Adobe Journey Optimizer

We have a requirement to apply different capping thresholds to different placements,For a given customer A show offer B, X times in Placement C or Y times in Placement Dwhere X <> YFor example,For customer Andrew, show LOAN offer, 3 times over 7 days in Header placement or 2 times over 14 days Footer placement My idea would be to include an optional placement qualifier (“Placement name”) when selecting “Apply capping to each placement” as shown above. Capping would then apply to “Placement name” only and not all placements. Note that placement capping is “Offer Decisioning” functionality, which would need to be re-introduced into experience decisioning.

When we try to send emails from AJO we get this alert. Saying that the opt-out link is missing in the body. But his is not entirely true. The link is there, but is placed inside a fragment. To us it seems like AJO is not able to see this link when it is inside a fragment, and then returns a alert. We have placed the link inside a footer fragment, that is not broken before sending the email. We are also using if/or logic controlled by variables to show the right language for that link. This also might be a reason for AJO is not able to recognize the link. But it is there, and it is working. Could the code checker that looks for this opt-out link also try to look for this code inside fragments?

We often run into all kind of problems with the email designer during a AJO upgrade/release. Created content disappears, variable settings used in fragments changes/disappears, Image sizes changes etc etc. All this things come back from the users as bug reports. When investigating the issues, we often need to conclude that the error/experienced behavior most come from hickup in the code during the code upgrade. Suddenly all is back to normal again, the day after, without changing anything. Out theory is that a AJO upgrade/code change possible has some impacted on the use of the email designer during the code upgrade. Maybe it is hard or difficult to store things at the same time the source code is been updated. At least we experience that it might be a challenge here.   We would therefor like to have the option to “lock” the email editor and other components that creates things in AJO during an update . The lock could explain that this feature is temporary locked caused by an code upgr

When working with offers we cant filter the offers on the "created by" filter. It is not an option in the filtering menu and its not an option in the canvas/offers list. You can get the data to show in the offers list, but you cant click on that column to filter/sort on that data, like you can with "last modified" and "modified by". For our users it could be hard to find the offers you have created when we have over 40 creators of offers in our platform. Therefor there is a need and wish for a better filtering and listing of offers based on "created by" data.

Description -I would like to more easily keep track on day-to-day changes in number of qualified profiles for batch audiences. Why is this feature important to you -AJO end users often change audience criteria and want to follow-up on the effect of that change when it comes to difference in audience size. How would you like the feature to work -I would like the audience properties to show number of qualified profiles from both the most recent batch update as well as the previous one. Current Behaviour -Currently AJO end users have to keep documentation somewhere else than AJO to keep track on the difference in audience size after a change in the audience criteria.

When you work in the Journey builder creating a new Journey, or want to do changes in an older one, the change you find necessary to do often is actually in an Audience used in the Journey. In other cases you need to check an Audience you have used. Today you need to go out of the Journey builder and find the wanted Audience in the Audience overview. In the Journey builder interface where you select Audiences to use, it would have been nice it you actually could go directly to the Audience and open it from this page/view. It is a little misleading that you have a edit button there, but the only ting that happens is that you open a popup with the total number of Audiences you can select from. You dont find the one that is selected directly and you cant open it to edit on it. That would be a way more helpful feature - open and edit the already selected Audience, directly from the Journey builder interface.

We have experienced that expressions with audience names in the expression is not updating if the audience is changing name. This causes the expression to fail. since the audience "is no longer there". This causes problems for the users of the platform and the customers receiving communication. In bigger organizations like ours there are many different teams working in AJO at the same time, also in different countries. If there is an audience library to be used of many users, as part of staying under the audience threshold limitation, many user can use the same audience for different kind of activities. Both as inclusions, as well as exclusions in the organizations activities. And many will therefor also have the same audiences used in expressions. We see that this now causes big and surveil danger in using expressions in AJO Journeys. An audience name can easy be changed, planned or by mistake. And the consequences can be big when expressions then stop to work as planned, on

In AJO we have this advanced content locker when we work with email templates. But we experience an weakness in how we can work with this. And that is when our email templates is created by fragments. You can lock and basically control most of the content in a pre defined template. But that is only when all needed fragments in already in the template. When users -witch is common usage, drag and drop new fragments they want and need into the template, from the fragments library/menu, there is no content locking on those. It the fragment you drag into the template has text or other content areas that should not be changed, or the formatting should be locked it would be nice if this could be defined on the fragments itself. No we cant set any limitations when it comes to content in a fragment, when is comes to locking fragment content form been edited after been dropped into an email template.

