Looking for some help for the best way to set up the form for a new email preference center.My boss wants to lock down the email address field so it displays the person's email, but cannot be edited. This way people cannot change the email address and edit other peoples' subscription preferences and potentially opt someone else in w/o consent (she's thinking GDPR). However, I'm afraid by locking it down we are still susceptible to exactly this problem. Here's a screenshot of this part of our form:I'm afraid this will present us with multiple problems.1.) How do I ensure the correct email address for the person is displayed? Will the email address be the one the email was sent to or will it be the one last used to fill out a form on that device? I've tested and for me it seems like it's the email I last used for a form fill.2.) If someone has an email forwarding rule set up, which email address will be shown: the one it was sent to, the one it was forwarded to, or the one last used to f

I am trying to dynamically control a field’s visibility on a global form using a hidden field that would reference the hosted page URL. Would I be able to use the visibility rules feature. Configuring a hidden field to pull and the URL of the current page?

I need to be able to add a lot of content to our Predictive Content collection. I can't seem to find an API for it anywhere to be able to add items in bulk. Does anyone know of some API documentation they could point me to or have experience adding content in bulk? So far all I'm aware of is the form to add pieces one at a time or Auto Discovery which is a bit buggy, seems to pick up rich text titles and then it's not able to process the item without edits.

Hello Community!   Our nurture/engagement programs have a total of four emails. When a contact/lead gets all these four emails from a specific nurture track, we would want to push it to another nurture track based on a few other parameters(like revenue, industry, num of employees etc) and while doing so we don't want to send email 1 from the new nurture track right away but we would rather make them wait for 7 days before we send email 1 from the new nurture track. What is the best way to accomplish this? Thank you in advance.

Hello, this is my first time posting, so I'm not sure if this location("Product Discussion") is appropriate. Please tell me if it's not.   Using an original unsubscribe form, I have problem tracking in reporting. I read the article below, and checked out that I have problem in step 3. (step 1 and 2 was alright.) Unsubscribes Not Tracking in Reporting - Marketing Nation    I am using 3 fields instead of the default "Unsubscribe" field. The unsubscribe page looks like this: ---- 1. Mail about product A: subscribe/unsubscribe   2. Mail about product B: subscribe/unsubscribe   3. Mail about product C: subscribe/unsubscribe ---- After the user submitted this form, my Smart Campaign will turn the default "Unsubscribed" field to TRUE, only if the user unsubscribed from all the three products.   In this way, I can make users receive mails only about the product he/she is interested in. If I use the default "Unsubscribed" field, he/she will never receive any mail,

The status of my import still hasn't completed, the waiting timer is on and the contact list is small. I've tried creating a new list and uploading again but still no luck! My fields are generic, email address, first name etc. Any reason why this isn't uploading? (It's the same style of upload I do on a regular basis)

I've successfully followed the @SanfordWhiteman method for reCAPTCHA v3 - very thankful for that. Thank you!   We also use SendSafely for document upload, following their guidelines here. The widget.finalizePackage method (API reference) is asynchronous. When trying to use both SendSafely and reCAPTCHA on a form (with the standard code from the links above), we've had trouble with either duplicate leads coming into Marketo, or duplicate form fills for the same lead.   I've tried refactoring the two blocks into one in multiple different ways to resolve the duplicates. The best success I've had is to stop the duplicate, but the reCAPTCHA 'Fingerprint' hasn't made it onto the form (even though it's logging in the console). I'm sure it's something to do with the two async functions resolving at different times, but I only know enough code to be a slightly helpful - not a developer.   Has anyone done something similar before that you could share advice, pseudo-code

I wanted to create a counter that is counting amount of MQLs and I created an internal field for that, however, it won't sum up the global amount of MQLs, only per person. Is there a way Marketo can sum this up as a global counter?

I have a master form that I use for multiple landing pages. Is there a way to change the submit button's text just for that specific landing page? Is there a script or code that I can drop onto the landing page that will do this?

Hello all,I am in need of some help and am in a hurry.  We have a campaign going out tomorrow and my boss just said he wants to send it out to a random groups that are 10% of the original target list size.  So send to 10% on this day....wait for their instruction and send to the next 10% on which ever day they specify.  So how can I generate random sets of targets from the list into 1/10th of the original target size.  Essentially split the targets into tenths randomly but each tenth cannot contain the same targets as another tenth.Thanks!

Can anyone explain what the Min. Number of Times constraint on the Not Opened Email filter actually does?

Hello!    I am trying to add a new Admin user to Marketo, I have their email as (example) xyz@blue.com. Their email or name is not listed as a user. When I added them as a user, I expect them to get a "Welcome to Marketo...." email but instead they get a " Hello User [name of person] has been given Admin rights to Marketo.." email.    Scrubbing the list of emails, it does not look  xyz@blue.com has ever been in Marketo as a user or a lead.    Any insight would be helpful! 

I am trying to build automation that will fill out country based on the ccTLD. For example if an email address comes in ending in ".ar" the country will be filled out as Argentina. I'm not seeing anything in Marketo currently that will allow me to sort email addresses by what they end in.

Hi there,We have one standard form that we use on multiple Marketo landing pages. We're struggling to find an easy way to customize the submit button on the form and hope someone out there has found a good solution!We'd like to be able to change the look of the button (color and text) from page to page. How could we do that without having to create a new template for every landing page or having multiple forms?In other discussion threads, people have mentioned using tokens, but I don't understand where we place the token initially in order to make this work.We're using Marketo's new guided landing page template feature which is making it much easier for our marketing team to make changes to landing pages, but this is the last piece of the puzzle—thanks in advance for any advice!James

Hi friends,   I have an email where, after the email is sent, the preheader copy displays old copy from an email sent two years ago and the subheader text disappears. In Edit mode, everything looks correct. In preview mode, the subheader text disappears and after being sent the email, some users receive the correct preheader copy and others receive the incorrect copy that pulls from the old email.    There is no dynamic content or tokens in these emails.    Has anyone experienced anything similar? I'm assuming the subheader copy is a CSS issue, but I can't understand why the preheader continues to change, especially with no tokens.   TIA!

Hello! I'm trying to use Opportunity level data within my emails to let my contacts know who their Account Owner is. The trigger for the email campaign is based on if the Opportunity is updated to a new stage and the Account Owner information is not empty.    For the email script, I only have the below right now by pulling in the fields and checking them off. I don't really need anything other than the info from the fields for the specific triggered opp. When previewing a sample record with this info populated (even those with just one opp), I'm not seeing anything come through. Sample view of what I'm seeing in Marketo:   Edit Script Token 1 ${OpportunityList.get(0).Account_Owner_Name} 2 ${OpportunityList.get(0).Account_Owner_Email} 3 ${OpportunityList.get(0).Account_Owner_Phone}   In an ideal state, I'd love to show it in this format for only the opp related to the trigger event which would be the latest opp: Account Owner Name: [Account Owner Name field from the

Is there a way to track where our leads are coming from for those that are downloading content like eBooks and whitepapers? I'm reviewing the activity_fill_out_form table in our data warehouse and I can see that there are utm parameters for webinars that show the utm medium but it doesn't show any of that information for ebooks and whitepapers. Should I be looking elsewhere? We also have a activity_visit_webpage table which is similar to activity_fill_out_form but not sure where to look--maybe the FORM_FIELDS column?   Thank you!
