Hi,I am getting list of books from third party services.Wanna list the books in sorting order like ASC using slightly. is it possible..?? I am able to get the results but not in sorting order..

Niall, or anyone who'd like to help...I was in Paul G's flowing forms webinar today and a file was shared that showed how a floating text field could be globally binded to another text field, so that when the user enters text in the text field, it would automatically fill in the floating text in a text box.I am trying to figure out how Niall was able to get the same floating text field in two different places on the form.When I add two floating text fields, even when they are globally bound, they still show up in the heirarchy as two separate objects ("field[0]" and "field[1]"). I think this may be where I'm having trouble with my form.Can anyonen help me figure this out?Thanks!Jo

Hi I'm trying to use server side (re-)validation. So I've enabled Server Validation in the form's Submit Action Dialog and I've specified the name of the clientlib into the Styles-Tab (see attached screenshots). It's the same clientlib I use clientside.When I try to submit a form containing data validation succeeds on clientside but fails on serverside. Hence I assume that something went wrong when the validation expressions were evaluated. I am using the if statement below on a button. What I would like to happen is if Name, Address, City, State, Zip and Member (fields) are empty you get the message Please complete all required fields or if the Member(field) (which is a yes=1, no=2) radio button equal 1 and eitehr Class, Room, Return or Local are empty you will get that same message. HiDrafts and Submissions component looks useful. I follow the instruction of https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/6-3/forms/using/draft-submission-component.html, and try to add "Drafts and Submissions" to my adaptive form. However, It is not shown in component panel while I edit my form.  Does anyone know why Drafts and Submissions not shown up?  How can I make it show up in component panel? Appreciate any tips.

We had AEM Forms 6.1, JEE version based on WebSphere 8.5, in RedHat Linux. Recently, we upgraded to 6.2, SP1. During the upgrade, we were told to disable WebSphere global security.  The upgrade was successful and it has been running for a couple of months. Now we need to have WebSphere security enabled. That's when the problem started. If we enable WAS admin security, we couldn't get login to work. It failed at "/lc/j_securit_check". An HTTP 500 was returned, likeError 500: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Location cannot be null in javax.servlet.http.HttpServletResponse.sendRedirect(location)We tried to follow instructions given by Adobe support to replace "j_security_check" in some login.jsp files and made some configuration in Apache Sling Authentication Service and Day CRX Token Authentication Handler. I am creating a form in Livecycle es4 that has several rows of of questions, each row requires the user to answer Yes, No or N/A. I would like to use radio buttons to avoid multiple checks on one line.I created the first set of 3 buttons and formatted them to fit the form, then I made an individual copy of each by going to: Edit > Copy Multiple, in the Copy Multiple dialog box I selected Place Above in the Vertical Placement & No Horizontal Movement in the Horizontal Movement. A single radio box was added above, I repeated this for each of the 3 buttons, here is where the problem is, all 6 buttons are tied together instead of 2 individual rows of 3 buttons. Can the two rows be separated or is there a better way of doing what I want to do?Any help will be appreciated.

Hello,Why is there absolutely no support/upgrade from LiveCycle Designer ES4 to an equivalent standalone product in AEM Forms?My company has been told by an Adobe representative that we either have to buy in a managed service, where our forms are hosted on Adobe servers, which is unacceptable to the multi-national bank we work for as they only host on their own secure servers. We have been told the only other option would be an on-premise license which would allow us a massive total of SIX complex forms, at a cost of up to £175,000 per year!I find this totally unacceptable, surely there is some way of continuing to support our forms now that LiveCycle Designer is end-of-life, without this extortionate cost - which our client will not approve.Surely there must be some other solution please?

Hi All!I am starting to work with AEM 6.2 adaptive forms, and our design wants authors to be able to make editable text instructions above the form. However the default functionality does not seem to allow this. Our form body uses: <guide:includeGuideContainer/>  I've tried various methods to include a cq:include or sling:include to have a component outside of the form body, but no luck. Any ideas?Thanks!

Hi all,I need some help to solve this issue:In Adobe AEM Designer v 6.2, i have a form containing mandatory fields ("user entered - required"), to be validate.Leaving mandatory fields empty, when i do execValidate() on form in "Preview PDF" I get a validation message box, listing all validation errors occurred (something like"the empty field xxx is mandatory", according to the message I set in "Validation pattern message" for that field) .When i do the same in "Preview HTML", no validation message box are shown (execValidate just returns false)Please note that in "form properties" -> "Form validation" -> "Show dialog message" I've selected "combine the messages of all the failed fields into one message box"What to do in order to obtain in HTML rendering the same behavior of PDF (validation error showed in validation message box) ?Thanks a lot.ByeStefano Taglietti

I have a process deployed over AEM Forms with multiple instances of that process running. When terminating a process instance, the process instance is shown as terminated but it continues to work as per the process workflow for some time before the process gets terminated. The same thing happens when suspending a process Instance, the status of the process instance is marked as SUSPENDED but the activities defined in the workflow of the process keeps on executing for quite a while. Is there any way to instantly kill/terminate the process instance along with the activities being performed within the process?

Hi, we are migrating our forms from 6.1 to 6.3.  When we are launching our forms in 6.3 we are getting a javascript error that is blocking everything. Can someone help us to identify the root cause ? Node type of dataGroup, is what follows that error.It's strange, every single field is mapped just fine, it only happens with a particular one.Any ideas?

We consult a multi-national organization which now requires a new Web Portal application to manage a procedure which has until now been handled manually using a PDF form (XFA).The form can be viewed here:http://www.e-publishing.af.mil/%3FtxtSearchWord%3Dafto22Click "AFTO 22" to view it.We need to be able to enter data online into this form and also be able to read data from it dynamically. In other words we need to allow communications between the form and our corporate database (a SQL Server 2008 R2 database).We thought about using LiveCycle Workbench, but do not know whether this is the right solution.We'd like to consult with you about finding the right solution, and possibly have direct help in developing this project (which requires also the handling of digital signatures).We'd appreciate any help from you (as calling Adobe Support is practically impossible).

There is an adobe documentation on "Configuring Adobe Experience Manager Forms on JEE on JBoss Cluster" which explains installing AEM forms server in JBOSS (Cluster) with MYSQL. Hello All,I have a pdf which generated from a word document .It has texts  but not like XFA form controls.I have to convert this form into the XFA form using Livecycle studio.I opened  pdf in livecycle studio,it  restructured the document into the studio structure.This pdf has forms like page1 and page2 and has subforms as it's children.When I change the content type as "Flowed" of page1,2 ,it disturbs the alignment and shifts everything to the left.Is there any way to make the form content type as flowed and does not disturb the alignment.Thanks,Vinod