Description - possibility of saving tags or attributes for each node in a journeyWhy is this feature important to you - for better analysis in CJAHow would you like the feature to work - choosing characteristics when creating or changing a journey campaign in AJOCurrent Behaviour - it is only possible to aply tags to the whole journey, not to a specific node.

In bigger organizations with many users that uses AJO if can be difficult to make all use a common naming convention to structure the content created in AJO, like audiences, Journeys and offers. Even if we have the folder possibilities it is a good thing to have a good naming convention when searching or navigating trough the content. Even all know and understand this importance, it is hard to make all users follow this in there hectic daily work. The idea is to have the possibility to create a set of PreFixes of names that you as a user can use when creating content. F ex you just select the name of the PreFix by selecting it with a checkbox or from a dropdown, when creating things. When saving the PreFix will then be saved as the first part of the name of the thing you create. If you have operations in different countries you might want to have a country PreFix, in addition to f ex the department you work in. A set of naming PreFixes could then be f ex.No_SalesSE_SalesDK_Sa

We are facing a issue where many of the stakeholders that is doing proofing of emails is not an AJO user, and can therefor not use the build in features for this. The workaround is hard and time consuming, like taking screenshots and distribute those around in the organization or creating a own Journey with test users for every time you have a change in the email contain. In most cases this means creating several journeys and sending tests as a real send out to stakeholder many times before the final email goes live.We are therefor wondering if the "mirror page link" could be used instead. if that could be distributed before the mail is rendered and sent out. This means that when we create a proof in AJO, it would be nice if the "mirror page" link also could be generated and be public so that this link could be distributed to Stakeholders that is not AJO users. Be able to share a final version of an email through a public link before a final send out has been rendered would be ver

It is nice to be able to store/move and organize Templates in a folder structure. But when you start to have many Templates and you want to organize them, it is hard to know witch Template is in witch folder, and if a Template has been placed in a folder or not.So to be able to work faster and easier we would like to have a feature that could show the name of the folder where a Template is stored in the folder structure. It would/should then also be easy to see if a Template is still on Root, and has not been moved into any folder. This option would make it easier for the user to manage the Templates in a folder structure. And with a increasing number of Templates a fast and easy working process is needed to not spend to much time on administration that should be used on running you business.

As we are working more and more with AJO, the content in the platform increases every day with audiences, templates, fragments, Journeys etc. Since there are many users working with different activities in the same base, against the same customers each user as a set of "most used content/features" Therefor it would be nice if each user could mark there personal favorites from there total list of created audiences, Journeys, email templates and fragments. This would make it easier and faster to work with if you dont need to navigate in the list of the total every time you are looking for something. If you then could filtered on your personal favorites you would get to your most important stuff faster and easier.

Today we can see if the templates are organized or not when viewing the root folder or "view all" feature. But if we "fast and easy" want to check if the templates is organized in thee right folder, we need to check all folders and see what is inside. A typical use case is when you need to reorganize the structure - witch you need to do from time to time. If we from the "view all page" could have a column with folder name, where the template i stored, we could fast and easy just browse the list and see if the templates is organized in the right folder. It could be a config, that you can turn on/of in the table view in the GUI. Like you can do with other columns in other parts of AJO.

