What would cause the UTM string to be re-arranged when hitting a webpage?In MKTO our utm string looks like this when added to emails: ?utm_source=mkto&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=XXX But when clicking through the link (in some cases) it shows up like this on the webpage: ?utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=XXX&utm_source=mktoAnyone have any idea what might be causing this? I am just curious. We've recently changed web platforms and since then have encountered that issue with some pages but not all of them.PS. I realize this is not really a MKTO question but it is somewhat related so I hope someone will still answer 🙂

We want a dynamic chat dialogue to load only when visitors visit a certain page on our website. e.g. /thank-you - this works fine by specifying this page as the only target URL in the list of target URLs in the dialogue settings.However, once visitors navigate away from that page, the chat dialogue icon remains for the rest of their session, even if they minimise it and move to pages which are not in our list of target URLs.This creates potential conflict with a chatbot we have on other pages of our site for a different purpose. Is there anyway to make the dialogue disappear completely once they navigate away from the target page?

Hello, My company has recently integrated Marketo and Survey Monkey - I have experience with Marketo but not Survey Monkey. Is it possible to generate and send (via Marketo) unique survey links as a way to track who completed a survey and their responses? Or, is there another method used to track who completed a survey and their responses? Additionally, any best practices for a novice when it comes to optimizing data using the Survey Monkey Marketo integration is welcome. We are making updates to the Marketo Engage permissions structure to offer more granular access control to your users. During these updates we will be introducing new permissions and redefining some existing permissions. While we are aiming to be as minimally disruptive as possible, these updates may require your business to update existing users and roles to avoid interruptions of tasks in some circumstances.   Need the TL;DR? Here's the short version: We will be introducing and enforcing new permissions for creating Lists/Smart Lists, Report assets, and exporting Smart Campaign results on May 21, 2024. These permissions will be automatically given to any user that can already take these actions today. Hi All, I was wondering what other people have done with existing data being pulled down from Dynamics (CRM) into Marketo for their acquisition source. This is a brand new instance and the acquisition source is not tracked in the CRM. If that person eventually goes through an acquisition path and their field being empty may update to that activity which wouldn't reflect the truth since its existing data.

Hi,   I am trying to send an alert to both internal and client email addresses to notify them that a specific email wave has been executed.   I am using the "Send Alert" activity and passing a token in the "To" list. The token contains a comma-separated list of email addresses. I am receiving the email with the configured content, which is "Dear <Name>, Wave 1 is executed successfully." However, I have noticed that if there are three members in my actual campaign, I receive the alert three times, each time with a campaign member's name personalized in the email. I should only be receiving a single alert.     Can you help me troubleshoot this issue?   Thanks & Regards,

hey all, on https://www.robertwalters.fr/confiez-nous-vos-recrutements.html we have onetrust cookie consent running - when a user consents, the marketo form embedded on that page functions ok. However when a user doesnt consent, the form doesnt appear at all! Having looked at other discussions here i cant see any reason for this occuring. Any ideas? Onetrust seem reluctant to discuss how they implement Marketo on their own site (it doesnt seem to show up in their own cookie consent settings!)    

Marketo form field validation on required fields, particular field value formats (i.e. email & phone) are pretty straight forward and we have a script working with onValidation callback to set focus on the first error from the top of the form.However, the Global Form Validation is done at the server side and the behaviour isn't the same. In a long form, we get the error message but the form fails to scroll back up and set focus on the email address error. I noticed @sanfordwhiteman 's trick to localise the error message.Can we adapt that method to set focus on the email address field error?I also noticed that the way the form is throwing the error is as a 400 Bad request. Does that prevent any js running from that point forward? Is that why the form doesn't scroll back up to the error as other validation checks.

After a rebrand this winter, we noticed our CTAs were being stripped of their formatting in outlook clients. So we added the VML coding to the template and recently we started seeing the branding domain was not working on these CTAs, in outlook only, it will show the full url when you hover over the CTA. Does anyone have any ideas on how to rectify this. I've got a Welcome Series lead nurture program set up in Marketo and the main way we add leads to the program is when someone fills out a form whether that is a contact us form (as long as they don't have an opp created, we wait 45 days and then add them to the stream) OR if they fill out a content form. However, this year we have not been gating our content, and therefore the quantity of leads entering our nurture series has been low. Are there any other ways besides form fills that folks use to enter leads into a welcome nurture? Looking for ideas - thanks!!

Hi all, I am simply trying to update records from Google sheets to Marketo via Zapier. I want to take Lead ID as my primary field instead of Email address since marketo many a times create dupe records upon email id field (event during list upload). While doing this using Zapier, I am seeing error called"Failed to create a lead in MarketoField 'id' not allowed" I know we can update records basis lead id field using API directly, but isnt zapier allowed to update records based on Lead id field? 

Hello, I've been experiencing an issue with a Campaign I ran. I added some CTAs and links to my Email which take to a Landing Page.I included myself on my Send Campaign in order to test it for myself and the email CTA's and links worked perfectly on my work email in my Work computer and also in my Personal emails on my personal mobile but when I tried to open the CTAs and the links from my work email in my work phone, the CTAs and the links didn't work. It shows an error saying "Safari can't open the page because the server can't be found". Any suggested solution for this? 😓
