Hello Fellows, two issues with admin permission set for a specific user. 1)I have an admin that is receiving notifications when i create an asset contribution folder in aem assets.  This admin is not in my Department (meaning she shouldn't have admin access to our assets in our folder, nor receive notifications that i created an asset contribution folder.  We need to remedy specific admins to access specific folders as she as well has her assets that i should not have ability to administer. what woudl be a logical fix that is easy to administer? 2)This same admin as well appears on our Brand Portals user list although she is not assigned the product and should never use it.  Brand Portals is where we are publishing the asset contribution folderl, in which we invite Brand Portals users to upload assets and share back to our prod instance for collaboration.  How do i make sure this admin DOES NOT get url access to this space as she is not enli

Hello @sreenu539    Please try Bulk Editor https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/administering/operations/bulk-editor.html?lang=en   It allows to export information about pages in a tab-separated (.tsv) spreadsheet file   For adding custom properties, refer to https://www.dlighthouse.co/2018/11/using-aem-bulk-editor.html

Hi,Is it possible to have all the links that I have used in different component(custom component as well) to list in the link checker? For now I can see only link that are added in Text Component or we are directly using some.Let me know if any customization is required? Thanks in Advance

I implemented style system for one of my components and it works fine for both author and publisher. The CSS classes were wrapped on the outer div of the component in author and publisher, but the same is not happening in the dispatcher.  Did anybody face the same problem? can somebody please help? Thanks in advance.

When I was overlaying one of the OOTB Form components (guidetextdraw) from /libs, I found that we have to copy the whole structure present under /libs to make it work. If we delete any JSP's or nodes, it doesn't render. Is this expected or am I doing something wrong?

Hi AEM Community,   We are pushing some custom indexes (updating) via code to Stage and Prod. But for some reason couple of indexes are not getting updated.   We have tried couple of builds but nothing worked until we tried the below- We installed an empty package to remove the indexing and then triggered the build. That worked!   Any ideas on what might have caused this issue? @aanchal-sikka, @arunpatidar, @markusbullaadobe, @estebanbustamante    Best Regards, Rohan Garg

Hi, I need to connect to AEM Assets (Cloud) via a remote server to download c. 100 assets (images).  What are my options?  I had a look here and it wasn't very clear: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/assets/admin/developer-reference-material-apis.html?lang=en I see reference to upload but nothing on download. Thanks in advance

Hi Team, We are facing issue with rendering of special character like é from request parameter and it renders as ? on page source on dispatcher url, where as on publishers renders fine.We checked the org.apache.sling.engine.parameters settings and utf-8 is set and dispatcher httpd.conf also UTF-8 is set asAddDefaultCharset utf-8 url - example  http://localhost:4502/content/abc/en/home/search.html?model=coupé from publishers renders character fine but dispatcher shows on page as coup? Also when try hitting like http://localhost:4502/content/abc/en/home/search.html?model=coupé&_charset_=ISO-8859-1 renders character fine on dispatcher.on page <meta charset="UTF-8"/> is already set. Kindly share on inputs to check on same.

I am using AEM 6.5.15 and have configured a content fragment configuration and model under my site for persisted queries. I saved a query via GraphiQL editor and am able to execute the same via the editor successfully. But when i execute the same using below URL, it is resulting empty results. https://localhost:4502/graphql/execute.json/<my-site>/tagged-cf-test%3Blocale%3Dabc-app%3Alocales%2Ffr_CA%3B (fetching the content fragments on the basis on custom locales tags I have created). Please help in case i have missed any configuration. P.S I have already configured my graphql endpoint in CSRF filter list.

Hello everyone, I am encountering an issue with my dynamic PDF form that includes numerous subforms, some of which are initially excluded from the layout. The visibility of these subforms is dependent on the values of checkbox, dropdown, or textbox fields. My challenge arises when attempting to establish a logical tab order within the form. The tab order doesn't behave as expected for dynamically hidden and then visible subforms. I've tried a couple of approaches without success: Changing Tab Order with Visible Fields:I made all fields visible (including the hidden one to).Adjusted the tab order as needed.Excluded the unnecessary fields (those are related to condition) from the layout.Unfortunately, this method did not yield the expected tab order when subforms became visible based on the values of other fields.Using setFocus() in Events:I attempted to use the setFocus() function within mouseExit/exit events to influence tab order dynamically. This also did not produce th

Hello, I'm an intern and my current task is to setup the CIF addon and the Venia project. While I was able to install both the project and core components, when I try to access Venia store through Commerce icon in AEM I get the following response: I've double checked the installation files regarding author and publish instances, the bundles for the venia project and cif core components are installed and active. I've asked my superior if I needed to have Commerce installed and he gave me no as an answer. He said that I could use/set venia.magento.com as an environment variable and it should work fine. It didn't. I've also tried to follow the steps of this link: https://www.tothenew.com/blog/install-and-configure-the-cif-add-on-in-aem-to-connect-venia-store/ But was unable to set it up. Do I need to install Adobe Commerce or is it really not necessary? How can I set up my commerce endpoint and environment variable so I'm able to access commerce through AEM? Any hints

I am trying to use the PDF Viewer for the first time on one of our sites.  I've followed the steps from https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-core-components/using/components/pdf-viewer.html?lang=en.  I also configured the sling:configs nodes under /conf on author and publish using the appropriate clientId  with the one on publish being the one for the domain of the published site. Everything seems to work fine on author and I'm able to successfully embed a PDF on the page.  However on the published site, the PDF doesn't display at all.  Viewing the page source shows that there is only an empty div there of class "pdfviewer section".  If I view the page directly on the publish server, it displays the pdf viewer.  This makes me feel like I've replicated everything to publish correctly. I do get the "File preview not available" message because the domain of our publish server is different that the domain of the published site.&

I have a situation where there is an image uploaded to a page with the cq/gui/components/authoring/dialog/fileupload component using the uploadUrl property = ${suffix.path}. This image gets cached (based on our dispatcher rules) for 2 hours, which is fine. However, when the image gets swapped out for a new one, we have to wait upwards of 2 hours for it to change because the file name is not updated. It would be nice to keep the long cache of this image, but bust it when the image changes. One way to do this would be to add a version number or UUID of some sort to the upload file name. Is this possible in the cq:dialog XML? Something like uploadUrl="${suffix.path}.${generate.uuid}" would be nice in this situation.

Hi, Following are details of the development environment. AEM Version: 6.5.17.0-SSP1 Core CIF Version: 2.12.0 Core Component Version: 2.19.0 Magento GraphQL Version: 9.1.0-magento242ee GraphQL Client version: 1.7.11  We have installed the above packages to enable the CIF commerce framework. The AEM is successfully integrated with Magento as well, the AEM Commerce section is enabled and can see Magento products there. We can use CIF core component to load products using CIF Product or Product Teaser core component as well. What we have experienced is that after, the experience fragment's headless JSON response is broken. Those experience fragments include custom components and Our APIs are fetching experience fragment headless JSON output via “.model.json” URL.  Usually, the correct JSON output should be given with static content of the custom component which authored. But, the Experience fragment (.model.json) URL output has the following JSON for the custom componen
