Is there a way to have modal pop up contain form elements like text field and a submit button , with validation where on submit an fdm service is invoked like the invoke service 

I am trying to view a PDF protected by AEM Forms 6.5 Document Security using SAML authentication.I believe the Document Security extended authentication feature can be used. The IdP is “Azure AD.”However, I am unsure about the following settings on the Azure AD side:Entity IDAssertion Consumer Service URLI think these are the endpoints for AEM Forms, but they do not seem to be documented.Does anyone know these settings?Thank you.

Hi Team Currently we are working on Government Project where we are not allowed to used Public repositories . We need to all AEM and Forms related dependent jars to our Internal Repositories . As per below link , Central repo having 26 and Adobe public having 19 dependency jars But usages only two in Central Repo and one Adobe public .What is deference o Central repo vs adobe Public (Most of the time we used adobe public repo only ) , Do i need to take all the jars uploaded to our internal repo or latest sdk jar enough for AEM (ex: com.adobe.aem) & aem osgi forms(forms add-on) ex: com.adobe.aemfd) .https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/com.adobe.aemfd/aemfd-client-sdk Currently we added two jars related SDK(AEM as a cloud service) but we using AEM6.7.20 on-premises with adobe OSGi Forms add-on package (project completely OSGI forms) ,is there any risk use SDK jars for AEM6.5 on-premises Project for Local development SDK:https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/com.adobe.

Hi all, I need to create a new component that consists of a title and a body text. The title can be set in the properties of the component, but I'm not certain how to create the body since it needs to be rich text. As far as I'm aware of, I can not have a rich text field in the component properties - is that correct? So I was thinking to enclose an input field in:<c:if test="${isEditMode}"> <label for="messageboxBody">First name:</label> <input type="text" id="messageboxBody" name="messageboxBody"> </c:if> and save the entry. But how can I do that? And is this the best approach or would there be an alternative to it? Thanks...

Hi, I am trying to run Adobe PDF services sample java project on my client machineGitHub - adobe/pdfservices-java-sdk-samples: Samples for the Adobe Document Services PDF Tools Java SDK I can run mvn clean install successfully and the jar is created successfully, but when I try to run Auto tag service API using the below command: mvn -f pom.xml exec:java -Dexec.mainClass=com.adobe.pdfservices.operation.samples.autotagpdf.AutotagPDF I get the following error: I have also added the proxy details in CreatePDFWithProxyServer. But I still get this error. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thank you. 

I am trying to write test cases using JUNIT4 for a class (AssemblerHelperService.java) with method (GetTotalPages) that accepts Assembler Service (com.adobe.fd.assembler.service.AssemblerService) instance and a PDF File (com.adobe.aemfd.docmanager.Document) as parameters.I created a separate Test class (AssemblerHelperServiceTest) with a method getTotalPages, created an instance of Assembler Service and then read a PDF file that i placed in resources folder of my project and then passed them both to the actual method that does the processing.when i run my test case, i always get Null Pointer exception for the Assembler Service object that i created within my test class, so the same gets passed to the actual method and eventually throws same Null Pointer Exception. Any Help would be much appreciatedI was thinking I might need to have a running local AEM server to retrieve the Assembler Service but did not find a way to do itjava.lang.NullPointerException at pdfgenerator.core.s

Hello All, Is there a way to set id attribute on core form components? I set custom attribute but in vain.Trying this on panel , submitI would like to iterate over instances of the panel with the id unless there is a better way to do that. Thanks,

Hi, Does anyone know if we can download or view the form submitted data? I remember seeing it somewhere in CRX but I can't recall where it was also "Download Document of Record" will this .xdp file have all the data users submitted? I can't open this file in local to check if it includes user submitted data. Currently in our forms we are using "Send Email" option on submission. We don't have any external database connected to save data.  

Hi TeamCurrently we have more tabular content for our forms (we are planning to use Adaptive Form Table Component), Is it possible to apply the theme only for Adaptive From Table Component only to have Rich User Experience For Table Content  . Current Theme having issues with Look And Feel (LAF) to rendering table component , We would like handle table content without impact overal Form LAF. Please let me know if any alternative (preferable rich user experience and LAF) to handle tabular content in our OSGI Adaptive Forms. Here is sample table content planning to Use Table Component or other options if any. RegardsVara

I have attached/uploaded the required receipts and submitted the form; however, I get an email error to attach receipts, which I did. How do get this issue resolved? 

AEM 6.5.19 with AEM Forms installed.Does script validation run for the File Attachment core component or is it just broken in AEM Forms?  The mandatory validation works when I check Required.  However, when I create a simple Validate rule in the code editor (see attached screenshot) that includes...console.log('File attachment validate running'); false;...and then submit the form, I never see the specified string in the javascript console.  The red validation error doesn't show up on the field either.Script validation runs on text fields just fine.  I have the same Validate rule configured on a text field and I see the message in the console when I submit the form as well as the red validation error.

