Folder Permissions

Hello Adobe Community,

I have a business use case where I want certain folders within RTCDP to be accessible for only certain users. Basically, we don't want different teams messing around with each other's audiences or folders. So, we want to lock down folders so that they are only accessible to the users within that team. Is there a way to apply access labels or something else to lock down folders and the audiences within those folders?

Thank you!

Hi @nickmannion

Yes, it is possible to implement Audience-based access using the access label.

Please check the video tutorial in this documentation to learn how to implement it:

Kind regards,

Hello @nickmannion ,

As far as I can see, there is no way to implement access labels at the folder level within RTCDP.

What I am thinking, the primary reason for this is that folders do not have a direct relationship with the data stored in datasets.

Audiences depend on the underlying data because they are built using information from datasets, which can include sensitive PII or other types of data. Therefore, access can be controlled via audiences or datasets.

However, folders merely serve as a directory for audience and segment names without directly managing data access.

I hope this helps clarify the situation!
