URL by clicking on the 'Shop Cars' link on the navigation menu, but I specifically would only want to track the visitors who clicked on the button located within the homepage.  In regards to metrics, I would want to measure the number of car listings viewed for visitors who only clicked on my button on the homepage. Is there anyway for me to pass a parameter or an indicat

Hi, Using a custom profile script, that reads when a visitor has visited a specific URL It will then create & return a score. By default the score is 0, if the visitor lands on the page, the score would then increment by 1, Then by using audience rules I can then say after a visitor has seen the experience more than 2 times don't show the experience.  I want the score to be cleared when a users session has finished, so when they return to the site their score defaults back to 0.As this is based off the Visitor Profile, I would have to wait until the Visitor Profile is refreshed (14 days by default) for the score to default back to 0.If I was to use user.isNewSession  and each time its true, it then re-sets the profile score back to 0. Does this mean after 30 mins of the Visitor not being active it will re-set my score?Or is their an easier way to have the Profile Scripts fire once by individual Visit, not by the Visitors Profile?

I am trying to run a simple test on my website:  Changing the background color of a CTA button.  Unfortunately, when using the QA links or pushing the test live in Staging, I cannot see the test (even tried putting my audience at 99% of traffic out of frustration).  My gut tells me the immediate popup asking to "Know your location" is somehow interfering with the ability to test on my website.Has anyone experienced this issue?  Can you help with a workaround?  Thanks!

Hi  I have been stumped by a question here at my company and I wonder if anyone could suggest an approach. My colleague wants to target an A/B test specifically at users of their-own profile pages. Let me give some context: Our website Mendeley has profile pages for our users like this one for Victor... https://www.mendeley.com/profiles/victor-henning You and I can view that profile, its public so to speak, but there is another use case, we'd like to optimise around users viewing their own profile's/ My question is how can I run an A/B test so that when Victor views his profile page, he is targetted in the A/B test?As said above we'd like to run an A/B test for users looking at their own profile pages PS:We track these views in Adobe Analytics,  "ownprofile:yes" in the (longer) value of content detail [v104]. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance     

Hi All, I have an SPA website and mostly used form based composer. Can I achieve my target usecases using javascript logic and deliver the experience ? or do I need to use triggerView() even in the form based composer also ? I have created a test activity and can see the experience rendering. So just wanted to check if I don't use triggerView it wont impact the page performance. Any suggestions in this regards would be very hepful. Thank you.

I would like to find a way to create or update a mbox and it's parameters from within VEC and if so what is the best method to achieve this.