Hi Team Currently we are facing the challenges to send filed value along format (fieldname. Value). Please help any way to get the filed value along with format Ex: Filed name is : Tax Identification Number (either SSN/EIN)  what we did we have having two fields 1) SSN (format as 999-99-9999) 2) EIN (format as 99-9999999) & having Hilden variable copying the value but formatting is not copies which very important to identify the whether sending SSN or EIN .Please help here to get the value include formatted (in below case get the value as :111-11-1111) 

Hi all.We are using AEMaaCS, and are currently looking at forms.I cannot find the "code editor" anywhere for the forms rules. This is the editor where you can type actual JavaScript. As a summary, I have: Downloaded a local copy of the AEM SDK v2022 onwards Installed the forms package .far file Added a forms content package to have forms templates installed Added the admin user to "forms-power-users" Create a form with some form fields / components On adding rules, there is only the visual rules editor. There used to be (in previous AEM versions) the dropdown on the top right to switch between visual rule editor and code editor. There is no drop down or indication of how to get access to the code editor. So, is the code editor still there for forms? I could not find any documentation to state that the code editor has been deprecated for AEMaaCS??

Hi All,We are creating forms using Adaptive Form Core Components and there is a use case in which we need to submit Form Data to a Backend API which saves form data in CRM along and also store form data in Sharepoint as a backup mechanism. To cater to this scenario, we are writing our own custom submit action.  Is  there is a mechanism by which we can utilise OOB Submit form action that submits form data to SharePoint within our custom submit Action? Any info would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Mohit  

Hi there,I'm working on a requirement where we have to create a "Service Request Form" via Adaptive Form and pre populate the customer data on page load via calling some external APIs. These APIs expecting "Access token" to give us the user's bank account details. We've created a OAuth Service which connects to some other APIs and give us the access token and now we need to pass that access token from AEM to external APIs, gets the user specific data and prefilled the Adaptive forms.We're trying to figure out a best way forward for this requirement to implement from Adaptive forms perspective. Kindly let me know your thoughts.Approach 1:  Create Custom Javascript to make a ajax call to Servlet. This servlet will connect to external APIs and get the response.Approach 2: Use Custom Authentication OOTB feature of Adaptive forms to create the datasource but I did not find any reference how we can utilize this ootb feature our requirement.Pls let me know your thoughts on this

Hi Everyone, I have created a Adaptive form in AEM. I want to retrieve JSON from an adaptive form and render it in a React application. I'm not able to retrieve the adaptable form's JSON in headless approach I adhered to the guidelines provided in this article: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-headless-adaptive-forms/using/get-started/create-and-publish-a-headless-form. I still can't seem to find the form model.json with form data as mentioned in the article. I created an Adaptive Form with the "Blank (template with Responsive Layout)" (see screenshot-1.png attached) and no theme selected.  I added a few OOTB Adaptive Form components to the form andn then embedded it in an authored page.When displayed in the authored page, the form now has duplicate text for the First Name textbox field (see screenshot-2.png attached).  I don't know where the first First Name came from, but the second is the label for the textbox field.Ultimately, I can just hide that extra "First Name" with css via div.simple.mobileLayout selector.  However, I'm curious if there is a way for me to remove that extra element before it is output with the rest of the html.  Any thoughts?

I have an adaptive form with a single submit button. When the form is submitted, I'd like it to both (1) POST to an external REST endpoint and (2) send an email. I tried creating a workflow to perform the two actions, but found that to be far less straightforward and beyond my current understanding.

Hello Team,       Our AEM application has interactive communication documents and the agents edit IC and submit through the agentui. We have a requirement to integrate with Adobe Sign. I understand that the Adobe Sign Block Component is used with Adaptive Form, but, IC comprises of document fragments. How do we integrate with esign? Do we have to add the sign tags in text object in the print template(XDP)?  Thanks in Advance,Nirmal    

Does anyone know if we can send email in other languages in Adaptive Form (Send Email) option? I already set the translation for form, which is working fine but I want the email to go in FR if user is filling FR page Form. 

I have created the table that having row and column dynamically increasing based on input xml data. but when there is more row and columns, the column contains break in 2 pages rather then flowing sequentially .Anyone help me out is there any property I missed or it can be achievable 

Hi Team, While creating Adaptive form we are unable to see the code editor option for our custom user group.Since we are not using OOTB feature like "forms-user" and "forms-power-users" group because the group contains lot of permission that we not supposed to provide access to our customers. So we like to know the specific permission to enable the code editor option without using forms-power-user group.It will be helpful if we get any guidance on this.
