I've used the native connector to begin importing Adobe Analytics data to RT-CDP. We have a custom eVar that fires that we want to use as the Primary Identity marker. When viewing it in the schema, I can see that it is marked as Identity. However when I try to make it Primary Identity, which is necessary, I receive the following error: A primary identity descriptor cannot be defined for a schema that is connector locked How do I go about getting this to be the primary identity descriptor?

I want to change the lifecycle status of an audience to 'Draft' after it has already been marked as 'Published' or 'Inactive' through the UI. Does anyone know how to change back to 'Draft' after an audience has already been published? There's no longer an option for 'Save as draft' in the audience builder.

Hi Experience League Community, Our team is trying to export segments from CDP to Dynamics 365. The suggested way from Adobe official document is to use Dynamics 365 Destination Connector, however, with this way, segments will be updated on Dynamics 365 Contact instead of Marketing List. This approach will require client to create a new field in the Contacts to store the segment status each time a new segment is created. 2 questions regarding this approach: Will the new fields for segment status be autogenerated by Dynamics 365 during the segment exportation or it has to be done manually?Does the connector support only updates on Contacts and no OOTB solution to export CDP segments to Dynamics 365's Marketing List?Looking forward to any response on this. Thank you! Best Regards,Zac

I have recently encountered a scenario where the Client wanted to provide real-time updates to product designs based on customer feedback or responses related to color combination and interest. Based on this new designs can be shown in near real-time and on big screens in the stores. has anyone done any kind of generative AI integration with CDP or do you have some Ideas on how we can connect it with CDP? example: Image variation generation can be use case, or various themes can be generated.

Hello! Im looking to see if anyone has some best practices around experience event schemas, specifically around a single event schema with multiple sources or datasets. Use case: we have 3 paid media partners that we'd like to ingest engagement data back into AEP using source connectors/HTTP API? If each paid media source has 4 event types (conversions, impressions, clicks, video views), how would you leverage a single dataset for each paid media partners if fields such as timestamp needs to be unique to each event type source? Does there need to be a dataset for each event type per paid media source? Thanks!

I've been asked about three scenarios for linking activities and identities: 1. One person uses multiple devices2. Two people use one device3. Two people share two devices I'm aware that two and three are edge cases, but the client wants to know. My understanding based on reading about how Identity Service works is that: 1. Identity service will understand this is the same person and link activity to the same Identity Profile2 and 3. Logged in activity will be properly attributed to the right identity, but anonymous activity, no idea what will happen. Will it get linked to both identities? Will it go with the most recently logged in identity? What the heck happens?

I am testing the Facebook destination connector in AEP and my audiences identity failed, giving an error message "ACTSVC-8105-400 Bad request reported while pushing events to the destination. Please contact the administrator and try again." Does anyone know why I might have received this error to begin with. The mapping stage for the activation is using email as the source field and the target field is hashed email using the Apple Transformation toggle. Thanks!

Hello-Looking for open suggestions on how anyone has successfully continued to keep overall processing time of Global Segmentation Evaluation job, to a minimum, even as more and more audiences are being created. Does number of Schemas and/or dataSets also directly impact this? Or maybe just the size of both of those even? Any thoughts would be appreciated!Thanks,David

Hello, I understand that Real-Time CDP does not currently have an OOTB source connector for Facebook or The Trade Desk for paid media use cases. Would using the HTTP API source connector be the solution to get aggregate level data into Real-TIme CDP (to my knowledge, based on privacy policies for The Trade Desk/Facebook/Google Ads, individual user level data is not possible to pass back to Real-Time CDP).  

Hi AllI have a few questions I wanted to pose: 1. Should there be a limitation on event types from the source data that will exist in our specific schema (AEP Event Schema) in this example?  Any concerns if this schema continues to grow without limitation on objects existing in Event Classification as seen below? I.e. we continue to add more objects as needed under Event Classification.2. If the schema grows with each use case/source event (ex: Customer Awareness, Connection Test, Change Stages, etc.) should we anticipate any performance issue if the classification object extends, but is comprised of mostly blank or unused values?  3. Are you aware of any limitations in AEP for total events that can be ingested daily/weekly? @brekrut

Today, we are going to talk about a method of onboarding data into RTCDP which is discussed a lot and helps stream data into Adobe Experience Platform from pretty much any third party. We are going to cover the HTTP API streaming source. So let’s get started. Source Navigate to the Sources in the Experience Platform UI.   Above, you would see ‘Set up’ the first time you try setting it up. Since, I’ve set up an account at my end, it shows up as Add Data. Once you’ve created the account, you move on to Adding data. The screen looks something like below:   Go ahead and click on Add data.   Select your dataset, you would like to stream data to. Review and finish.     Next step is where most of the end users get confused.
