Hi, I am currently working on assets with metadata migration task using the aio app builder. Calling the aio app builder code from custom MCP in AEM. When trying to make a call to app builder worker from custom mcp i am getting 401 authorization header is missing. I would like to know how to solve this issue. As it is expecting aio login token and org id from custom mcp also the login token will get refreshed every 24hrs, do we need to write a logic to generate the login token by passing the client credentials? Please let me know if anyone aware of this.  Thanks,Bhavani Bharanidharan

Some screens of Author display user's name with an order of "given name" "surname", even if the language setting is Japanese. some screens display user's name with an order of "surname"  "given name", and this is natural in Japanese. The details is shown in the attached.I suppose this problem is common for Japanese AEM users, so hope to it will be fixed as an update of AEM itself.

Team, we're in the process of implementing targeting in AEM. We are encountering some issues when adding the components in the segment editor. Could you please let me know what is missing here? Missing components in the component browser. Below is taken from Adobe documentation. @estebanbustamante @imran__khan @bhuwan_b @rashidjorvee

Hi I am getting Http Error code =401 when trying to create LCA from Workbench on AEM Forms. Please see the stack trace attached. "ALC-DSC-099-000: com.adobe.idp.dsc.DSCException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Error received while making Service call to AEM. Http Error code =401"

To implement context aware configuration, you will have to set sling:configRef property to every parent nodes of your content tree so that all the nodes under the tree will become a context and the configuration will be applied to it if you have multi locale site and you need to apply site specific configuration, in this case you will have to add sling:configRef property to all site root node respectively. This is where the problem was (in my case) and it was solved with the help of context path strategy. It means the context path strategy is something which will help you to implement context aware configuration without setting the property to every nodes of your content tree. Tips for AEM Infrastructure in China: Designing an in-China or Near-China Site Architecture by opsinventor Abstract Let’s say you’re already past Part 1 of the running-marketing-sites-in-China journey, and after analyzing your current site’s user experience in China you’ve decided SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE. The next big question is: Do you need infrastructure IN China or just CLOSER TO China? Let’s break down what each of those approaches entails, and how close each one gets you to what you’re trying for. What’s Involved in Hosting in China? Hosting your site in China gets you a number of decided advantages, but is a complex and rather involved process that comes with limitations as well. Hi, I'm creating a dialog with a rich text and a select field. The issue is that it doesn't save properly. Are there any officially supported components that allow dynamic addition of <head> HTML such as <meta> tags or similar? Dynamic being an admin user drags a component to a parsys zone that on page load adds HTML to the page's <head> tag?If not, is it possible from code behind for a page component using a class extending something along the lines of WCMUse or WCMUsePojo via ResourceResolver, SlingScriptHelper, Page, or PageManager to inject/append String (HTML) values to <head> on page load within some part of the component or component parent's life cycle?Which class if any can be targeted to add String values to <head> for SEO purposes? Or how can this be approached allow an editor/admin to add <head> conditionally to pages via something friendly such as a component with a dialog tab textinput/textarea?Thank you for any help you can provide!

I wrote a 2 blog posts in the context of AEM CS backups and how you should use them: AEM CS backups are not for archival. And in my blog post I raised a number of questions why in one of my consulting projects I did not considered backups as a proper solution for an AEM on prem setup. And most of the "normal" cases (that means accidental deletion of content) can be handled by authors themselves using the restore functionality. No restore required.HTH,Jörg

Hi Friends, Wanted to check if there is a way to inject HTML in AEM webpage. The HTML content is fetched from WebAPI(in xml format), so need a way to call that API and render the response in HTML format from XML conversion within AEM page. Also, does AEM allows custom control to be created, and how it is possible?  Thanks,Vaibhav Tiwari

Securing AEM Configurations with AWS Secrets Manager: Seamless CI/CD Integratio by @arunpatidar  Overview In this blog, we explore a method to enhance AEM security by integrating AWS Secret Manager for managing sensitive configurations. Unlike traditional approaches where credentials are handled at runtime within AEM, this method involves retrieving credentials during the Maven build phase using Groovy scripts. The credentials replace placeholders in configuration files before deployment, ensuring that sensitive data is not exposed at runtime. Key points include: Credentials are pulled from AWS Secret Manager during the Maven package phase. Placeholders in configuration files are replaced with actual values, avoiding runtime exposure of sensitive information. Detailed steps and sample Groovy scripts are provided for implementing this approach. Hello all , I have to filter out properties for replication. I used below logic . it is working fine in local machines but accepts(Property prop) is not getting called in cloud environment. Here is piece of logic.  @8220494(service = ReplicationContentFilter.class)public class ReplicationContentFilterImpl implements ReplicationContentFilter { Logger logger = LoggerFactory.getLogger(getClass());     static boolean Approver = false;public static List<String> refList = new ArrayList<String>(); @9944223public boolean accepts(Node node) {// TODO Auto-generated method stublogger.info("accepts(node) is trigerred and is he approver : {}", Approver);if(Approver) {logger.info("inside if approver node");try {return !node.getPath().startsWith("/conf");} catch (RepositoryException e) {// TODO Auto-generated catch blocke.printStackTrace();}}return true;} @9944223public boolean accepts(Property property) {// TODO Auto-generated method stublogger.inf

can we make a connection between AEM Assets and AEC Assets so i can have same folders and assets on both at same time or i can push pull between them?

As part of a site we have a login/subscription model that will restict content visibility to the end users. We want to implement this as a paywall (lead-in) functionality. i.e. when i am logged out/web crawler/logged in but not with the right subscription, then you only see a small portion of the content on the page so that the site can still be crawled by  We want to do this in a way that the page in AEM has all of the content that can be visible, and we want to make using of dispatcher caching of the content. We don't want to use a javascript function to hide the content as you can inspect the spite, or view page source to get the entire content which will violate the subscription model. Is there any way within the dispatcher of caching different versions based on the users access, or a way to have a cached response based on the cug groups.

Hello All,We are hitting the path like this /sites.html/content/sampledata/offers?omnisearch=product. Ideally, I want to understand what it generally does?  Thanks in advance.
