When will DTM be sunset?

Hi,

We are planning on migrating our DTM web properties over to Launch in the coming month.

However we won't be able to migrate some of our web properties to Launch any time soon.

When will DTM be sunset ? Is there a date set ?

If it is the same process as with Adobe Tag Manager 1 and 2, there will be a period when DTM will not allow us to create any more new content and will only be read only. Is there a date for this as well ?

    Hi Alexis,

    As of now there are no immediate plans to shutdown DTM. Launch has just started and a lot of the customers have not yet started using Launch. When Adobe realizes that most of our customers are using Launch and rest are easily able to move from DTM to Launch, then only a shutdown timeline will be released.

    In other words, not for a while. In addition, Adobe typically gives about a year warning when a major tool has plans to be sunset.

    I'd still recommend all new implementations be in Launch, but if you're not able to move away from DTM immediately, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
