HI All,   Is there a way to proactively end the Dynamic chat for user or give them option to end the conversation if they do not wish to see chat bot anymore ? also as per following tutorial there is a card for "Actions" we do not see it in our instance.  how to enable it in our instance and not sure about functionality as there is no documentation for it.   https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/marketo-learn/tutorials/dynamic-chat/dialogue-preview.html?lang=en   RegardsAnimesh

Hi Brains Trust,  I hope someone can help me.  I created a new field called 'Guide Link' about 6 hours ago. It is a string type field, associated to the Person (not company) and is not connected to a CRM field.   The token for it is {{lead.Guide Link}} and is able to used in emails.  However, when I go to add it to a form, it's not available on the list.  I have tried to create a new form (both cloning an existing and a new one from scratch) and add it there, but it still isn't available.    Does anyone have an idea as to how I can fix this?    In case this helps, this is how the field fits into business process 1 form is going to be on 70 different gated content pages. Hello,   I am having issues with developing the same styling for different email clients in a web and desktop app versions. I have tried using conditional css comments to detect and style different email clients but it has not been working. What am I doing wrong?   For example, I am changing the border thickness of the button. Hi there,   I seem to be having issues with a couple of elements in the mobile styling of my form. For some reason, the 'consent' checkbox moves above the text on mobile and I can't seem to centre the button on mobile. Here is a screenshot of what I'm viewing. Any tips would be appreciated

Hey Everyone!  Does anyone know if it is legal to send a webinar recording as operational to unsubscribes if it has marketing material within the email? These unsubscribes are people who registered for the webinar but unsubscribed before the recording was released. I want to stay in compliance with CAN-SPAM but I'm running into mixed opinions.   Our legal team says we can only send the recording to unsubscribes if it contains zero marketing material (even if they registered for the event). But I've noticed other companies send some sort of marketing "next step" in their recording emails (demo request, check out this asset, etc).    Any help would be appreciated, thanks! 

I'm testing our new Dynamic Chat (currently live on a single page) on my company's website. After I published the Dynamic Chat, I wasn't able to see it until I went into my Chrome settings and allowed popups. I know that I have seen chatbots on other company websites that I have been visiting recently (pre-allowing popups in my browser settings) so I am wondering if there's a way to show that dynamic chat is available in the bottom corner even if someone's browser is blocking popups. 

Hi everyone. I'm hoping you can help me resolve an issue with a Marketo Form. I created a landing page and a form to go with it. The idea is to capture customer info and when they hit "submit" to send them to an external URL that is a .pdf brochure they requested. The trigger for the smart list is "Fills Out Form". The subsequent flow sends an alert that someone has requested the brochure. This works perfectly when I test it. The issue is that I have been told we do not want to use a Marketo Landing Page, but would want to embed the Marketo form on our website (this is for reasons to do with End User experience). When I try to test the form itself, it does not work. Nothing happens. Can someone give me some insights as to why the form alone cannot be tested? Can I embed the form only and have it work correctly?Thank you! (new Marketo user as of March 2023)

I have setup the event cap on Marketo Sky. However, if the event cap is reached and then someone's program status changes (to not registered because they want to unregister etc.), the event cap does not take this into account and anyone who then tries to register is put on the waitlist - even though the event cap hasn't been met.   Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to update the event cap count if someone can no longer attend?

Hey everyone, I have a quick question regarding 'NULL', 'Null' & 'null'. If we have a String data type field called 'Mobile Number' in our Marketo database. And we are expecting a sync of that data from the CRM system. Can we ask them to push NULL in the Marketo field from CRM in case of empty values in the database for the users who used to have a mobile number value?  Will that allow us to see blank or empty in the 'Mobile Number' field if the user has deleted the 'Mobile number' or will that appear as NULL in the Mobile Number Field on the next data load?    Kind Regards, Vidhi

Per the suggestion of many, we have created a SFDC custom junction object to address our one-to-many account relationship within Salesforce outlined here. I am a little stuck on where to go next. I am now seeing contacts being pulled into smartlists when using filters that only match their secondary accounts, which is a good thing! But is the only way to access the various fields on that specific account by pulling all the fields into the junction object? Because if I then use an account filter it will revert back to grabbing from the primary... It basically feels like we are having to duplicate the account object as a custom object- and in that case why would it even NEED to be a junction object?   I am assuming the only path forward is mapping all of those to the junction object via a SDFC flow (since formula fields are a no-go for Marketo) but wanted confirmation on this before I ask a Salesforce admin to tackle it. Hello folks,   We have a use case to send emails out to unresponsive leads in a particular fashion and I needed guidance in setting up a recurring campaign (if possible) in marketo.   Here is the requirement:   Leads that open Email 1 (with subject line A) but don´t fill out the form should receive Email 2 Leads that do not open Email 1, should receive Email 1 with subject line B within 7 days. Leads that open Email 2 but don´t fill out the form should receive Email 3. Leads that do not open Email 2, should receive Email 2 with subject line B within 7 days. Leads that open Email 3 but don´t fill out the form, should receive Email 3 with subject line B within 7 days (the last attempt). Leads that do not open Email 3, should receive Email 3 with subject line B within 7 days. After all this sequence, if they haven´t filled out the form, add them to the new monthly newsletter list that we will create for prospects so they can continue to be nurtured once a month. Hi Everyone,Looking for a guidance on a Velocity script solution that I'm building currently.I need to populate content pushed to CO in a following format (deduped by personId, category): So, I'm using below code to populate the content, but also trim each url from https:// so it can be later applied statically to enable tracking.Each set of content has 3 urls placed in separate fields as highlighted in red. Hi Team, Please help with me with these question:   Is it true that triggers will NOT work if a Marketo landing page is in draft mode, even though it's published/live? For example, if someone needs to make an edit/change to the landing page while it is live and being used in a campaign, the tracking programs which is suppose to track engagements on a Marketo LP will not work at that time - not until they select "Approve Draft?"   Thanks, Deepthi.      

Hi everyone,Quick question, I have a new email campaign that I want to send to members, we will call it Summer Email. Now, we have another current ongoing campaign that launches an email to our new members, we will call this the Spring email. Now, I want to add a suppression to the Spring email to not send if the members in the Spring email campaign received the Summer email at any point.The current setup (smart list and flow) for the ongoing Spring email is as follows: My first thought is to add the following smart list filter and flow step to the Spring email campaign: First and foremost, is adding this to the existing Spring campaign the right approach?Second, would I need to adjust the filter options in the smart list to make this work properly?

Hello Marketo Community I have a question about Salesforce sync of previously deleted Marketo leads. We are running a data cleanup management program in Marketo where we periodically delete leads from Marketo but we do retain them in Salesforce. We use the sync filter to prevent Salesforce synching them back to Marketo. The issue we have is that if any of those deleted leads comes back ie. by filling out a form we want them to sync back to an existing record in Salesforce but when Marketo tries to sync the lead to Salesforce we get a sync error saying {FIELD_CUSTOM_VALIDATION_EXCEPTION: Cannot create the Lead or Contact as a Lead or Contact with email ... already exists} Has anyone had similar issue to overcome? I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions on how to fix the problem. Thank you Mirek
