Im constructing a custom component below is its layout. Header section built using <h1>Body section which uses out of the box embed component <div data-sly-resource="${'embed' @ resourceType='core/wcm/components/embed/v2/embed'}"></div>Footer that is again some HTML code Im using embed component in the HTML mode where, I want to populate it content from a content fragment (that holds all the data in JSON format). So when user drags and drops the stitched custom component, he will just choose the content fragment from dialog and it sling model will read it and return data for all the fields that the component is displaying using HTL. Now how do I feed data html content into the out of the box embed component either using HTL or sling model.

I am getting a strange error under aemanalyser-maven-plugin. I have ran my maven build tool with -X, and I found only 1 unuseful comment: [api-regions-exportsimports] importing package(s) com.mywebsite.core.models.test in start level 21 but no bundle is exporting these for that start level. What in the world is happening?

Hi, I am using ACS commons renovator to pull the report of images which has no reference in pages. As our content is very huge, when a single image is referred in multiple pages in multiple locales, "Referred In" column in report each cell it is exceeding 32767 characters and it is throwing below error.   <h1>Error during requesting: '/var/acs-commons/mcp/instances/683A99AD07F315B2/_jcr_content/report.xlsx'<h3>Error Message:</h3><pre>java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The maximum length of cell contents (text) is 32767 characters</pre><h3>Processing Info:</h3><table style='font-family: monospace'> so, I want to customize renovator like it should only give true or false if the image has reference or not, instead of listing all the pages in which it is referred in "Referred In" column. Can someone help here. Thanks,

Hi everyone, I am new to AEM and working on an issue where I need to make the url to work without having the .html extension at the end.can anyone please guide me on this.Thanks,karthik.

We have a requirement for filtering content fragment by created date and last modified date, which are stored in the _metadata. Since it's an out of the box field, we are unable to apply any filters against it. Is there a workaround for this? Our other option is to filter dates after querying the entire data, but we'd like to avoid this if possible.

so I just realized there's a new(ish) version of page core component (latest version is v3) I'm trying to find if there's a table/summary of differences with the different versions of core components (page, breadcrumbs and etc). BUT I am not having any luck finding such information. Are you able to help? Thanks

Hello, From various content it seems Edge Delivery's Document-Based authoring is relatively easier for Authors. It might specially be useful for the customers working with multiple agencies for content creation. What is your take on it? Is it easier with little/no training needed? What about Dynamic Content? Is it able to deal with COntent references and flushing them out, when updated?Does it have similar capabilities for MSM (Rollout etc)? What about Workflows, Servlets, Jobs, Event Listeners? How does is work in context of Hybrid Architecture? Can it be used in large organization with multiple functions and complex components?

Hello, I have a codebase in AEM6.5 that cannot read a OSGi config, using org.osgi.service.cm.ConfigurationAdmin api, when @OSGIService is used instead of @3214626.I see that when annotated with @OSGIService, the reference object is not empty, but the Config is always returned as NULL, though they are confirmed to exist. The same code works when used with @3214626 annotation & on other codebase the config values are read using "@OSGIService" inside a @Model class. Hence I am unable to connect these dots, so kindly enlight me to understand whats happening in the background.

Hi all, What is the rationale behind Adobe's decision to switch the resource type of nodes in the immutable section of the repository from nt:resource to oak:Resource during the deployment process? And what benefits does this approach offer? Cheers,Rustam

Hi Adobe Community,We're in the process of upgrading to dynamic media mode to leverage all its features, including 3D assets, smart crop, and more. We've already configured dynamic media on Dev, QA and stage environments. Now, we need to update all the logic pointing to static renditions and the old S7 Classic to the new repository URL.Could anyone provide some guidance or input on this?  @arunpatidaraanchal-sikka lukasz-m Jörg_Hoh

Hi All I am trying to understand whether our existing AEM projects are utilizing a CDN. Could you assist me in identifying the following? How can we check the current configuration to see if a CDN (such as Fastly or Akamai) is being used with our AEM setup? Are there specific indicators or configuration files within AEM or our server setup that would confirm CDN usage?Any detailed steps or documentation you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi All ,Could you please share the details for below questions 1. What are the steps to clear the cache from the Dispatcher and the default Fastly CDN provided with AEM as a Cloud Service?2.How can we clear the cache from the Dispatcher and a different CDN such as Akamai? Specifically, I need to understand the process for invalidating or purging cache entries on these alternative CDNs.Thanks

Hi Adobe team, I can see there are several documentations or blogs about individual Adobe experience cloud products and integrations between some products. Is there a tutorial, documentation or a blog post explaining how each of the adobe experience cloud products interacts with each other? Like a full journey how each product is utilized and interact with each other across a single Marketing campaign/use case?

This document: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/deploying/configuring/replication.html?lang=en#replicationand the various trainng videos say that there is an out of the box site call we.retail and on the author is an out of the box "default" replication agent setup. My install has neither, for an unknown reason.  I tried to setup wknd site and also replication to the publisher, but no luck.  Any suggestions appreciated.I have the author and publisher setup as per instructions by renameing them and putting them into author/publish dirs on 4502 and 4503.As the author was missing the test site, I tried to build it from here, but it wont build due to this error:So I imported the pre-built zip using ctx manager, and now I see a site in author called "WKND Site". I cant find its URL.Looking here: http://localhost:4502/miscadmin#/etc/replication/agents.author There were no agents, but the docs say that "out of the box" there should be
