Adobe Experience Manager Forms

I am on AEM 6.1I have a form that has Javascript that runs at the client, at the server, and at Client and server.For the javascript that runs client side, I can use console.log or xfa.host.messageBox to display a message either in the console or browser to aid me along in debugging issues.However, I cannot seem to find a way to print either a message to server logs, or somewhere else to help with debugging.  If I use console.log or xfa.host.messageBox on the JS that is running on the server, it seems to cause the script not to run, or fail.I have client run JS that initiates another set of JS on the server, which in turn initiates more JS on the server in another part of the form.  Somewhere in the server side processes, I have an issue.I have a WSDL call that is run, but it currently only allows me to run it based off one filepath.  If I change the WSDL path to another version of the process (a valid working version), it fails.  I cannot troubleshoot if it is failing to either call t

I have a form being POST-ed to a custom end point which is implemented using a sling servlet. In this servlet, there is some backend validation done, based on which is we need to ask users to fill some data / fields again, if it does not meet business requirement.But when the user is shown the SAME form again, there is a custom message need to be displayed. e.g "Value XXXXX is not a valid for this user."Question -  How do I send that information from slingservlet as response so that it is available in form ? Which jsp/js files  do I modify ?/Kanwal

Trying to locate this on Adobe's website but coming up with items that aren't definitive, other than to call Adobe's customer sales line.What's the latest version of LCD?The only version I can find on Adobe's website is ES4 from 2015.Is is still called LiveCycle Designer? Good Afternoon,I’ve been reading through the Adobe forums as well as other areas on the net, but can’t seem to find what I am looking for.At present we are doing the below:User will open a pre-made PDF form in Adobe Acrobat 7 Standard, and input the necessary values for each field.They will then print the form to acrobat making everything on the form non-editable.Then they will send this new non-editable form to one of their supervisors, who would then review the form and insert their digital signature somewhere on the form.The supervisor will then send the form to another supervisor who also reviews the form and creates their digital signature on the form.Then the form is then sent to the manager where the same things happens. HiIs it possible to create an adaptive form by assembling/stitching together common fragments.  By fragment, I mean some reusable section of a form such as an address block (street no., street name, city, zip code, etc), or name information (First Name, middle initial, last name, e-mail, etc.)I would want to insert such fragments into an wizard-style adaptive layout.Furthermore, I need to be able to pre-populate form data and save/load drafts of partially completed forms.thank you

I am trying to prefill an adaptive form with json which is as per the json schema which I used to create the form. For testing purpose I have create a mock prefill data in the json format in a file and I am able to read that json and prefill form using the below guideBridge api:guideBridge.restoreGuideState({     dataRef : "file:///C:/Users/prefill.json",     success: function(guideResultObject){    console.log("prefill success");     },     error : function (guideResultObject) {    console.log("prefill error");     }});But in my use case I will be getting the json from a rest url and we need to send post some params to get that data. So I wrote an ajax call to get the jsonresponse. So Is there a way to include the jsonObject itself within the guideBridge.restoreGuideState api to prefill the data ? I have looked into the guidebridge documentation but didn't find anything related to this use case.

In AEM 6.2 been using Colspan property to make forms easier to read.However, I am trying to create a new form, and I thought I was following my previous steps but when I try to configure the properties, Colspan is missing from the properties list if I am in a panel. The only time the Colspan property is available is if the field is directly under guideRootPanel.Thanks!

I recently came across situation where I need to clear my dispatcher cache manually. For instance, If I am modifying any Js/css files, I would need to clear my dispatcher cache manually in order to get those modified new Js/css else it would be serving the old version of code. I just heard that ACS developed version clientlib which will help us do versioning. I have so many question on this.Before version clientlib how did AEM manage? Doesn't AEM has intelligent to manage versioned clientlibs? Is it correct of way of handling it? Can we create a Script whil will take back up of the existing before clearing those JS/css files? What are the other options we have?

In AEM Forms Workspace, when User A requests access to the queue of User B, User B gets an email notification with "Share Queue Request" in the subject line.  Clicking the link opens AEM Forms Workspace with a new item in the TO DO list of User B.  That item is associated with some sort of Flash interface that isn't loading.  Right clicking on it shows "movie not loaded". I'm trying this in IE as well as Firefox.  Neither works.  I've also tried different settings on IE compatibility view with no luck.Flash is also used in AdminUI for managing queue sharing (home -> services -> forms workflow -> shared queue uses a Flash interface).  This is working fine for me. So, I know that Flash is correctly installed and runs in my browser. Has anyone else seen this problem?  Any suggestions for troubleshooting?  Thanks.

My organization is trying to render our forms out to HTML5, but I'm having trouble following the instructions on this page Adobe Experience Manager Help | Rendering form template for HTML5 forms The instructions given are assuming you're using osgi service, but we want to do it using the jee stack instead.I can get it to render the form by using http://localhost:8080/lc/content/xfaforms/profiles/default.html?contentRoot=d:/Forms&template=sampleForm.xdp but when I try and merge data with it by adding "dataRef=path" to the URL, it looks like it just ignores that and just renders the form without data.Any advice?

Hi,I have a PDF template that uses a custom font let's call it XYZ. Data is being added to this form via the PDF output service. When viewed on a machine that doesn't have XYZ installed, the font is not present. I would like to embed XYZ into the generated PDF document as I do not expect users to have the font installed as a prerequisite of viewing my documents! I think this maybe possible as I can see embed options on the server, but can't find detailed documentation online.Below is what I have tried so far:The font is installed on the windows machine the server is running on and is also available in the aem forms/font directory referenced within the settings of adminui.I have also tried to "always embed" the  fonts in a couple of placesHome > Services > PDF formsFont Embedding Settings     Always Embed Fonts: XYZand I also tried adding a configuration under:Home > Services >PDF Generator > Adobe PDF SettingsAlways embed: XYZThe always embed fonts setting is also check

My table needs to repeat on each page for each looping item in my XML.  My table is inside a subform which has "Repeat Subform for Each Data Item" checked.  My form is working except a blank page is always added to the end of the document.  I tried making the table smaller, I tried removing the border, I tried all of the different pagination settings (Place/After), I tried a Conditional Break Script, I tried many other suggestions that uses provided on this forum for unwanted blank pages, and I still cannot get rid of this problem.  Attached is my PDF and XML.  Thank you for your help.Dropbox - repeating-table.xml Dropbox - repeating-table.pdf

Here we have a use case in which fields which are filled on first panel should reflect on second panel, we gave the second panel field name same as first panel , but value is not reflecting ... Interesting part is it works only for one field not other..For field named user_firstname its working but not for other, not sure what can be the cause for this behaviour.thanks
