Adobe Target

Hi Team,I'm very much beginner to Adobe Target . I have implemented adobe target using Adobe Launch with extension at.js and passing a default global variable sitename in to Target. Now I got a new request asking about to setup a Propertie. I'm confused that I have already done the implementation using launch but what is the need of properties and how it is helpful. Help is highly appreciated! Thanks,Balakrishna 

Hi Community,I have issue on sending mbox parameters. It is kind of cross domain. In this use case , journey start with domain A and end with domain B. From domain B we are passing order confirmation mbox parameters to profile scripts. Since it is third-party domain I think those parameters are not sent properly to Adobe target.Any idea or do we need to enable anything for this cross domain scenario? Thanks

Hello,at my workplace we are finalizing the integration between Target and AEM (using Adobe IO).The configurations seem to have gone well, but when I try to export the Experience Fragments to Target, what is received is not a Experience Fragment on AEM, but quite literally the HTML (and on Target, they tell me, they see that the source is Adobe Target Classic). After searching for a while, I think we are encountering the issue described here (https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/release-notes/service-pack/sp-release-notes.html) : In the Known Issue section. We are currently on AEM 6.5.4.0. I'd say the rest of the configurations (considering that the Fragments have been exported) should be correct. In the Target configuration we specified at.js as a library.I was wondering, has anybody found a solution to this problem? How can we proceed to have our AEM Experience Fragments properly imported in the offers of Target?Any help, update or informat

I want to randomize visitors to my site so I can test 3 promotions across multiple pages. I'm thinking we randomize the visitors into groups A, B and C, and write a cookie with the value. Then I create an audience for each cookie value and serve the appropriate experiences. Using a cookie because I want return visitors to stay in the same group. But not sure how to do the randomizing cookie part. Suggestions?

Hi Helpies, We created 3 different activities (A/B Test) in the Adobe Target 3 days ago, but still there is no traffic inside the report.We connected the right Adobe Analytics platform, made tweaks according to the demos and tutorials, but issue is still there. Hi, When trying to use Adobe target with our website I see the following error message in the console of the browser: AT: [page-init] Adobe Target content delivery is disabled. Ensure that you can save cookies to your current domain, there is no "mboxDisable" cookie and there is no "mboxDisable" parameter in query string. We have no mboxDisable cookie on our site, there is no mboxDisable in the query string. We are running the latest version of at.js scrip - 2.3.2. Also other cookies, from say google adservices are stored, so I don't think there is a problem there. I have used the adbobe extension to see if there is any activity, and there isn't. We can see that the at.js script is loaded (we have even added a console.log to this to prove it). We are a deadend. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi,I have created an A/B Activity and when I am trying to do targeting for Experience Fragments with Single Page Application (SPA), I am able to save the activity but getting the below error and the activity is getting in draft mode:Sync ErrorYour updates did not get published to Adobe's delivery network. If the problem persists, please contact Adobe Client Care.  For normal Text components I am able to do targeting and also make the activity active & the expected text is seen when navigated to the page.But this issue i am seeing only when using Experience Fragment.  Regards,Sree

We have a client that uses dynamic URLs with multiple PIDs across thousands URLs, and we would like to know if and why, we can or can't use the Visual Experience Composer to create and test experiences on dynamic URLs. ThanksDs

I'm curious if anyone has had success trying to leverage the new getOffers function to call all regional mboxes on a page with a single call/response? We got it working, but our Tech group reported that the performance was actually way worse than sending the separate individual calls. That doesn't seem to make sense. Anyone doing this?

There could be certain scenarios where you have the expected offer code in the Target response but this specific offer code is not rendering on the page.Below is an illustration of an HTML offer code as the response from a regional mbox 'toolmbox'.In this particular situation, the HTML offer is the result of loading a remote offer code when user sends a request to Target server with the given custom mbox. However, it will not render on the page until a selector is specified in the applyOffer. For example: "selector": '#mainContainer'.This selector actually tells Target about the place where to load the resultant offer on receiving the response successfully. Hi,  Our newly developed mobileweb (MW) experience is an Angular based SPA that will be hosted inside of iFrame on many of our client's sites. We plan to implement at.js 2.x using Tealium (TMS).  Since Target VEC (visual based exp composer) doesn't support iframe, we are exploring FEC option (form based exp composer). Below are some FEC topics that we are running researches on:  Do we still need to create multiple reginal mbox using get/applyoffer function or we can just utilize one global mbox?If the latter, is there any resource that shows how to do so? Can we implement both global and reginal mbox for our MW SPA? 

I'm able to connect and get API responses with an API client (Insomnia).However, I keep getting an SSL error when trying to do the same with Python. Hello Experts,We tried to add order confirm mbox call to send some data to target to utilize it in VIsitor profile We are getting following error imediately once fire the mbox call rule: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 ()What could be the issue?I'm adding error screenshot below.  

I'd like to know how I can exclude or prevent visitors from entering both experiences in my Target activity. I am currently using Adobe Target as my reporting source, and I'm wondering if there is an OOB functionality to segment those visitors who saw both experiences and exclude them out of my activity.I'm only trying to be proactive because sometimes this issue persists in A4T and I end up needing to create exclusion segments because the total visitors adds up to >100%. 

I am trying to track dynamic links via AT, in the editor i have the right selectors see image, these link are dynamically added to the pages after page load so don't receive the AT class .at-element-click-tracking. Any ideas how i can track these links? 

Hello everybody,I am still fairly new to Adobe Target. I have worked with Google Optimize before and the logic to Adobe Target seems to be slightly different. I want to do something pretty simple, but I can't find the solution: Scenario: User visits our website. The person goes to the career section during the session. The person clicks through the website and eventually ends up back on the start page. The start page should now contain a career header. Current status: What I've accomplished is that the career header is displayed on the start page if the person was on the career page exactly before, so if the referrer is /career. But the career header on the start page should also be shown if:a) The user has been on other sub-pages in the meantimeb) When the user returns after a few minuts/days The banner should simply be displayed to people who have been to the career site at some point. Many thanks in advance 🙂 

HI,I am trying to target a user who has visited a landing pagexyz.com/egg during a session will then see a targeted banner for the landing page page pagexyz.com/abc.How should I approach this?

If someone has built a deterministic/ probabilistic device graph for digital fingerprinting - can they utilize this graph within Adobe Target?For example, add this user profile data to build out an even more robust user profile in Target, by combining with Target and Analytics data.  If so, would this be done thru Adobe I/O, Firefly, or directly into Target product via API?  Or do we need to utilize Audience Manager of People Core Service in Adobe.  Trying to understand the flow and architecture- and if it is even possible. Thanks!!

Hi,I have a client which would like to show personalised content (through Target) to users, based on the keyword they searched to get to the site. An example could be that the user searches on Google for surfboards and clicks on an ad leading to our site. Once the user reaches our site, we show content related to surfing. Can we create an audience based on the search term used to enter the site?

 I want to show a specific banner to anyone who visits our site with the following URL query parameter  url.com?utm=golf The issue I am facing is that I want to target them continuously with the same banner, unless they arrive again with a different UTM parameter. I believe if I build an audience based on Target> Audience> Entry page > parameter  it is only going to last for one hit. Are profile scripts the best way to persist multiple sessions until the next UTM parameter? Thanks in advance
