Hi, I need help with Dynamic Media Video Thumbnail configuration.So far what I've done:Established connection on the cloud services -> Dynamic Media Configuration.I saw a video where it stated that Dynamic Media should be enabled on CRX at this location /etc/dam/dynamicmediaconfig which I have already set the value to true.Still after I upload my video in a folder, I can't click the thumbnail button and it seems like Dynamic Media is not generating the thumbnails at all. Can someone help or point out what else am I missing. Thank you in advance!

Hi,Has anyone noticed that page.lastModified doesn't always update when you publish a page? How do you reliably get the actual "last published" timestamp of a page?Not looking for jcr:lastModified or cq:lastReplicationAction - they’re not always reliable for personalization logic.

Scenario: AEM CloudOur setup includes:AEM Publish endpoint behind Dispatcher and CDN (Fastly)A firewall layer (Imperva) in front of the CDN for public domain access (e.g., yourdomain.com)Issue:When content updates are made and both the CDN and Dispatcher caches are purged, the changes reflect immediately when accessing the page through the publish endpoint (behind Fastly + Dispatcher).However, when accessing the same content via the public domain (yourdomain.com, routed through Imperva → CDN → Dispatcher → Publish), the old/stale content continues to appear until the TTL expires.This suggests that stale content is being served on the request path that includes Imperva, despite cache purge operations.Additional Context:We have connected with the Imperva team regarding this behavior. They have confirmed that they are not caching any content on their end. According to them:They are only routing traffic from imperva to the Fastly CDNImperva is being used solely for security and governance

For example you have a component where it should be authored by only admins. The edit access for this component have to be restricted to one particular user group only.

Do I need to rebase my code to the latest maven project archetype or the BPA/pattern detector will do it for me via the recommendations/findings?  Thanks

Hi ,    I am trying to create a dynamic component that displays pages as cards, the data is dynamically pulled from page properties,like featureImage , page title ,etc ,as we have dynamic media I am trying to utilize it by using image component in card component to load the featuredImage from dynamic media, Is this possible , I need to render that dynamic image urls in a image component.

 Has anyone faced issues with the Adobe Analyzer during Cloud Manager pipeline execution? Our build fails during the "Code Quality" step with the following message:Severity: Major | Rule: CQBP-84 | Message: Avoid using deprecated Granite UI components.We have ensured most deprecated APIs are removed, but this keeps coming up. The error logs in Cloud Manager are not very descriptive, making it hard to trace the root cause.How can we get more detailed reports or pinpoint the affected files?Are there tools or local analyzers we can use to test code before committing?Any tips or shared experiences would be appreciated!

I am working on a use case in which I want to embed an image inside a PDF file. After that, I need to send it as a servelet response. I am using PDFBox library from Apache to do so. Hello, a pleasure to greet you I have two sites, one is hosted at /content/site1 and the other at /content/site2. I have a role called author_site1 and another called author_site2. The error I'm experiencing is when I assign a user to both the author_site1 group and the author_site2 group, it removes the permission to view both contents.I have tried different ways to manage permissions:Allow everything in /content and, for author_site1, deny everything except /content/site1, and for author_site2, deny everything except /content/site2. When assigning a user to only one group, this works correctly, but when I assign both groups, I can't see anything.Deny everything in /content and only allow content from /content/site1 for author_site1. I do the same for author_site2: deny everything in /content and only allow content in /content/site2. When assigning only one group to the user, it doesn't allow me to see any content.Create an additional group responsible for denying everything

I'm just trying to understand .stat files (specifically /statfileslevel) and I don't understand this example provided by Adobe. screenshot is from => https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-dispatcher/using/configuring/dispatcher-configuration#invalidating-files-by-folder-levelI actually thought that when if a page is republished/invalidated at level=4 (let's assume /statfileslevel = 6), then pages from level=4 and above are invalidated. The way I read Adobe's statement, it's says pages on levels 0 to 4 invalidated. Can you please explain? Thanks! PS: The way I understand "touched" is that the .stat file file modification date is updated to published date/time.  

Hi everyone, I'm currently working with Adobe Edge Delivery Services and I have a question regarding site configuration using multiple branches from the same GitHub repository. We have the following setup: One GitHub repository (e.g., https://github.com/org/project-storefront)Several branches (main, pre-launch, dev)Different custom domains that need to be assigned to each environment (e.g., www.site.com, stg.site.com, dev.site.com)Our goal is to: Create a separate Edge Delivery site for each branch and associate a different custom domain with each site. However, when creating a new site in Cloud Manager, it seems the tool automatically links to the main branch, and we don’t see any UI option to specify another branch. As a result, even with different GitHub repositories or site names, the preview and production URLs resolve to the same main--repo--org.hlx.page endpoint. My questions: Is there a way to explicitly select the branch when creating an Edge

I'm building a block using EDS with XWalk, and I'm fetching content fragments via GraphQL in AEM as a Cloud Service. The image field in the response returns a DAM path like:"image": { "_path": "/content/dam/shared/en/contributor/ian_provo.jpg" }In my JavaScript, I'm using a helper (createOptimizedPicture) to render the image in a <picture> tag, which generates URLs like:<img src="/content/dam/shared/en/contributor/ian_provo.jpg?width=750&format=jpg&optimize=medium">The problem is: The base path /content/dam/... works fine, but adding query parameters like ?width=750&format=jpg causes a 404 error.What I’ve Verified:The image is published and accessible in DAM.The GraphQL response includes the correct _path.There don’t appear to be any permission issues. Looking for Guidance On:What’s the correct way to reference and optimize DAM images returned from a GraphQL query?Why do image URLs with query parameters like ?width=750&format=jpg result in 404 errors?Is

Hi , I am trying to use Adobe IMS for SSO for our author instance and Admin console ,as we are migrating we already have Directory and domains in AMS , as per adobe we raised the request for domains and got it approved .In Admin console I can see directories   I need the SSO to be applied for the domains under directory   I have gone through the adobe docs and i have arrived till this step , please suggest me the next steps to be followed so i can successfully integrate  SSO for Author and Admin console , and how to validate them    

Hi everyone,I'm trying to set up the Apache Dispatcher locally for an AEM AMS (Adobe Managed Services) environment but want to leverage the AEM as a Cloud Service SDK to make local development and testing easier.However, I’m running into issues - I suspect the Cloud SDK may not be fully compatible with the AMS dispatcher setup, and manually configuring the dispatcher for AMS (eg. Apache configs, SSL, farms, etc.) is proving to be a tedious and time-consuming process.Is there any streamlined or recommended way to set up Dispatcher locally for AMS projects more efficiently?Any tools, scripts, or starter templates that can help speed this up would be appreciated!Thanks in advance.
