Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Looking for some assistance with controlling the style "state" of a tab for a panel.  Intended purpose is to only trigger the "visited" state (in Canvas 3 theme, the green tick) on the tab if the required fields are completed, so a form filler will clearly see the tabs which are complete versus those which need to be revisited to complete.  If the required fields in the panel are not completed I'd like it to leave the tab in the default state with no green tick.  

Hello everyone, I am encountering an issue when trying to create a PDF from a PowerPoint file in AEM Forms via AdminUI Home > Services > PDFGenerator > Create PDF. While I am able to successfully convert Word documents into PDFs, the same does not work for PowerPoint files. I have attached a screenshot of the error message and the relevant logs for further context.Can anyone help me resolve this issue or provide guidance on how to fix it?Thank you in advance for your help! Best regards,

We are working on adaptive forms based on form core components (Service pack: 6.5.21, Form version: 1.1.64). I need to write some custom functions which need "globals" as a param.I am using the examples form the documentation: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/forms/adaptive-forms-authoring/authoring-adaptive-forms-core-components/create-an-adaptive-form-on-forms-cs/create-and-use-custom-function-core-component/custom-function-core-components-use-cases  /** * resetField * @2175539 resetField * @90521 {string} input1 * @90521 {object} field * @90521 {scope} globals */ function resetField(field,globals) { globals.functions.reset(field); } However when I chose this function from the rule editor, the "gobals" appeared as below:This prevented me to save the rule.I can't see any console errors. The custom functions works well if there is no "globals" param.Any ideas on this?

Can we use Adobe Translation Project to translate the PDFs that are created out of AEM Forms? We use Assembler service to generate PDFs from XDP. Either translation the PDF or XDP should work. Can this be done using the Adobe Translation service.

Hi TeamProblem:When copying the pattern property from the Adaptive Forms Core Component and pasting it into a custom core component, the "/" is missing when viewed in the UI. Hi all, I have a use case and wanted to get your thoughts and suggestions to move forward with implementation.We design forms (XDP) and then bind them to a JSON schema. We share a bcs file with our partners that explains them what each field on the form accepts.As you know, based on these defined bindings, we render the form with request payload (JSON) and generate a fillable prefilled PDF document. Our render service is a custom service built on top of Forms render service, only difference being request is a JSON payload unlike XML.We are now trying to render these XDPs as HTML5 forms and need a way to generate this JSON from within the HTML form, so we can feed that JSON data to our downstream systems. I do not see a straight forward way to implement this as JSON would contain the binding names versus XML which contains object names. We looked at Form Bridge API but it can only export XML. Ony possibility is building the JSON structure based on all bindings available in the form

I'm trying to get a proof-of-concept working for a headless consumer of AEM Adaptive Forms. I'm using this starter React project: https://github.com/adobe/react-starter-kit-aem-headless-forms I've created a Form Data Model in my local author instance running on localhost:4502 via the schema in that repo, and uploaded it as form-model.schema.json. I can access something that looks vaguely like a schema at http://localhost:4502/content/dam/formsanddocuments-fdm/application-form-data-model.schema.json As well as what seems like a high level description of the Adaptive Form I'm using with the path http://localhost:4502/content/forms/af/application-forms/peak-application-form/jcr:content/guideContainer.json My question is: How do I programmatically access the schema I just uploaded from the React repo? What's the path to the JSON? Can I do it on the author instance or do I need to stand up a publish instance as well? The README from the repo says

Hi all,Using AEM Designer version 6.5.0.201 Cipher:128 bit, an XDP form is created and uploaded to AEM 6.5 (on premise). This AEM renders the XDP form as HTML5 form in a browser. This form is not an Adaptive form. The HTML5 form is tested using the 'Read aloud' feature available in MS Edge. The browser is reading the label aloud, but it does not read the caption or the custom screen reader text for input text fields, check boxes and buttons. Attached is the sample 'ScreenReaderTest.pdf'. Please save this .pdf in .xdp file format. (This post does not allow to upload an XDP file).  What can be done to make this to work?Thanks

