Adobe Target

Our technology team is uncomfortable with letting things "live" in Target perpetually, even though that is the best way to let the models run in the background and continually learn and provide value.  What have other companies done?  Is anyone else uncomfortable with letting Target drive what shows up on their website in a more permanent way?  What solutions have you deployed?Open to any thoughts or advice!Thanks!

We would like to create an A/B test that is triggered by one or two events, 'Coupon Invalid' or 'Coupon Expired', to reward visitors with an instant discount. How can we implement this with Target? Many thanks

Hi, I am looking to see if there is any sample project where A4T is integrated with Server Side Adobe Target inside an Angular applications. I looked at examples and documentation but I haven't found any specific related to Angular + Target Server Side + A4T

Here is situation .. we are using adobe target client side calls for few mboxes and server side calls for few mboxes. In both the cases we are using one 3rd party Id as Unique Id but attribute names are different likein client calls we are using "visitor ID" : 1234 in server side calls             "thirdPartyId":1234 In both the cases ID is same..but names are different.  Trying to get sence how Adobe Target consider or save this Visitor infor in Edge servers? Please help me if any one is having idea.  Thanks In Advance.

We are running a relatively simple A/B test on two versions of a page using AEM and Target - both pages exist on AEM, the variant is the child of the control. When it launched, our group noticed that the control page was loading for a second or two and then the variant would load. We were told by our testing group that this is the way Target works and cannot be changed. Is this true? Does Target always load the control and then the variant? I am very new to Target, and very eager to learn more about it, but if the default behavior for an A/B test is to show the control long enough for content to load and then take it away from users, then perhaps this isn't the best tool for testing. Thank you!

I've got buttons for which i want to track the number of click on it.[-][+]$('.button-more').click(function(event){adobe.target.trackEvent({'mbox':'buttomMore'})});By using the code above, i can see each time the same button is clicked, a hit fired on the Chrome Network Tab.Ex: clicked 3 timesjson?mbox=buttomMore&mboxSessi...json?mbox=buttomMore&mboxSessi...json?mbox=buttomMore&mboxSessi... My problem is the metric is just counted one time in reporting.Is it an usual behavior ?Is there a way to count every clicks of the same button ?

I'm using targetPageParams to add a parameter into the mbox (default mbox), lets call it "MyParam". In my script its pulling in a querystring parameter and setting a custom mbox parameter to the value found there.Example URL: [my URL]?TESTParam=xyz123I know Target has seen  "MyParam" in the mbox because it offers that parameter ("MyParam") as way to build audiences off of, in "Custom" rules. That being said..if I wanted to create an experience that now uses the value found in MyParam on the page, let's say appending it to a text field. How can I do that? I tried using ${mbox.MyParam} in a SetHTML modification for a text area in the content section. This did not appear to render anything. What am I missing? Is the syntax ${mbox.MyParam} for adding that mbox variable to the page correct?  Hi Team, We have an mbox implemented on the mobile app page and can see UVs and visits for the activity.The next page "A" is the m-webpage opening within the app and that has target implemented so if we include that page "A" in analytics reports of the activity we see zero data.The report suite of both mobile app and page "A" is same so wanted to check what could be the probable cause ? Thankyou.

I have an adobe target test setup with one mbox and three experiences A,B and C, the split between the experience is 34%,33% and 33%. I have different values for each experience in the mbox. I am testing the adobe target api and I am using this endpoint POST rest/v2/batchmbox?, I am passing our clientid and a guid for sessionid.Issue is that I get the same Experience back each time never any of the other two even though the traffic split is even. Is there some caching on this api?

Wondering if its possible to show an activity based on asynchronous params, I know there is the targetPageParams but how would I trigger these params on a dynamic value that populated after Adobe Target is loaded such as an API call. Then how would I trigger the updated Param to the activity? Is this at all possible?ThanksJ

I've seen that Client Side Target uses a visitor cookie to identify unique users (analytics visitor ID API I believe).  Does Server Side Target have a similar capability?  If sow how does it work and how could I incorporate it into my Server Side implementation?  TIA

Hi everyone,I have Adobe Target configured with Scene7. When I set up an Activity with an image stored in the Image Offers, the URL of the image becomes as follows and it returns the "Unable to find image file." message.http://smartimaging.scene7.com/is/image/null?tm=null&fit=constrain&hei=80&wid=812It seems, the integration with Scene7 may not be properly working as the image does not appear in Scene7 account and the URL format above does not look to be correct either.Does anyone know how to make the images from the Image Offers correctly embedded and displayed in Target activities?

I am new to Adobe Target and have been trying to follow the Above Target API documentation.  On the surface this looks very straightforward, but I have been unsuccessful when trying to perform any requests from the postman collection on any of our existing activities.  Although I get 200 response status, there is never any content.It is not clear to me what should go in host, url and in mbox name.  I have tried many combinations with what I think are the obvious answers to these, but obvious has resulted in an incorrect response.I have chosen an activity which has a at_property in order to understand authentication, but it is quite clear where we put the token value.  Another part of the problem is our activity uses the global mbox and the response for example from the https://*******.tt.omtrdc.net/rest/v1/delivery endpoint is {"status": 400,"message": "Errors: field - [execute.mboxes] - global mbox is not allowed in mboxes.;"} I have read that u

Hello, I am trying to create an email campaign that runs daily (once a day every week). The hero image should change daily and will be dynamic image coming from Target. Do I have to create 7 redirect offers in Target for each day or I could able to accomplish this by creating just one offer? Any ideas? Thanks! SK  

Hi Team, Client's few webpages are on SPA and few are on non SPA. On non SPA pages we already have target running through launch rule. Now on SPA Pages, client wants to implement target through launch so wanted to check if we can utilize same launch library ?We need to add triggers also through launch rule so modifying same launch rule would be fine?
