Adobe Experience Platform

I need some assistance wrapping my head around the Upstream concept related to published and Republished libraries. I had a couple failed publishes to Prod and had to rollback / republish a known good library.  How can I get back to that point to build a new release candidate?  I don't want what's in the failed publishes to be considered in the new build. Thanks for ideas and suggestions.

Trying to set up sftp connection b/w SFMC and AJO and using SFMC sftp server details to set up the sftp on the AJO end. When trying to add the required details on the AJO>Destinations>SFTP Set up with details from SFMC sftp (username/password/host/port) it throws a generic error : Authentication failed check your credentials and try again.  Wondering if there is a better way to decode the error to fix the issue.  Please help me with pointers if anyone else has been on the same boat.

Hi AEP community,   Running Adobe Experience Platform at scale is exciting — but often harder than the demos suggest. From broken identities to segmentation limits, teams in banking, retail, and travel keep hitting the same walls. Let’s share what’s really working (and not) in production.   Identity & Profile Stitching – brittle glue Upstream systems creating same hash IDs for orignaal uniqe identifiers like email etc, and suddenly two customers become one (or vice versa). 👉 How do you validate identities before they reach AEP?   Event vs. Profile – one profile, many events Personalization often needs event-level behaviour joined with attributes (“did X three times in 7 days AND lives in Y”). 👉 How are you modeling event vs. profile data to make this practical?   Segmentation Logic – when the UI hits limits SQL-heavy teams often struggle to express complex business rules in PQL/Segment Builder. 👉 Do you prototype in Query Service first, t

If I have multiple Merge Policies then I need to have different Target connections ....Then I need to have different Datastreams ....Then I need to have multiple Web SDKs on specific web page ...Do you have any ideas on that?Only the default merge policy (active on EDGE) is able to share audience to Target. Do you have any workaround how to send audience to Target with different Merge Policy?

Adobe Experience Platform Debugger fails when I inspect Edge logs for event forwarding. The UI collapses and loses functionality. Anyone have an idea how to resolve this?

I have got such a Data Model:Would such a profile be included in the audience? Would that array be automatically iterated?

If I use audience as attribute in another audience. Do both audiences have to have same merge policy?

Do you think its better to configure this one on a:- campaign level (js checking in activity)- web sdk event

Hello Community - I searched for a Diff Checker utility but perhaps there's another term to use.  I'd like to see, line by line the difference between published libraries, attempting to track down what appears to be a rather deep issue.  I've pulled each build's corresponding files manually and popped them into a diff checker one by one, but that's tedious.  If that's the only way to go, what diff checker recommendations do you have? Thanks -- MitchellTe1 (MitchellT)

I have created the audiences and mapping with the multiple destination. Now I want to take the audience count with respective destination only. Segment Details: Segment 1 using destination 1, destination2, destination4Segment2 using destination4, destination5I need to get the count for segment1 along with destination4, is it possible to do this?

Hi Community,I am working Audience export. I find all the profile enabled attributes in the source list in attribute mapping step, but missing only one. There are other attributes which are of same schema, but available in mapping step , only one is missing in Audience export mapping list. When i further analyzed i find it missing in audience creation profile attribute list as well.  Could help me to find the reasons of this missing attribute during segment creation and mapping steps of audience export.Missing attribute is of identity type, and no governance policy imposed, audience evaluation is batch, I have enable the radio button "Show full XDM Schema".  Thanks in advance.

Hi Adobe Community,   I need to bring in a new table in AEP that doesn't contain any of our primary identifiers (table A). So, the plan is to bring it in as a lookup table. However, the only field that I can link this new lookup table to in my system is a field that is already in a lookup table (table B). In the UI, I don't see a way to create a relationship on this field in table B which makes me think that you cannot create a lookup on a lookup. I feel like this should be possible since a lookup is essentially just a join on that field. If I make this field a primary identity in table B, would I be able to create a relationship with table A?   Thanks, Nick

Hi, Found that in Adobe Launch/Tag, it’s possible to assign different AEP Sandbox/Datastream to the corresponding Launch environment like below screen capture,  However, for assigning Schema in the XDM Object, there’s no such mechanism. And thus if we select the development Sandbox in the Launch development environment, there’s no way to automatically change it to use Production Sandbox when it’s published to the Launch Production environment (see below screen). We would like to know is it by design and what’s the best practice for this?  Thanks,John

Hi, I have a custom upload audience "X" created from a CSV file. Is there a way - UI or API - to determine what the TTL is for this audience / dataset ? And how much is left until it expires?

Hello -  What's the best technique for exporting Adobe "Tags" configuration for research and cleanup?    Tagtician is now defunct, this link on the community here is now out of date, and so is this one.  Thanks for ideas and suggestions!

Anyone know what might be the error in Test Luma app?I put there mobi environment-id from my own Tag

Just curious if any near Seattle coming soon?

HI All,I want to export audiences after batch evaluation to cloud destinations. I was able to do this for scheduled using flow service API's.In UI I can see the after segment evaluation option to schedule my audiences. But ca we achieve the same using API's?.

Hi guys, I am finally diving a little deeper into writing PQL audiences and have a beginner question. Let's say I want to create an audience that includes anyone who has seen at least one web page view. { "name": "People with page views", "profileInstanceId": "ups", "description": "People who have seen the website i.e., have created at least one page view event", "type": "SegmentDefinition", "expression": { "type": "PQL", "format": "pql/text", "value": "exists(event => event.web.webPageDetails.pageViews.value = 1.0)" }, "schema": { "name": "XDM ExperienceEvent" }, "labels": [ "core/C1" ] }   This body gives me an error * code: "NEBULA-000000-400",* message: "There is a problem with the input value. Please check your request and try again."    Any idea what's wrong? Also tried a "==" in the condition with the same result.

Hi,Why does it take almost 30 minutes for the AEP Data Lake to update datasets? I need to monitor bounce events, but the data isn't available in real time. Also, could you clarify why in Adobe Campaign Standard those values are available in real time, while in AEP they are delayed? Thanks!

Our requirement is to enrich the customer profile in real time. What is the fastest way to enrich the data in real time (say in below 1 min or max below 15 mins) . We have abandoned cart requirement where we have to show a pop-up with the data on items for which customer abandoned cart. Event Forwarding is one appraoch but trying to see if there are better approaches available.

HiI query the dataset select count(*) from __dataset and in UI data count is not matching  what could be the reasons

Hello,I have tried to insert my work PDF Newsletter into the body of an Outlook email. My boss does not want to send it an attachment because most people won't open it and look at it.I have done some online searching and found that selecting "Insert" > "Object"  > "Create new" (and select "Adobe Acrobat Document" > "OK" and then select the PDF you want to insert and then "Open". When I do this, the first page shows in the email body but that is it. The newsletter has 5 pages. I don't have any hyperlinks in the PDF so that isn't the problem. I'm not sure why it is not working. Is there another way to do this? Thank you.Renee

Context:We are currently in the process of deploying custom JavaScript code on some webpages via Adobe TagsWe understand that every time each script changes, this prompts a new SHA-256 encrypted value (SRI) to be created and this value is required to be whitelisted in the 'script-src'Whitelisted SRI associated with script1Implementing a new script2 Issue:We have noticed that despite whitelisting the SRI associated with script1 and only making changes to script2, script1 is producing a new SHA value It would be extremely helpful if anyone can point me towards any Adobe documentation to understand the following questions! Is there an Adobe recommended approach to knowing the SRI ahead of pushing code to 'dev, staging or prod'.Adobe Documentation regarding SRI creation (if any)
