I would like to track the form submission using DTM. If we use event based tracking how can I check if all the form fields are validated before tracking submission button? How these types of logic are added in DTM?

Hello,We are trying to implement Custom Event Tracking in Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager, but I haven't found a way to use all parameters of s.tl() call.s.tl(DELAY, TYPE, LABEL, OVERRIDES, CALLBACK);In our case we need to use CALLBACK parameter to allow tracking on important links that should perform the default action (load new page). We would like to avoid DELAY parameter to keep the best possible User Experience (speed in this case).Is there other way than to use a completely custom solution in JavaScript instead of the built-in event-based rule firing + Analytics Custom Link tag?

HiI am trying to assign some of the Event rule based target's attributes to some props. To do this, I would like to assign Data elements to the props in the interface, not insert Custom Code for each Event.The idea would be to define Custom Code Data elements which return the desired attributes of the target element, but I don't know how to access the target from within the Data elements code.Is this possible?Many thanksMarco

Hello,I'm using a Non-Sequential HTML Javascript/Third Party tag, where I'm using the following script to pass data to a 3rd party tag.<script>x = _satellite.getVar('Sub-Total');</script>The problem that I have is that no data is passed to "x".I have also tried the following:<script>var x = $('td[data-hook="order_item_total"]').text().substring(1);</script>In this case I'm getting $ is undefined. Note, both methods work when I test it in the Javascript console and if I use a Non-Sequential Javascript tag. What do I need to add to make either of these work? Hi AllI am new to DTM and would greatly appreciate some advise on how to track user navigation from a group of items in the same class.For example, there is one class in a footer and I want to fire a rule when someone clicks one of these links, passing the value of the id into a custom link variable or a prop variable. Every example I am seeing in the videos only fires on a specific value existing. I am looking for help trying to understand the proper way to place a tag.I would like to verify my website on Pinterest and in order to do this I must place a <meta> tag in the <head> section of my homepage. Even though my DTM header script is in the <head> section of my site, when i set the page load tag to fire at the top it still fires in the <body>.Can someone please help me understand how to create a rule in DTM in order to have the 3rd party script load in a line before </head> on my site.Thank you.

Hello,Right now we have Offers under Campaigns in AEM that are pushed to Abode T&T using the T&T Cloud Service Configurations.Newly we started implementing Adobe DTM and my question is does DTM allow us to push the same offers in AEM to T&T with out the intervention of the T&T Cloud Service??  ThanksPranay

Hi,We have Google Analytics Premium and therefore are allowed up to 200 custom dimensions, in the DTM interface we can only so up to slot 20 in the drop down menu - can we have this extended please?Happy to provide further details.Thanks,Edgar 

Happy New Year to all!Having a little trouble with my DTM.  For some reason, no new tags that I've created in the year of 2015 will publish live.  I can create the tags, test them successfully in staging with the Adobe DTM Chrome Plugin, but when I approve the tags and publish the queue, nothing happens.  The changes aren't made to the live site.   I am hosting my instance of DTM through Akamai.  Usually the changes are reflected in roughly 5 minutes after publishing the queue.  Its been over an hour now and still nothing.  Anyone have an idea?Thank you.

In DTM, I need to keep Adobe Analytics from firing on a particular page, but I still need the DTM code on the page.  How do you do that? For individual pageload rules, you can tick "Don't load Google Analytics on these pages," but that is not an option for Adobe Analytics.  Anyone have an idea of how to do it?

Hi - is it possible to disable Google Universal Analytics delivery on an individual property inside DTM? One of the three domains in my property is actually having issues with GUA (specifically, the autolinker is decorating links incorrectly and causing some issues with pages not able to be delivered correctly) and I was wondering if I could simply disable GUA (or the autolinker itself? I don't need the domains linked.) We have a plan in the process to allow us to take these domains to separate properties, but the site development required will not be accomplished for several months and I was looking for a faster solution. Thanks.

Hi Everyone, I've been using Sitecatalyst but am new to Dynamic Tag Manager (DTM). I have some basic questions just wonder if anybody can help me?1. Can DTM replace Adobe Analytics? In other words, there are some Adobe Analytics codes incorrectly implemented on the website before and now we are switching to DTM. Do we need to fix the existing Adobe Analytics codes, or can we just ignore them and DTM will do the job without Adobe Analytics?2. My understanding from the DTM user document is that DTM doesn't deliver data collected to anywhere unless you set up specifically. If that is the case, do I still see any reports if access from Adobe Analytics report interface?Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys,I would need pass a dynamic value (which I collected with Data element) and put this into a pixel image (marketing pixel). We are in the process of evaluating DTM and one of the key issues that we see is that DTM requires different embedded code for Staging and Production sites.We do not want to embed the staging code on the pages in case it accidentally get pushed out to production site.We want to just use the production code while still have ability to test the rules, more in line with old Adobe Tag Manager where one can use cookie to test out the code.Any thoughts or best practices around this.

 We have an issue where we're not being allowed to use query string params for internal campaigns because of caching issues. Does anyone have any experience with using DTM (specifically data layer) to populate campaign IDs and assign to proper campaign types?

I'd really appreciate if anybody could share their experience. Also I need to make sure the engine file is loaded prior the configuration file. What is the best way to achieve this?Thanks in advance

Hi, We would like to modify our Universal Analytics code for display-function and demographic data. To activate this the code "ga('require', 'displayfeatures');" should be added to the tracking code. I did this by simply adding the code in the "Customize page code" field of the UA tool. But this doesn't seem to be working. 

Hi Everyone, We have a registration form on the website which contains both input text field and drop down lists. The marketing manager wanted to track 1) how many visitors have started filling the form, and 2) how many "unique visitors" have submitted the form. For 1), after consulting a developer, I got the answer that you can write some scripts in the page source file to achieve it. My question is, can we actually set up rules in DTM to do this, rather than replying on the IT guys?For 2), currently we have a rule to track the "counts" of the submission button clicks, how can we track the number of unique visitors who have clicked the submission button? Since sometimes submission can fail because of incorrect form input, a "unique visitor" can "submit" the form more than once. Any suggestions? Thanks.
