Hi, I'm trying to use one web property with 2 adobe analytics tools. Can someone please give me some guidance on best (practices) ways to manage this? My goal is to manage two different domains that belong to the same "client" -- I wanted to use one web property with multiple domains/subdomains.Under page load rules, Conditions: regex domain (localhost) and path rules (test2.html)Adobe Analytics -- Choose Tools >I have only one of the tools checkedWhen I test on my localhost page, I see both tools firing off in Charles. My expectation was to see only one of the analytics tools to fire. Since, I only checked off one.....mmmm.What am I missing? Thanks in advance for your help.
Hi,I'm having trouble getting the Adobe Target tags to work using DTM. So far I've got both google analytics and adobe analytics working on my companies home page but adobe target doesn't seem to work. Our existing implementation of adobe target places the mboxCreate script at the beginning of the <body> tag as instructed but with my DTM implementation all I get is:<div class="mboxDefault" id="mbox-target-global-mbox-1400260109591-29037" style="visibility: hidden; display: none;"></div>In DTM I've configured Adobe Target like so:[img]mboxconfig.png[/img]As you can see from the screenshot I've left the 'Create mBox Around' field blank. I wasn't sure if it was needed or not because in our existing implementation we don't place the mbox script around anything. Do I need to actually specify an element to place the mbox around for this to work using DTM? Thanks, Edwin
I don't have access to "Scheduling" under the Rules tab in my DTM web property. AdobeTV gives a nice explanation but no demo. There's nothing in the documentation about it either. Do I have to request this feature to be turned on?
Hi,I just starting using DTM and I want my s_code being managed in DTM. My s_code currently include a lot of plugins. If I save all the complete code with configuration section, plugins....it works fine but satellite doesn´t rewrite the s_account variable. The resullt is that I always point to the same report suite in stage and live enviromment.I can´t remove s_account setting of s_code ¿Is there any way to get the live and stage account numbers set in satellite from s_code?Thanks.
Hi,I'm able to see my Event Based Rule fire on page, but the eVar and prop I have specified to fire as part of the rule are not showing up in the beacon. I have seen conditional mbox being created around css class but can I create it around div.
Hi, I've just started using DTM on my client's site.I'm wondering if it's possible to set multiple properties on a single site.(I mean there occur multiple requests for different container js files, on the same time, the same page) Usually there should be no need to do so, but I have an issue on controlling users's roles (e.g. User A should only maintain the rules on property A, User B on property B.)I tried, and it looks working, but I couldn't find any references about that on the help site of DTM. Rookie question: How do I write a Path based condition that will detect my homepage only? I tried using "/" on the PATH condition but it didn't work for me. I ended up creating a data element called "dtm_pathName" which is the Javascrip Object "window.location.pathname". I can then test this against "/" to see if it is root directory. HOWEVER, this rule needs to be evaluated on the client which seems a little inefficient and clutters up the debug logs in the console with messages like: "SATELLITE: Condition function (){return _satellite.textMatch(_satellite.getVar("dtm_pathName"),"/")} for rule "TNT - mBoxGlobal HomePage" not met."There has to be a trick. Any advice?

I have a page load rule to track my order confirmation data. The rule consists of criteria to ensure it fires only on the order confirmation page.The rule also specifies that Analytics variables for State and Zip fire (based on pre-configured Data Elements calling js vars on page)Finally there is Custom Page Code (in the Analytics section):var s=window.s;s.purchaseID=my_cart_id;s.products=my_sc_order_products;I can see the rule fire without errors in the console using Satellite debugging (_satellite.setDebug(true)), however none of the specific SiteCatalyst variables from the rule are being fired (other SiteCat vars do fire). I'm using Charles to sniff the packets and evaluate the output from the page code.Any additional ideas on how to troubleshoot would be appreciated.Thanks!
How do I populate a tag with a simple js alert test in DTM?

Is there a way to implement the s.crossVisitParticipation Omniture plugin in DTM? I'm thinking that it probably means using a Custom Code snippet in the Rule, I'm just not sure exactly how to rewrite the plugin so I can access it. thanks!Craig

Hi,At my client, we are looking at implementing DTM as a replacement for GTM (Google Tag Manager) and a lot of hardcoded tags. As you can imagine, we won't be able to migrate all these hardcoded tags and tags managed by GTM overnight.Is it possible to run both DTM and GTM together on the same page? Won't they conflict if they tag the same DOM elements or events?

HiI was hoping someone can help me with the followingI am trying to create an condition to exclude a URL from loading a third party JavaScript, so far I have added the code to Javascript/Third party tags > the JS is set to load sequentially and I have included a condition to 'exclude' the URL paths but I can still see the script loading in firebug when I visit the pages I have excludedNote:I have to use URL's because we don't have any pagenames etc on the page and we have not fully migrated to DTMIs there anyone who can help me please?

Hello,I'm finding that implementing our code in the Adobe Analytics console takes a very long time, because we have many pages and variables for each page. I tried to copy our current page code in the editor, but it won't let me because of unexpected tokens.Here's an example of the type of page tag we are trying to place in DTM:Please let me know if there is an easier way to implement the tags in DTM. Is this true? Or am I reading the HTTP response headers wrong?[img]dtm-http-header.png[/img] It seems like all the scripts from DTM are not cached. I am new to DTMs, and it just seems wrong to not cache anything client-side. [SOLVED]I was reading the headers incorrectly and DTM code is getting caching by the browser. Thanks for all your responses.
Can the DTM embed code be placed on the site in another way? Can we leave out the DTM footer code?
