Does URL get captured as an Out Of The Box dimension when I populate the URL field in DTM Global Variables? If yes, do you know what the OOTB dimension name is as I can't find anything.Also, I was reading this page stumbled upon and realized I could use the OOTB server dimension for my current "domain" dimension I created: server . However, Does the OOTB dimensions work as an evar, prop or both? What are the downsides versus using custom evars / prop dimensions?thanks in advance,Scott
Hi I have a use case where I want to pass custom event along with out of the box exit link which is getting tracked. E.g. I want 'event1' to be populated with exit link call along with 'eVar3' All the configuration in DTM via DTM UI like I have 'Track outbound links' option checked and I have my filters specified in UI which are working as expected.Any pointers?'ThanksPankaj
In my new report suite, there are no metrics to choose in the report builder. How do I enable them? The documentation I can find just says they should be "out of the box" but that doesn't seem to be the case. I've installed DTM and it is clearly sending something to Analytics but it's only instances. Here's a screenshot:Any help is much appreciated! !

Sometimes you want to modify an Action, but if you have too many Rules it might be complicated to find them. There should be a page to list all Actions (and Rule where that Action is being triggered).

I am having an understanding question do to first launches.First Launches get triggered when the user firstly opens the app. But what I see in my report is that in visit number 2,3 etc. there are also first launches. How could this happen? I would expect that first launches will only be in visit number 1
when product was addedd to a cart, the product string on PROD website was shown as " ;abc" in server call and "abc" was captured in product report for UAT reportsuite. However, when checked in the Production reportsuite, the product report shown "ABC".Note - No processing rule was added.
Hello,Having trouble finding basic information for installing Launch outside of AEM 6.4 and not migrating from DTM. I've looked through the technical documents, getting started, etc. and none of them answer two fairly basic questions - 1) where do I download the Launch JS libraries and 2) how to call Launch from the head of your page.In this simple HTML example below:<html><head><title>My Page</title><script> var dataLayer = { "page": { "pageName" : "My Page", "pageURL" : "/mypage.html" } }</script>// Where do I download the Launch JS files<script src="??? Jantzen.Belliston / Gigazelle,I can see that there appears to be an integration for Adobe Analytics with Segment (https://segment.com/). Are you aware of any efforts to also eventually support any kind of integration through Adobe Launch?
One of the best features of Ensighten is that their search function gives you the ability to search through the actual JavaScript for rules and data elements. This is particularly useful in debugging complex implementations.If I have a problem with eVar20, for example, I can just search the list of rules for "eVar20" and it'll return all the rules with "eVar20" in the underlying JavaScript.Extra stuff like being able to give rules/data elements groups or labels and being able to search for them, or search by which user created them, etc would all be useful.

In the Adobe Analytics Set Variables screen, a user still has to refer to a local SDR copy or jump into Adobe Analytics admin to know which prop/eVar/events to set.It would be great to provide a report suite name to automatically pull in the friendly names and descriptions from the AA admin area.Might be more difficult when sending to more than one report suite, but the option would be nice.
This is just a nice to have, but Oh Boy! would it be nice to have a Command-S shortcut on the text editors within Launch. \There are probably more like this - I just want to start the conversation.
It's nice to see the title of the library and timestamp of when it was published, but it would add a lot of value to have a free-form text field that can be updated along with that library.There have been idea requests in the past asking for a 'notes' section for everything that can be updated/saved, such as revisions for data element, rules, extensions... But that could get out of hand since a new revision is created every time you hit save. Within the platform, you could link to published changes via the libraries including those items, and then view the notes in that section for the additional detail.Example: For an audit trail for a data element, I should be able to select the data element -> hit 'history' , and then see the published libraries that contained revisions of this data element. From there I can view the notes of the library to know why I made those changes.
We have a platform developed with AngularJS. The platform is the same for all our customers. We must include Adobe DTM only for a client.I sometimes have external scripts that aren't loaded.