We have found an issue in AJO making us concerned about how to handle emails in an always on activity - when the master email template is been updated. It seems like there is now obvious way of changing and updating a template, and at the same time keep the content that is created in a template used in an running Journey. Changing the master template directly in prod, or from a upgrade package is no problem. The issue is how to keep the created and customized content used in that template you are updating. In many cases you are just updating the "framework" like header/footer or other more than less static content in a template. And in a Journey you create the relevant content for this activity using the "static" framework. But when you need to change/upgrade the framework, and change the template in use with the new and updated version, the customized content is been deleted. Is is not able to update just the template, and keep the customized content inside the template. We

As we are working ahead with the AJO platform, we are also creating more and more email fragments. Today there is only a "Show more" option when the fragment list becomes longer than the screen size. The length of the list becomes that long because it shows all fragments, even those in draft status. When you are creating a new email, or a new template, it would be great if we could have more filtering options. Like just showing the Published once or just the one in draft f ex. It could be done by using check boxes like jo do other placed where you could filter tings in AJO..And buy the way: when you have used todays "show more" it is not any "show less" to go back if you want to.

Description - I would like to be able to append an unique coupon code/url link to an individual email. This would be a 1:1 append. Why is this feature important to you - My client has different retail partnerships they would like to send a coupon to as part of a "surprise and delight" or nurture program. How would you like the feature to work - I would like to be able to load the coupons into AEP and during deployment have AJO append a coupon to the email. Example, if I have an audience of 200K and 200K unique coupons, AJO would select a coupon, append to email  during deployment and "burning" the coupon once used.  Current Behaviour - Does not currently exist in AJO

Today: Landingpages are used for opt out (unsubscribe) to emails. Link to this page is placed in a email fragment in the footer of all email. A standard way of doing this. When this link to this page is created in the email designer tool, it adds a landing-page-id to the link. This in a unique ID that need to be there present for the link to work. And here comes the challenge .... If you use a Sandbox for testing, that many do. We have all our email fragments present in the test Sandbox. And it you then have created links to a landingpage for opt out, that page does not exist in the test Sandbox, or the other way around. The problem:We are running into a problem either way we look at this. If we create the link to the opt out page from the test Sandbox, this will not work when moving the fragments to a Prod Sandbox. Or if the link is created in Prod it will not work in Test. The result of not having the right landingpage present in eighter Test or Prod we are not able to send

When moving email fragments from a test Sandbox to a prod Sandbox all Fragments are by default set to Draft when moved. And that is OK. But you need to go into one and one of the moved Fragments and publish them. It would be a faster and more easy way of working it we could select several fragments at once and publish them in one batch. That saves unnecessary repeatable work.

Please give us a savable filter for the Campaign list in Adobe Journey Optimizer. We will have a large number of users creating Campaigns and this list will grow very fast. So we need a way to focus the view of these users to what they should see when they look at the list. Great would be multiple savable filters and a DEFAULT option. So one of the saved filters is enabled when a user enters the page.

In Adobe Journey Optimizer Campaigns there is a feature checking if a mail has any issues or problems.  We would like to extend this functionality and make our own custom checks if a mail (or any other channel) fulfills our quality standards. This would include the following checks: - (profanity) word filter- image size- overall size- branding guides (fonts, colors, having color palettes or other brand related restrictions while content editing is also desirable…)- remove tracking pixel if no consent for tracking exists (we want to send to both with the same campaign, recipients that consented and those who didn’t)- check URLs- missing assets- when an audience is selected and we include personalization, let us know how many empty or ’invalid’ records for this personalization exist- audience checks before send (this could also become a part of approval process)- let us do audience count validations before sendout (final numbers, blacklist (suppression) subtracted, quarant

We are today able to use folders to structure our e-mail templates in a folder tree. The same folder tree is not visible then you are creating a new email and are picking a template from the customized stored. The folder structure should also bee visible when creating the emails, and not just when to administrate them. It is when you are looking for a specific template in the list of templates you really need the folder structure, and not from a administrative perspective. It seems a little meaningless to having a folder structure when the end user cant see it and use it - the one user that really need it to make the workday faster and easier.
