We are managing soft bounces with below condition to mark them marketing suspended.Soft bounces - any - 3 times - past 90 daysANDNot delivered email - any - 3 times - past 90 daysWe are capturing many records. But we come cross a scenario,When we check soft bounces and delivered email, I can see many records where Email delivered captures in Activity log and then soft bounces occurs (I also noticed 'Email Delivered' activity took place before 'Send Email'), but we can't capture these records in our marketing suspended as we consider 'Not Delivered Email".Why Marketo captures Email delivered first and soft bounces occurs for some records? Do we have any solution to capture who got first Email Delivered and then Soft bounces  into our Marketing Suspended tag?

I see people adding GA4 and/or GTM tracking for Marketo LPs. Is this necessary? I don't want Marketo LPs to compete with our website's ranking. I don't want Marketo LPs to show up in SERPs because a handful of those pages are very old and have wrong information. So, just using Marketo analytics to observe the LPs' traffic is good enough?

 Hi Folks, I am facing one issue while merging the field based on the email IDS. Merge failure – unable to perform a merge operation in the natively synced CRM. We enabled the feature Marketo Sync User Convert Leads in Salesforce. But still face the issue. Here are a few key observations:I elevated a case where both records had the same SFDC type (i.e., Contact-to-Contact or Lead-to-Lead), yet the issue persists.However, when the SFDC types are different (e.g., Lead-to-Contact, Contact-to-list-Import, etc), the merge completes successfullyy. Your suggestions will be helpful

Hi all, I am a new Marketo user so looking for some support. For creating a simple email, I can see that the text size, font, type, is exactly the same in various paragraphs, yet when I send out a sample email/test, the font is different. I guess it has something to do with the coding, but I am not a coder. Has anyone had this issue, and what do you suggest?Thanks,Sandra

Hi All,Has any had any issues with Marketo Measure where campaigns/revenue is falling into the Other channel. We have set up and integrated all of our socials (google, Bing, Yahoo etc), I have also added the to the online channels, made sure all UTMS are correct and yet I still have around 100 campaigns falling into that category. We have had numerous internal meetings with the appropriate teams too to make sure that all bases are covered. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated 

HI Team , We wanted to conduct A/B testing for our batch-and-blast campaign using the engagement program. We have four emails to send every Tuesday with different content to the same audience. One of our previous consultants recommended leveraging the engagement program, allowing us to set the availability of the four emails for the desired send day. This way, newly added records won't receive previous emails. I read a document stating that A/B testing can be used in the engagement program stream or for a trigger using a champion-challenger approach, so I attempted to implement that. I selected a sample size of 10 for this test, allocating 40% for A/B testing and 60% for the winner. I set up the engagement stream with the A/B testing email I created using the champion-challenger approach. However, all 10 emails were sent together, and no A/B test was performed. Can someone guide me on how to approach A/B testing with the champion-challenger method for nurturing or a

Hi, I am looking to set up an email using tokens.  the problem I have is that the field in Salesforce is returning a value of 1 instead of the name of the field. for example, I want the email to say thank you for purchasing brand1 - the field in salesforce for brand1 if they have purchased brand1 is 1. What would the best way to approach this? My thoughts would be to create a pick list field in Marketo and display the brand name desired if brand1 = true [1]. I haven't quite figured the logic yet. Would there be a better way to approach this, I don't have the option to change the original field. Thanks

I'd like to identify users on our website using Marketo data. I am curious if one can fetch lead data using the data stored in the `_mkto_trk` cookie. It appears that the cookie is storing both an ID (Munchkin ID?) and a token. Hello!Curious if it is possible to "timestamp" within an email footer the DateTime that the email was Sent and/or Delivered for both a Sample Draft and/or a Live Email?We currently use the system date token - but that obviously updates to whatever the current DateTime is when viewed for saved samples.From what I can tell this doesn't seem possible, but thought I'd reach out to wiser minds 🙂 

Hi,I have an use case, Marketo is linking customobject record to an inactive email addressCustomobject is defined with email address as linking fieldAn unique Id as de-dupe fieldWhen I bulk import data to Customobject, Marketo is linking the CO data to an inactive email address(There are dupe email addresses) because of which active email address is not showing up in the list derived by a smart list. I would not be knowing email address status at the time of bulk import  data. Hi, Seeking working code for module hero banner; where image can be uploaded by an admin for the background of the container, and still have live, editable text in the foreground. It must work in Outlook. I am using a Marketo provided email template, however there are issues likely due to CSS for background: cover; being utilized. In Outlook, image pushed outside of container (overspills), vertically, breaking that container and bugging up the email rendering.Please advise. What is AB Testing?   A/B Testing is a controlled experiment to compare two versions of something (A vs B) to determine which performs better. It's used to optimize conversions, engagement, or any metric that matters.   How it works?   Identify a goal – increase email CTR, landing page signups, form submissions etc. Create two variants – A (current/default), B (new/test). Split the audience – Randomly show A to 50%, B to 50%. Measure performance – Track key metrics. Analyze results – Use statistical significance to decide if B beats A.   When to use AB testing?   In nutshell, AB testing represents an experiment. It is an iteration with an hypothesis (assumption) - that the new variant is better. The job of AB testing is to accept or reject this hypothesis. A/B testing helps you know what works better - not what you think works better. Hence, use it when you are looking for improvements through iterations. There can be many scenarios.    

Another chance to sing the praises of Marketo forms over other form builders. Marketo forms are just, well, normal. Others’ forms, by and large, are needlessly weird and obscure.   Take filling fields from UTM params. On a Marketo form, you just set up a field as type Hidden and set it to Autofill from a param like utm_campaign.   Doesn’t matter what the back end Marketo field is called: could be literally utm_campaign, or the more precise last_utm_campaign, or one of those fields with a backstory like UTM_Campaign_Really_Use_This_One_Guys.   Not so with a Squarespace form. There, even if a field is called utm_campaign it’s impossible to fill it from the param utm_campaign. Unless you use the custom JS below, you can only fill from param names that start with SQF_ and are all caps. That’s crazy!   Nobody wants to append SQF_UTM_CAMPAIGN to links. Even if teeeechnically utm_* params aren’t “standard,” they’re so widely supported that they might as well be.  

Hi all, Bit stuck here - a customer emailed this morning to say our unsubscribe link is not working, so I checked the email sent and they were correct, our marketo unsubscribe landing page just lands on a can't be reached error.Our IT manager has checked through the CNAME settings and everything is set up correctly.We don't have many landing pages set up but it looks like it affects all of them - our subscribe page doesn't work either.Any other ideas?http://lp.obexglobal.com/UnsubscribePage.html

My team recently discovered a Microsoft Custom Field in our Marketo instance called "Marketo Inactivity", but we don't know how users have been marked with this field as "True". We want to know what parameters were used (batch campaign, trigger campaign, etc.) to mark users as such. When we run the smart list "Marketo Inactivity = True", we see that 34,000 people are on the list, so they had to have been marked with this field somehow. But when we search the field in Field Management in Admin settings, it says it's only being used by the smart list mentioned above, no batch campaigns or trigger campaigns.  Is there another way to figure out how users have been marked with this Marketo Inactivity field as "True"? Do we need look in Dynamics or is there another place to look in Marketo?
