Adobe Experience Manager Assets

Hello Community, We are using Context Hub for personalization in our project, and we have all the necessary setup in place, including segments, audiences, activities, and configured page properties for Context Hub. Everything is working as expected when we load the page in edit mode and then move to preview mode. We are able to see the targeted content. However, when we load the page in edit mode and then move to targeting mode and go to preview, it does not work and always shows the default content. I have checked the variants information in the teaser, and it does not display the correct information (attached screenshots only show the default content). If I reload the page again, it starts working, and I can see the correct variants information loading. The issue seems to be related to navigating from edit mode to targeting mode and then to preview mode. I have even restarted the com.day.cq.personalization.impl.TargetedContentManagerImpl component. Has a

Hello All I have two different documents (one.txt and two.txt) in same folder with same text. For example, 'Technical details page'And Documents are re-indexed. Backend search query isfulltext = Technical details pagep.offset=0p.limit=-1type=dam:Asset when searched for results. I'm getting only one document. One.txt And when remove type=dam:Asset from above query. Many results are returned and has my two documents. First Query Search Results1. /content/dam/one.text Second Query Search Results1. /content/dam/one.txt2. /content/dam/one.txt/jcr:content/renditions/page/jcr:content/par/text/text-163. /content/dam/two.txt4. /content/dam/two.txt/jcr:content/renditions/page/jcr:content/par/text/text-10 The difference between first search results and second search (removed type=dam:Asset) results is that second query checked inside dam:Asset and returned my results. Questions is: How the first query is able to return one.txt ? why did it not give two

Hi All, We have around 1lakh assets for which we have to import the metadata properties of the assets, using out of the box metadata import we can import only 100 assets at a time, to overcome this we have access to data import tool under ACS AEM Commons on AEMaaCS.   Please let me know the sample .xlsx file to be uploaded and above options to be filled while updating asset metadata properties, let us know if there is any limitations for number of assets metadata properties to be updated at once in a single .xlsx file Thanks,Devi

My customer who use AMS's AEM 6.5 can use the universal editor?I can't find any description about the universal editor nor MSM for Assets in the AEM6.5's online document, but only in AEM as a Claoud Service version. Reuse assets using MSM for Assets  Universal Editor Introduction 

We have created a feature that needs access to each asset's subassets.  But our subassets are not showing up in publish.  We do not have a publish option on the subassets folder.  Treeactivation does not seem to be working either.  And when we ran the subassets through the ActivationModel workflow, they each have an indicator that makes it appear as if they are published, yet they still do not show up in Publish - they all throw 404's.   Is this a bug or is there a way to make subassets available on Publish?

Hi,I would like to make a sorting behavior on 'Processing Status' column in AEM DAM Console. So whenever we are trying to upload an assets in DAM Console then we are good to upload but in few cases we are seeing some assets are showing like 'processing' and 'unProcessed' status in above mentioned column. So to identify actual status of issued assets we are trying to keep sorting on those. So could anyone help me on this behavior in 'Processing Status' column. Regards,Balu.

I have updated to photoshop 26.0 and I have installed the latest version of the Asset Link CEP plugin. However, I am getting an error when I try to open Asset Link. The "Adobe Asset Link" extension could not be loaded because Photoshop was unable to find the JavaScript plug-in." I am opening Photoshop with Rosetta, as Asset Link still doesn't appear in the Plug-ins panel, only in the legacy extensions.Right now the only thing that works in going back to a previous version of Photoshop.

I've done the configuration for Asset Link and AEM Assets and I'm now testing for function. I'm wondering if others are noticing issues with the Plugin not being visible in Photoshop - I actually don't see the Extensions label in my instance. As well I'm unable to checkout Or open files directly from Indesign or Illustrator. Any ideas or feedback regarding this plugin?

Hello.I use AEM to provide web services, but I have a separate development company, so it is difficult to check AEM specifications or internal codes.Only certain PCs cannot upload assets, modify and save components, or create new pages, as shown below.The asset capacity is not large and there seems to be no problem with the file itself, but this issue occurs. I need to check if it is an issue of AEM. Please check the capture. Is there a solution? 

Hi Team, We received an notification for Credential migration for AEM smart tag. We have configured smart tag in our EDAM environments.  We are in the process of migrating credential for smart tags. but we are unsure of the process of validation after migrating credentials since the smart tag was new to me.   Could you guys please provide the steps that we need to perform for validating the smart tags in order to check whether smart tags are working or not after credential migration. Regards,Anusha

Is it possible to have the default download setting for assets in the Brand Portal to be ONLY the original asset?  I want users to still have the option to download renditions, but do not want all renditions to be automatically selected.

Hi, I'm trying to move some assets using the HTTP MOVE API. But I'm getting 405 response saying Method not allowed. It was working till last week. Any idea how to fix this?Thanks,Rahul

I am trying to download Assets using Adobe Experience manager Assets console from experience.adobe.com. other than content fragment it is working fine for all other file types like images, CSS, JS. But when I was trying to download content fragment it hits status 400 error. Content fragment also a asset but it is not downloadable from Experience Manager Assets.

Hello Team, 6.5 on-site version.Assume you have a folder with 300 assets in it. You scroll down to the last 50 assets to preview, make corrections in metadata, etc. Each time you open and close the asset you are back at the top of the list of that folder. Then each time you have to scroll down through pages to get to where you last were... Now imagine you have a folder with 1000+ assets and you have to preview them... This is rather frustrating that AEM does not remember or hold last position and each time takes you back to the top of the list. It also takes time...Yes, I am aware I can open each image in a new tab each time, but sometimes we forget as it is not the common practice of how we open images when browsing... Is there a way to browse through the assets and not have to start from the top each time I open and close the image? I have worked with a few DAMs in the past, and non had this kind of "flaw". Many thanks!

Is there a way to run reporting to find all of the assets that are currently in a Brand Portal collection?  I need to move a large number of assets in AEM, but I obviously need to unpublish them from the brand portal first and doing that removes them from the collection.  If I have a list that I can reference I'll be able to restore collections when I have finished the moves.

Hi Team, Recently I created a custom metadata schema and applied it to a few folders within the DAM. It seems to be working as expected on my account and a few others. One thing I observed is that it is not visible to all the users within the same user group. I tested it with a new user and with a user who had been added to the DAM-Users group from a while back. I can confirm all user accounts (new and old) have the same access settings as they belong to the same user group. However, a few of them do not see the new metadata schema - they only see the default AEM DAM schema. At first I thought it may have been cookies related, so we cleared cookie history and also tested via incognito mode and via admin account impersonating the one that is glitching. No luck. Also, a lot of users lost access to the folder with the applied customised metadata schema - why is that?Question - is there something else that needs to be done when applying a custom metadata schema onto the folders?