Hello AEM Community,I’m currently working on a project that involves automating interactions with pre-existing dynamic XFA forms created using Adobe LiveCycle. My goal is to automate the filling of specific fields in the form and simulate button actions (such as "Validate" and "Save"). Afterward, I plan to deploy this program in a cloud environment.I would like to know:Can AEM as a Service help automate the filling and button-click actions for dynamic LiveCycle XFA forms?Would AEM Forms provide the necessary API or integration capabilities to handle this type of automation in a cloud environment like GCP?Has anyone successfully used AEM Forms for similar cases, particularly with older dynamic XFA forms?Any insights, best practices, or suggestions on tools within the AEM ecosystem (or outside it) that could help me automate this process would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance!

Hello.  I am unable to repair or uninstall AEM from my machine after neglecting to enter the license key when installing.  I get the following error: I have tried reregistering the dll. I took a copy of the dll from machine where AEM is known to be working. I used the Cleanup tool offered in other solutions I found on this site.  Anyone have solution for this issue?  

Hello,I am using numeric input field, with an display as 0.00 ,so If I input 999 and focus out it will show in the field as 999.00, it will also trigger the required rule editor validations, when I focus out on that field.  Requirement:-I need to trigger the rule editor validations ,with I am still typing in the field. instead of after focusing out on the field.So if I keep typing like 1001 , it must show an error message in the field "that the value is grater that 1000" Issue:-1>If I type in 999 and stop ,for a while ,it must show 999.00 in the field2> while typing how to trigger the rule editor validation for the numeric field , how to trigger the rule editor validation to check for error3> if I focus-in again  i.e click on the field again ,it must show 999 again, instead of 999.00. I should able to remove any number say make it 9 or again make it to 99  Could you please provide inputs as how can I achieve it Regards,Srinivas

Hi, I'm trying to integrate cloudflare Turnstile with the AEM Adaptive forms in AEMaaCS. I'm following https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/forms/adaptive-forms-authoring/authoring-adaptive-forms-core-components/create-an-adaptive-form-on-forms-cs/integrate-adaptive-forms-turnstile-core-components. After following all the instruction:First, I don't see the "Adaptive Form Turnstile component" in the component list to use.And second. From the screenshot given in the above article it looks like they added "Adaptive Form hCaptcha" component instead of "Adaptive Form Turnstile component". When I add "Adaptive Form hCaptcha" component on my form, nothing is coming up in the "Select CAPTCHA Configuration" dropdown.Any idea, what I might be missing out here?   

MP1 portraitI created a form with one portrait Master Page (MP1).Appart from a few text fields in the master page, the content is basically a flowed subform (MP1_Body) with a table; the subform expands for as many records it receives, automatically continues in following pages, applies page break if needed using conditional break.All that works. MP2 landscapeNow, as second step. I am trying to introduce a second Master Page (MP2) with landscape orientation. Contains essentially the same things as MP1 but in a landscape orientation.The target is to decide on the fly to print the content either Portrait or Landscape (only one of them).I added necessary script to hide MP1 and show MP2 or viceversa. That seems to be working as well. However, MP2_Body subform, it is not recognizing the number of items of the binded content. Currently it is iterating only up to the Min Count in the Binding Section. Example: I have 11 lines of content; if I set Min Count = 1 it just prints one

In AEM forms designer, I have a two subforms. Each subform has text fields, a signature field and an email submit button. Some text fields are mandatory in each subform. Clicking on the email submit button of one subform should check whether mandatory fields in that specific subform have been filled. I have a validation script in a Script Object called 'validationUtils'. Hi guys, I've been trying to get my head around why some tables and subforms do not have Pagination tab. I have a table within a table that also contains another table. The table in the middle has Header and Content. If I select both, the Pagination tab appears, however, the setting applied doesn't work.If I only select either Header or Content the Pagination tab disappears. I'm out of options as to how to keep Header on the same page as Content. Any idea?

I'm new to Designer and have no coding experience so bear with me.  I'm using Designer 6.5 to create a form that has several check boxes. I need a warning message to appear if a user selects every check box. The message will state: "Please refine your choices".  How should I go about doing this - with the script editor? If so, how? Or is there a simpler way? Thanks!
