Custom xfpage component/template for Experience fragment by myaemlearnings.blogspot.com Abstract Experience fragment(XF) is a page in AEM, like we have our project site pages of the type cq:Page. Given that it is a page, it is backed by a template and hence a page component. Site specific XF Page component(inheriting from OOB xfpage component) -> Template Type -> Editable Template -> XF page -> Use in site pages via OOB "Experience fragment" component(from the componentGroup - General) When we develop a new site, we do create page component with supertype as OOB page component(wcm/foundation/components/page) or core v1/v2 page component(core/wcm/components/page) Likewise, for XF specific to our site, we are creating one inheriting from OOB XF page component. When we moved from AEM 6.2 to 6.5.3, bundle deployment started taking more time. According to log, each servlet and service registration is accompanied by some Adobe Granite Maintenance Scheduler Update Task.I am enclosing below the initial log snippet when starting the deployment of a content package containing our OSGi bundle. After this it goes on in a similar manner for 25 seconds before finishing. Hi All, We are using separate Sonarqube server and integrated with our application. Using that we are able to receive the code vulnerabilities properly. But Generating the Code Coverage is having issues. After 6.4 upgrade, junits giving below mentioned error (Using Mockito for junits). This used to work in AEM 6.3. We looked at the packages inside Uber-jar-6.4.3-apis.jar (inside maven dependencies of eclipse ), and noticed that package "org.apache.sling.api.wrappers" is showing empty? ObjectConverter class which is not found is being referred from this package. Since the package is not present, we won't find this class. Is there any way we can fix it?java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/sling/api/wrappers/impl/ObjectConverter

We're experiencing file issues on our site where users click on a hyperlinked file and instead of the pdf opening, they are routed back to our homepage. In some instances, it seems to be related to spaces in file names. Has there been a recent change where spaces in file names would cause users to be re-directed once clicked on? We've never run into this issue before. The only unifying factor is that this seems to be happening specifically to users who are off our network (not VPN'd in) at the time they click on the link.

I tried to use servletcontext to store global data which can be used across components /requests/sessions.The data is getting lost when used inside servlet, but when I used the Jspcontext in JSP, it worked.I am looking for any API to hold the data as long as the instance is up.I wanted to read data from JCR and made available to all the components so they dont have to read again. Thanks for your help.venkat

Hi Team ,I am working on a migration project from AEM 6.0 to AEM 6.4 , where in we have used the OOTB AEM MSM functionality. Now as per documenation Adobe Experience Manager Help | Common Repository Restructuring in AEM 6.4 , it is not mandatory to move the Rollout Configurations from /etc/msm/rolloutConfigs , However AEM has moved the standard Rollout Configurations for e.g (/etc/msm/rolloutconfigs/default, /etc/msm/rolloutconfigs/activate, /etc/msm/rolloutconfigs/deactivate, /etc/msm/rolloutconfigs/pushonmodify) to their respective new locations i.e /libs/msm/wcm/rolloutconfigs/xxxx. AS a result of which the OOTB standard Rollout Configurations are not being picked in Rollout Configuration of LiveCopy Section of the Page properties and the page  Rollout is also NOT working for that matter.Any Suggestion ? Apart from Running Content Migration Scripts to correct the property value of /jcr:content/cq:LiveSyncConfig/cq:rolloutConfigs .Any kind of help is much appreciated.

Hi all, I have a problem when listing an experience-fragment set larger than 40 items (nodes become blank and can't be edited). I'm using AEM 6.5.4 and so far I didn't found any error in logs or potential cause for this, please provide some advice regarding this issue. I already tried a fresh install with a sample project, the error continues, seems like it is an error in the version because it works correctly in AEM 6.3. Thank you.

Hi ,When we are using classic UI and inheritance  lock is cancelled ,it shows with different color for those components on the pageSimilarly  for touch ui  can we show a different color on the page and in content tree for the components which are having inheritance cancelled in that way authors will find it easy to find which components are inheritance  cancelledThanks
